(Clearwisdom.net) My son Jiong'er was born in 1995, and attends junior high school. Although he is only 14 years old, he has been practicing Falun Dafa for ten years. Since the start of the persecution, Jiong'er has fearlessly and rationally performed the three things well, and distributed truth clarifying materials which have influenced people to withdraw from the CCP. To date, he has persuaded at least five thousand people to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Learning Falun Dafa at Age Four
When Jiong'er was born, a horrible campaign for the one-child policy was going on in China. So I sent him to the countryside to live with relatives until he was four, and then brought him back to live with me. That was early 1999. I took him to the practice site to listen to Teacher's Fa lectures and to watch the videos. Although he was only four, he was like an adult, listening very attentively. Although it has been ten years now, he still remembers how it was when he first learned the Fa.
Distributing Truth Materials at Age Six
When he was six, the persecution had been ongoing for two years. He went out with me often to distribute truth materials. He once asked me, "Mom, why are we distributing this?" I told him, "This is to save people." He then said, "Mom, I want to save people, too." The two of us have continued to go out and clarify the truth together, rain or shine, for years. Throughout the process, I read Dafa articles to him and we studied Zhuan Falun. He had no fear and we were always able to return home safely.
Once, when Jiong'er was eight, we each had about 50 copies of truth-clarifying materials that we went out to distribute. As we were passing them out, we lost each other. At first I was worried, but then I thought, "No need to worry, we have Teacher." When we finished distributing the copies, we both returned home at the same time. He said to me, "Mom, I was not scared when I didn't see you. I just thought that I should go home as soon as I was done so Mom won't be worried."
One morning in 2003, I was taken away by the police, but managed to escape, and I returned home in the afternoon. When I returned home, Jiong'er asked me, "Mom, were you scared?" I told him, "I was a little bit at first, but I was reciting Teacher's article, What's to Fear, (Hong Yin II) and became fearless." After dinner, my husband was afraid that I might be arrested again and tried to stop me from going out. We still had some materials at home. I said to Jiong'er, "The more they persecute, the more we should distribute the materials to disintegrate the evil." Jiong'er said, "Mom, let me do it. I will be back safe and sound." I said to him, "You will have to be very careful." So, without his father knowing, my son quickly left home. In about an hour or so, Jiong'er returned, having passed out all of his materials. He told me, "At one of the households, someone just stuck their hand out of the door to receive the material. I wasn't scared and didn't think about it at all." I was very happy to hear that.
That was the first time he went out on his own. He now often goes out on his own. I thought he was doing a great job. He is very simple and kind, and he is very clear that Teacher wants him to save people.
Clarifying the Truth at Age Ten
When he was ten, Jiong'er often participated in group study. Sometimes he went with me, and at other times he went on his own. With the advance of Fa-rectification and the improvement of xinxing, practitioners from our group decided to clarify the truth with people face-to-face. Jiong'er wanted to do this as well, and he made up his mind that he would do it.
One time he saw an older lady and said to her, "Granny, Falun Dafa is good." The older lady was shocked. Although this was abrupt, it was a beginning. Since then, he has clarified the truth to his good friends and his classmates, and gradually he became quite experienced. He used every opportunity he had to talk to strangers he met on his way home from school, his friends' parents, his teachers, retired police officers, just about anybody. And he did it very well. Even his friends and teachers helped him clarify the truth to other people.
Persuading People to Withdraw from the CCP with Wisdom
One day on his way home, Jiong'er said to one of his friends, "Did you see what is written on that wall? Withdrawal from the CCP will bring you peace and safety. Look, nowadays good people are being arrested and the police and the government are very corrupt. Why don't you withdraw from the CCP?" He went on to say, "The girl in our textbook, Liu Siing, was said to have burns over 900f her body, and her windpipe was cut open, but she could still sing. It was reported on TV that a man named Wang Jindong had burned clothes and hair, but the plastic soda bottle he had in his hand was intact. Aren't those things impossible lies? Falun Gong teaches people to be good, not to hit back when hit, not to yell back when being yelled at." The mother of his friend came along and Jiong'er also said to her, "Auntie, why don't you withdraw from the CCP, too. It will bring you peace." The lady replied. "We believe what you are telling us and so we will do it. I will also tell his father. All three of us will withdraw. Thank you. How do you know so much?" The lady even bought two buns for Jiong'er to thank him. He didn't want to accept them, but the lady insisted.
One time Jiong'er was practicing ping-pong at school and at the end of the practice, everyone was thirsty. He had one yuan in his pocket and was going to buy a bottle of water. One of his teammates asked to borrow some money, and although Jiong'er was very thirsty, he didn't hesitate to give his teammate the money. He even told him not to bother to pay back the money. Later, the boy had a birthday party and invited everybody to dinner including Jiong'er. As Jiong'er was not in his class, he asked why he was invited also. The boy said, "Do you remember the time when you lent me money to buy water, even though you didn't have any for yourself?" You are the only one who would lend your last dollar to me. You are different from other people. You are so kind."
Jiong'er knew it was his opportunity to clarify the truth, so he went home to ask for ten yuan and said that his friend was having a birthday party and he can't just eat there for free. The boy's father had a table reserved for all of the boy's friends. Jiong'er managed to persuade eight of them to withdraw from the Young Pioneers. The birthday boy said, "I believe in everything you told me. I trust you. You saved us."
Persuading Three-thousand People to Withdraw from the CCP in One Semester
When he was in the sixth grade, Jiong'er went to a school near our home to clarify the truth during lunch and in the evening. Every day he was able to persuade fifty people to withdraw. He went to the students' dorm and talked to students one by one. When the teacher came to check on the students, the classmates provided protection for Jiong'er by hiding him. He persuaded a total of three thousand students to withdraw from the CCP.
During summer vacation, he used his time in the tutorial class to clarify the truth. He persuaded some twenty students in a tutorial class to withdraw from the CCP, including the teacher. The teacher even asked for a copy of Zhuan Falun. Then when the teacher changed to teach another class and asked if Jiong'er would go with her, he went along knowing that it would be a new opportunity to clarify the truth. As a result, the teacher and Jiong'er persuaded twenty people to withdraw from the CCP.
Escaping a Dangerous Situation with Righteous Thoughts
Once, after he clarified the truth, he noticed that a teenage boy was following him. Jiong'er thought, "I have to get rid of him. I am not going to go home." So, he walked around, but couldn't get rid of the guy. He knocked on one door that was locked and shouted, "Mom, open the door. I am back." Then he said to himself, "How come no one is home? The door is locked." The teenage boy said, "Now I know where you live. I will be back." Finally Jiong'er managed to get home safely.
Always Remembering to Save People
Jiong'er is now in eighth grade. He has to attend morning and evening study sessions at school and only has a break every two weeks, but he still finds time to study the Fa and do the exercises. Whenever he has time, he clarifies the truth.
In only a few years, Jiong'er has persuaded a total of five thousand people to withdraw from the CCP.
Jiong'er didn't want me to talk about how many people he had persuaded to withdraw from the CCP. He thought it was like showing off, and that other practitioners were also doing very well and even better. He felt that we should not show off. He was also very clear in his mind that he could not have escaped from dangerous situations time and again had it not been for Teacher's protection. He knows that Teacher is around him all the time, and without Teacher, he couldn't have done anything.
A few days ago, Jiong'er had a dream that many people were waving at him. He enlightened to the fact that he can't relax. He still needs to persuade people to withdraw from the CCP. No matter how intensive his study is, he cannot neglect saving people.
