(Clearwisdom.net) The Beijing Summer Olympics is getting closer. Using the excuse of "Building a Good Environment for the Olympics," the CCP has illegally arrested Falun Gong practitioners who believe in "Truth, Compassion, and Forbearance." Days before and after June 30, police from Mudanjiang Police Station, the 610 Office, the local police station, Muling City Police Station, and Hailin Police Station arrested many Falun Gong practitioners. They also ransacked practitioners' homes. Several people were forced to become homeless. In addition to these activities, Muling Police Station participated in several arrests in Mudanjiang City. Nearly 20 practitioners had money extorted from them. Practitioner Li Haifeng was beaten by the national security staff members from Mudanjiang, and practitioner Zhang Yufeng was so badly treated that he even had difficulty walking.

On the morning of June 30 while at work, practitioner Jiao Fujun from Anmin Village, Hualin Township was arrested by police from Yangming Branch Police Station and Hualin Township Police Station. Three thousand yuan was extorted from him. Practitioner You Shengjun was also arrested at his home and had 1,000 yuan extorted from him. They were both released in the afternoon.

On June 30 after one o'clock in the afternoon, those in charge at Huoju Police Station sent about seven officers to practitioner Zhao Bailiang's home and made arrests. Among those who were arrested were Zhao Bailiang, Zhang Yuhua, Zhang Yufeng, Cheng Li, and Yang. Left at home were a baby and the wife who had given birth to a baby only four days before. On July 1, police sent Cheng Li home and horrified her eight-year-old child.

On June 30 at around 3 p.m., Li Haifeng and Dabin (a non-practitioner) were arrested at Longmen Market.

On June 30, practitioner Geng Guizhi from Shuangfeng Village, Hailin City; her elder sister; and Han Rongqing, a practitioner from Yanglin village, were arrested by Hailin Police Station officers.

In the evening on June 30, Ms. Li Yunhua, who went back to Mudanjiang to accompany her son to the collage entrance examination, was illegally arrested and then had money extorted from her. She has now left Mudanjiang.

On July 2, police from Huoju Police Station went to Ms. Dong Shuyan's home to arrest her. Her husband stopped them and they were unable to take Ms. Dong away.

On July 2, from 7 to 8 p.m., several officers from Qianjin Police Station went to practitioner Zhang Cuizhi's home and arrested several people, including Zhang Cuizhi, Zhao Yunyan, and Da Wang, who were studying the Fa.

Only a few days later there was news that practitioner Li Haifeng was beaten by the national security staff members in Mudanjiang City. The police took practitioner Ms. Zhang Yufeng and went to her home to ransack it. No one knows how the police mistreated Ms. Zhang so that she now has difficulty even walking.

According to what we know, Ms. Zhao Jianguo was interrogated under brutal torture by police from the National Security Agency in Mudanjiang City. The police took him to the office of the City's National Security Agency. They took turns interrogating him and would not allow him to sleep for several days. During those illegal interrogations, police officer Guo Liangyi kicked several of Mr. Zhao's teeth out. Peng Fuming, the team leader from the National Security Agency, tortured Mr. Zhao twice with ropes. Qiao Ping used the bottom of a shoe to slap Zhao's face, and he also threatened to send him to the forced labor camp.

How Mudanjiang Police Station personnel persecute Falun Gong practitioners

Ms. Li Hongmin, 60 years old, is a practitioner from Mudanjiang City. She was arrested by City Police Station officers on the afternoon of October 16, 2002, and was persecuted to death on October 17. After her death, the police pushed her body from upstairs to downstairs. They then notified her family and the leaders of her work unit on October 18, saying that she jumped off the building and committed suicide. She was cremated on October 19. It was reported that Ms. Li Hongmin was forced-fed with a bottle of mustard oil, and then the police covered her head with a plastic bag, and she choked to death.

City Police Station officers also threatened her family members and told them to lie to outsiders by saying that she was not dead, that she had gone to visit her relatives. They wanted to suppress the news of her death.

Officials at Nanshan Police Station of Yanming Branch Police Station of Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, followed Jiang's regime closely in persecuting Falun Gong. Practitioner Mr. Cui Cunyi, 54 years old, was arrested by police from Dongan Branch Police Station of Mudanjiang City on May 13, 2002. He was later sent to Nanshan Police Station, Tielinghe Township Police Station, Yangming District Branch Police Station, and was persecuted to death. There was no record of interrogations. Cui Cunyi had been beaten until he was totally black and blue and covered with wounds. The law doctor performed an autopsy, and found that five ribs were broken, one into three pieces and one into two pieces. His lungs had turned black. His eyes were red and swollen. His legs had turned black. He was horrible a sight.

I hope that people from all walks of life in China and abroad can help stop this evil persecution and help rescue those kind people who are being "illegally detained" and are still suffering inhuman tortures.
