Member of UK House of Lords: Boycott the Olympic Games to Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Baroness Caroline Cox, Member of the House of Lords in the UK, sent a statement to be read at the Human Rights Torch Relay ceremony held on August 18, 2007, to show her support for the event and to protest the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s persecution of Falun Gong. Following is the full content of her letter:

(Clearwisdom.net) Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez of California and seven other House members wrote a joint letter to the Mayor of Beijing, the Director of the Labor Education Bureau in Beijing, and the Director of the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp to express their concern over the arrest and sentencing of Falun Gong practitioner and staff member of the Beijing Office of the US Asia Foundation Mr. Bu Dongwei. They requested the release of Mr. Bu.

On August 22, 2007, the newspaper Libération, one of the three main national newspapers in France, which is widely distributed in other French-speaking countries around the world, published a three-quarter page article on the Human Rights Torch Relay that was launched in Athens on August 8 and reached Germany on August 18.
