(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of April 21, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wenyi Wang was released without bail by a Washington D.C. court on condition that she must appear for a hearing on May 3. Some local practitioners held a press conference outside the court. Washington D.C. think tanks, NGOs and human rights lawyers spoke out in succession calling on the international community to pay close attention to the CCP's crimes of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
During President Bush's meeting with Hu Jintao on the lawn of the White House, while attending as reporter, practitioner Wenyi Wang spoke out loudly for more than two minutes, calling on President Bush and Hu to stop the persecution. She was then taken away by security. On April 21, a judge announced that a hearing would be held at 9:30 a.m. on May 3, coinciding with World Press Freedom Day declared by the United Nations.

Wenyi Wang said: "Recently two key witness have stepped forward in succession to publicly testify about the CCP's crimes of harvesting organs from practitioners. As a physician, I cannot tolerance such inhumane crimes. Medical professionals are supposed to save people' lives." Meanwhile, she stated clearly that her appeal was her own and was not influenced by any organization or group.
The Wenyi Wang Appeal Linked to the Persecution of Falun Gong
The press conference was hosted by human rights lawyer, Dr. Terri Mash. She said that one cannot separate Ms Wang's appeal from the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong in China and the crime of harvesting organs from living practitioners and then cremating the bodies. Otherwise, it would be just like discussing Dr. Martin Luther King without discussing the civil rights movement, or discussing Gandhi without discussing his non-violent movement.
Dr. Marsh invited all people at the press conference to put the incident in a larger perspective--the ongoing persecution and killing of Falun Gong practitioners who live by the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance".
Dr. Marsh said that mounting evidence indicates that those peaceful, kind and compassionate people are being killed in labor camps and hospitals all over China. While they are still alive, their organs are removed for profit.
"As an expert and physician, Dr. Wang once vowed to save lives. However, doctors in China are murdering people instead of saving lives." Dr. Marsh said. She again asked people to put Ms. Wang's appeal into this larger perspective.

Michael Horowitz, Director of the Hudson Institute's Project on Civil Justice Reform and Project on International Religious Liberty, said that he had collected some Chinese websites' information in English or Japanese. Those websites wrote: You want several thousands organs, come here and we have them. "This is the persecution Falun Gong practitioners are facing," he said.
He said that we bystanders will eventually learn that they are the people who are being persecuted most severely. We have reason to believe that those repressive regimes most fear people who do not fear them.
Call for Full Investigation of Chinese Labor Camps
When interviewed, Executive Director of the World Human Rights Organization (WHRO) Timothy Cooper said: There is no question that the U.S. government needs to perform an in-depth investigation into the claims of organ harvesting from living Falun Gng practitioners in Chinese labor camps and concentration camps. The Chinese Communist regime announced that it would allow the international community to investigate three weeks after the claim. This action of transferring detainees and destroying evidence indicates that we need to further investigate all Chinese labor camps.
Cooper called on the U.S. government and UN anti-torture organization to go into all Chinese labor camps to perform a full investigation. He also hoped to sue the Chinese Communist Party for crimes against humanity.
Saddened by Media silence
Australian practitioner Jennifer Zeng was unlawfully detained in a Chinese labor camp for her belief in Falun Gong. While incarcerated, she was threatened that she would be sent to an unidentified location in northeast China for detention and she would never come back alive if she didn't denounce Falun Gong.
Ms. Zeng said: I feel very sad for media. When witnesses exposed the atrocities of harvesting organs from living practitioners, a crime never heard of in the past, the media are still remaining silent. They didn't turn their cameras to Falun Gong before Wenyi Wang protested in such an unusual way. This is really ironic.
Ms. Zeng said: "Some reporters claimed that the persecution has lasted 7 years and the persecution of Falun Gong is not newsworthy any more. However, each individual persecuted to death is a life. As media and government officials, you should ask your conscience what you should do."
Falun Gong practitioners who participated in the press conference unfurled banners exposing the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs and called for urgent action to rescue the practitioners persecuted in China.

April 21, 2006 - The sight yesterday morning of Chinese Prime Minister Hu Jintao being upbraided by a [Falun Gong] protestor at the White House at the outset of his state visit was both shocking and thrilling.
It was shocking because a wild intrusion at a controlled event at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue really isn't welcome.
It was thrilling because the head of a tyrannical government was forced for a moment to hear the voice of freedom - a voice that unmistakably told him in his own language, "Your days are numbered, no more time for China's ruling party."
No one should be under any illusions that the outburst by protestor Wenyi Wang will have long-lasting ramifications. In historical terms, the words spoken by George W. Bush just before she began shouting were far more important because they came from the mouth of the president of the United States.
Bush said he would "continue to discuss with President Hu the importance of respecting human rights and freedoms of the Chinese people. China has become successful because the Chinese people are experiencing the freedom to buy, and to sell, and to produce - and China can grow even more successful by allowing the Chinese people the freedom to assemble, to speak freely and to worship." Not the most passionate rhetoric, but it's still important that Bush said it.
If anything, Wenyi Wang's protest backfired. She was speaking on behalf of the suppressed Falun Gong religious movement, whose leaders and followers have been subjected to appalling imprisonments and torture inside China - and her confrontation with Hu probably made it harder for the president to use the visit as a means of appealing to Hu to lighten up on Falun Gong. Instead of devoting the day to such matters, Bush was forced publicly to express regret for the rudeness with which Hu was welcomed.
And yet how can we not feel a thrill at Wenyi Wang's actions?
If Hu is going to come to the West and be treated as a peer by the president of the United States, then he should get all the West has to offer. That includes inconvenient people following him around to remind him and others in the foreign-policy and business communities who want only to suck up to him that Hu is, in fact, the representative of a government that has freed its people only to the extent that it allows them the freedom to work and earn.
China presents a peculiarly difficult challenge for the United States. On the one hand, the government's decision to liberalize its economy offers hope that this most populous nation on earth cannot long remain even partially shackled. On the other hand, it uses its growing economic power to strengthen its hold on its people.
So do we accelerate our business interests in China because, in part, that will accelerate its journey toward liberal democracy? Or are Western businesses inadvertently contributing to the power of the regime?
Do we seek a closer relationship with China? Or do we need to keep more than an arm's length so that we don't serve the interests of a system we want to see replaced as soon as is practicable - replaced because no regime that treats Falun Gong meditation as a crime against the state should survive and thrive?
These are questions that must be asked, and addressed. The great virtue of Wenyi Wang's protest was not only that it caused Hu some discomfort, but that it will provoke Americans to discuss them, and to pay heed to China's crimes even as we welcome China's freer economy.

This news heated up the already hot topic on the Yale campus.

Media Focuses on Campus Appeal Activities and Signatures Delivered to Yale President's Office
The activities of Falun Gong practitioners at Yale before Hu's visit received a lot attention from local media. The New Haven Register reported Falun Gong's activities on April 19 on its front page. On April 20, Channel 8, Fox 61, CNN and NBC as well as many newspapers all focused on New York Falun Gong practitioner Wangqing Huang.
According to Mr. Huang, his younger brother Xiong Huang has been missing for 3 years after having been pursued by Chinese police for two years. It was recently discovered that his record has been deleted from the police's database. Huang is very worried that his brother has become one of the thousands of "unidentified organ donors".

At noon on April 20, in the presence of a number of media outlets, Min Deng, president of the Yale Falun Gong Club, hosted a press conference in front of the Yale President's office and then delivered more than 2400 signatures of Yale students and faculty members to staff member Nina Glickson. Ms. Clickson promised to pass the signatures to the President. All the signatures support an appeal calling on the Chinese Communist regime to open up all its labor camps and prisons for an independent international investigation of organ harvesting claims.
Deng said: "Upon hearing about the organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners detained in Chinese labor camps, we were shocked. We collected signatures to urge Yale President Richard Levin to ask Hu to open all labor camps for investigation. Our appeal has received widespread support on campus and we have collected more than 2400 signatures in just a few days.
Encouragement from a Mainlander
At the rally, Deng read aloud an email from a lady living in Mainland China, who said: "Though I don't believe in Falun Gong, I do believe in freedom of belief. At the same time, I give my highest support to you and all other Chinese who are striving for more rights. After talking with you, I was shocked. I feel you are doing a very difficult job and I sincerely admire your tireless efforts. I signed my name today, and I will continue to support you in my way. Please remember this at your most difficult time: There are many Chinese who understand and support you. I hope that you will keep your noble efforts up till the light shines."
A Christian and Nephrology Doctor's Appeal

Retired Yale professor Yuming Zhang gave an emotional speech at the rally. He said: "I am a Christian. Though I am not a Falun Gong practitioner, I support your efforts to acquire freedom of belief because Falun Gong is not only fighting for their own rights, they are also fighting for the rights of all Chinese and Americans."
Professor Zhang said that the Chinese Communist regime must stop its persecution of Falun Gong. In the past 50 years, the reign of the Chinese communist regime has resulted in more deaths than occurred in the Sino-Japanese war.

At the rally, Yale nephrology research faculty member Jianchao Xu called on his Chinese colleagues to stop harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners and urged American patients who are planning to go to China for transplants to think about it carefully before doing so.

(Clearwisdom.net) The Falun Dafa Association and the Minghui/Clearwisdom website established the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) after the Sujiatun Concentration Camp was exposed. The coalition demands a thorough investigation of all Chinese Communist Party (CCP) labor camps, prisons, hospitals and related facilities where Falun Gong practitioners are persecuted. Many people were shocked by the live organ harvests at Sujiatun Concentration Camp and yet prisons, labor camps and other concentration camps throughout China are the primary places where the CCP has been persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in the past seven years. Sujiatun is just one of many such facilities.
According to official data, right now, more than 670 prisons in China exist that are holding more than 1.5 million detainees; 300 labor camps are holding about 300,000 detainees. Not all of the people incarcerated at these facilities are criminals, and yet they have been deprived of all legal rights and are forced to work in factories or do heavy labor. CCP prisons are in fact torture chambers. Someone said that compared to CCP prisons, the most assailed Zhazitong and Baigongguan prisons built by the Nationalist Party that the CCP propagandized to incite hatred are "civilized prisons."
Citing a 2005 Time Magazine report, Chinese labor camps are "places outside the law" [paraphrase] where privileges and darkness exist outside the reach of law.
During the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, the prisons and labor camps played highly efficient roles as accomplices. According to confirmed statistics on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website, since July 1999, 2,870 Falun Gong practitioners have died from the persecution. According to internal CCP data from October 2001 , at least 6,000 Falun Gong practitioners were illegally sentenced to prison, and more than 100,000 practitioners were sentenced to forced labor throughout China. Because the CCP could not justify the fabricated charges against Falun Gong practitioners, the most common practice has been to skip trial and send the practitioners directly to labor camps. As a result, the number of practitioners held at labor camps far exceeds practitioners held in prisons.
We cannot obtain the exact number of Falun Gong practitioners held in Chinese labor camps due to the CCP's information blockade and cover-up; but according to information from Chinese labor camps a few years ago, many labor camps held far more people than their capacity; major labor camps held between 5,000 and 20,000 people per camp.
Falun Gong practitioners are savagely tortured at these prisons and labor camps, tortures that include barbaric beatings, being locked in dungeons, a water dungeon, shocks from electric batons, force-feeding with concentrated salt water and feces, sleep deprivation, sexual assault, rape, forced injection and ingestion of nerve-damaging drugs. The methods are horrifying. They are also harvesting living Falun Gong practitioners' organs and cremating their bodies to destroy evidence, which is another persecution method that has not yet been fully exposed.
As early as December 22, 2000, an internal source revealed to the Minghui/Clearwisdom website that "some evil police officers in Mainland China are plotting with greedy doctors and looking to sell the human organs of Falun Gong practitioners for huge sums of money. Needless to say, their plans are cruel and heartless to the extreme." One source indicates that "a certain hospital in the city of Shijiazhuang specializing in Chinese medicine has received six such requests." According to information we have obtained so far, prisons and labor camps in Heilongjiang Province, Liaoning Province, Shandong Province, Fujian Province, Guangdong Province, Guangxi Province used to draw blood samples from Falun Gong practitioners for "a physical exam." A blood exam is an important part of tissue matching in organ transplants. Many Falun Gong practitioners were forced to submit to a physical exam before they were transferred, but non-practitioner detainees did not have to provide blood samples.
In the past few years, the number of organ transplants in China has increased rapidly. Between 1991 and 1998, only 78 liver transplant surgeries were performed in China. In 1999, 2000 and 2001, the number of liver transplants was 118, 254 and 486. In 2003, this number shot up to more than 3,000. An expert from the China Organ Transplant Research Association said that nearly 4,000 liver transplants were carried out in China in 2005, and nearly 10,000 kidney transplants were completed. More than 90,000 organ transplants have been carried out in China in the past decade. Tissue matches aside from close relatives are low--less than 5%. Even in the USA where organ donations are common practice, the average wait time for an organ transplant is about seven years. In China, many organ transplant centers clearly state that the wait time is only a few weeks or even shorter. Undoubtedly, these centers have a live organ pool. Chinese people generally do not donate their bodies or body parts. Although the CCP encourages the popular practice of illegal organ harvesting from executed prisoners, the number of all executed prisoners' organs would still fall far short of the demand. Where do the donor organs come from?
Jiang Zemin ordered the 610 Office to carry out systematic genocidal policies, "ruin their reputations, bankrupt them financially and destroy them physically," "Falun Gong practitioners beaten to death are counted as suicides," "Falun Gong practitioners tortured to death are to be directly cremated without identifying them." Authorities of prisons and labor camps often subject the practitioners to unusual physical exams. Many Falun Gong practitioners have disappeared without a trace. People have good reason to suspect that massive live organ harvesting has been carried out on Falun Gong practitioners. The exposure of the Sujiatun tragedy only confirms this suspicion.
According to a veteran military doctor from the Shenyang Military Zone, the Sujiatun concentration camp (now defunct) is only one of 36 similar such concentration camps in China. Right now, most practitioners are still being held in prisons, labor camps and detention centers. These Falun Gong practitioners are sent to the camps when "occasion calls for it." The fifth-largest camp, located in Jilin's Jiutai District, holds as many as 14,000 or more Falun Gong practitioners at a time. The largest camp, codenamed "672-S," is said to hold more than 120,000 people, among whom are Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience.
Therefore, in order to expose the complete truth about the CCP's organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners and to expose its more than seven-year persecution of Falun Gong, and to obtain large amounts of evidence on the CCP's genocide and crimes against humanity, we must undoubtedly conduct deep and thorough investigations in all prisons, labor camps and concentration camps where Falun Gong practitioners are held, because those are the main places where the most horrible, unimaginable atrocities are taking place.
(Clearwisdom.net) The incident of Ms. Wang Wenyi shouting at the White House welcome ceremony generated waves of heated debate both in society and among Dafa practitioners. Right now, the overall situation is that the media is starting to widely pay attention to the persecution, but also exposed were issues related to Dafa practitioners' understandings of cultivation that have been overlooked for a long time, and things that haven't been discarded. Due to the urgency of the progress of Fa rectification, every opportunity is fleeting; therefore I would like to urgently share my understanding relevant to this incident with fellow practitioners.
First, let me start with the general society. After this incident suddenly happened, the Western media immediately focused on it, but the first batch of news reports were only limited to the surface actions people were able to see on site. They completely ignored the large background that motivated this individual action: the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s brutal persecution of Falun Gong over the past seven years; that the Falun Gong issue has been the biggest human rights problem in China for the past seven years; the crimes committed during the CCP's long-term, systematic and well-coordinated harvesting of organs from live Falun Gong practitioners and the cremation of their bodies to destroy evidence that was exposed more than one month ago; as well as the urgent and cruel fact that the CCP is speeding up the destruction of human and physical evidence related to the organ harvesting before May 1, 2006.
After the incident, many people saw the visible surface actions of Wang Wenyi reflected in the Western media's live broadcasts. Therefore, at the time, many Westerners thought from direct-viewing that it was a negative act, and was not in accordance with Falun Gong practitioners' image. Many Falun Gong practitioners took the opportunity to clarify the truth. They emphasized that although Ms. Wang's individual actions may not have appeared rational and appropriate, we should not overlook the big picture behind her act--the CCP's seven-year persecution and the shocking crime of harvesting organs from living practitioners. As numerous overseas practitioners jointly clarified the truth about the persecution, within one or two days, many positive voices appeared in Western society, including the Washington Post. More and more people are beginning to understand, support and think about this persecution.
This sudden incident has become and will remain a news focus of major Western media before it will be brought to a conclusion. May 3rd, the day when Wang Wenyi is scheduled to appear in court, is World Press Freedom Day. We have reason to believe that as long as Dafa practitioners seize the opportunity to clarify the truth about the persecution to various strata of society, Western media will only give increased positive attention to this incident.
In fact, considering the matter in and of itself objectively from ordinary society's perspective, Wang Wenyi's behavior did not constitute any threat or intimidation toward other reporters next to her, President Bush, or Hu Jintao. Who can provide evidence that President Bush and Hu clearly heard and understood her words right when she said them? Therefore, no serious charges should apply, for they would not be justified.
Looking at the live TV broadcast, although Wang Wenyi was very emotional when shouting, during the period of more than two minutes, she was only bare-handedly holding up a banner while standing there, and continuously shouting, and it's obvious that she did not have any other action in mind. People could all see that this middle-aged woman had a White House press pass, and it was only inappropriate for her to shout at that time and location; therefore, the reporters standing beside her looked at her very calmly, or turned their cameras toward her to capture the scene. No one among the crowd of reporters beside her felt threatened, and even President Bush, standing on the platform, after looking in the direction where the shouting came from, quickly and calmly said to Hu Jintao in a low voice, "You're OK," a signal for Hu Jintao to continue his speech. Although a man standing beside Wang Wenyi who appeared to be a journalist tried to cover her mouth with his hand, he stopped half-way, and he didn't look nervous, either. One Western reporter said afterwards that Wang Wenyi's mistake was that her shouting was too loud; if she'd said it in a low voice, it would have been perfectly fine, even for that occasion.
One after another media report has come out following this incident. Aside from superficial reports made right after the incident, the later reports have been very positive; they have depth as well as unique perspectives. However, the situation is still not optimistic. As of now, Western media reports have been limited to talking about Falun Gong and the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, and the US administration and most major media are still avoiding the urgent and brutal fact that the CCP is systematically harvesting human organs from living people and hastening the destruction of physical and live evidence before May 1--a crime that cannot and should not be accepted by people in any country. In order to break through this barrier set up by the old forces, the cultivation requirement for Dafa practitioners is in fact quite high. We absolutely should not take anything for granted or overlook any details; much less should we ignore cultivation of our xinxing and make efforts only from the level of doing things, instead of improving on Fa principles.

(Clearwisdom.net) Speech or action that can be called "heroic" and "extraordinary" on the human level cannot be considered the same to cultivators, because the standards for cultivators are higher than those of good people among ordinary people. From the perspective of cultivation, any extreme action that emphasizes an individual's understanding does not meet the xinxing standard of a Dafa disciple. A cultivator must oppose the persecution and clarify the facts to save people. But whatever the circumstances, a cultivator should remain rational, clear-headed and wise. This is indeed a high standard. Because cultivation is supernormal, the requirement is of course also above the level of humans. As cultivators, we need to try to meet this high standard while doing the three things.
Regarding the Fa-rectification formula, when global Dafa practitioners first started sending forth righteous thoughts in May 2001, some practitioners, either because of human attachments or a lack of understanding on the requirements for sending forth righteous thoughts, treated the formula as a slogan or words for banners and displayed it before ordinary people. Practitioners who still do not have a good understanding on this Fa principle should pay attention to this issue.
In addition, after the recent incident on the White House lawn, when some practitioners saw that many Western media and ordinary people paid attention to the issue, they said things like, "We've been handing out flyers and hosting parades for many years, and it's not been as effective as that practitioner's one shout. We need to re-examine the methods of how we clarify the truth." Some other practitioners feel that there is a hero among Dafa practitioners, and they even admire and worship her. If everyone can calm down and study the Fa, and return to the state of mind that a cultivator should have, I believe the practitioners with these kinds of thoughts will soon realize they have departed from the Fa in their views. The sooner they can correct it, the better. Otherwise it will affect the overall situation of Dafa practitioners' saving sentient beings.
We, as Dafa practitioners, have cultivated up to today. Whatever we do, we must learn to look at things from the perspective of the Fa. Only then can we meet Teacher's requirement to be mature. We should do truth-clarification work, but it doesn't mean we can take inappropriate means to do it. Something may have some positive effect, but it doesn't mean that the part that does not meet the xinxing standard of a Dafa disciple can be rationalized and sanctioned.
There are no role models or heroes among cultivators. Everything we do is xinxing cultivation and taking the Fa as the teacher. As individuals, project groups, or community-based organizations, anything we do that has a positive effect is the result of the part that meets the Fa principles, of Dafa practitioners' efforts, and of the power of Teacher and Dafa. When a practitioner does things that are not rational, if the other practitioners around him wish to treat this practitioner with compassion and truly cherish the cultivation environment, they should not compliment or worship this practitioner, but rationally remind him or her of the principles and the need to do the three things with even greater rationally. This can only be accomplished when every practitioner first looks at things from the perspective of the Fa with rationality and wisdom.
I remember a discussion with another practitioner on clarifying the truth with emotion. The practitioner said that if an article written by Dafa practitioners can use emotion to move the readers, it is usually easily accepted because ordinary people live within emotion. If they can relate to the article, then they can finish reading the article, which in turn saves them if the article also exposes the persecution. But aren't Dafa practitioners reading these kinds of articles, too? If the answer is yes, then the article is promoting emotions among Dafa practitioners and could affect many practitioners' cultivation. On the other hand, is the author clear-headed enough to use emotions just to relate to ordinary people? If that's not the case, the article could amplify his or her attachments in this respect and could affect that individual's cultivation.
Along the same lines, radical behavior is perhaps not a big problem among ordinary people. There is an audience for it among today's people. Thus, if we take a path of radical actions with a competitive mentality, or shout out slogans with strong emotions, these things at the human level may be able to move some ordinary people. But this is nothing compared with what a cultivator does when he truly knows and remembers the fundamental difference between himself and ordinary people. In addition, the irrational part in the Dafa practitioner's action will produce negative outcomes. Many other practitioners will need to pay a high cost to make up for the losses. In order to not create negative results when we are doing good deeds, we must always remember to "take the Fa as the teacher", "Compare in studying, compare in cultivation", "Accomplishing is cultivating" (Solid Cultivation, Hong Yin).
Recently in "Teaching the Fa in the City of Los Angeles," on the issue of Dafa practitioners needing "a little human courage as they were going about validating the Fa today," Teacher said, "When Dafa disciples make mistakes, they do not like to be criticized. No one can criticize them, and when someone does, it sets them off. When they are right, they don't like others bringing up things they could improve on; when they are wrong, they don't want to be criticized." "They no longer listen to any expression of disapproval or disagreement, whether it was meant out of good or ill will, was intentional or unintentional; they reject everything flat out, and even less do they examine themselves. It has gotten quite severe." Teacher said it was not our fault that we had not done well before, since Teacher left a little of it for us to cultivate. However, we must correct our mistake now, as Teacher has already talked about it. Then as practitioners, when faced with good or bad feedback in ordinary human society, whether fellow practitioners have done well or not, we must first look inside ourselves, so that we ourselves can do better in every aspect and complement other Dafa practitioners so we can be a whole. Only then can we use the precious opportunity in a timely way to better clarify the truth and save sentient beings. The above is just my personal understanding. It is not yet well thought out and I have yet to have time to organize it better. I wrote it down in hopes that it could at least remind us to be vigilant on this issue. Please correct anything that is inappropriate.
(Clearwisdom.net) March 2006 is the 12th anniversary of Teacher spreading the Fa in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China. With the utmost respect, some veteran Falun Gong practitioners in Dalian recalled the precious time when our honorable Teacher graced Dalian to spread the Fa. 12 years ago, we listened to Teacher's Fa lectures in person and witnessed the hardship Teacher has endured, as well as the miracle and profoundness of the Fa. We were enveloped in our honorable Teacher's immense compassion.
I. Teacher Steered Us onto the Cultivation Path of Falun Dafa
"Oh how many the years, looking for the master,
Finally the day has arrived to meet him.
Cultivate and return, the Fa now gained,
And follow your master to return, consummated."
("Destined Return for the Holy Fruition" in Hong Yin)
Every Falun Dafa disciple went through a unique experience of obtaining the Fa. It might have appeared to be the result of a string of coincidences, but it was actually the result of his predestined relationship with the Fa. It was Teacher who steered each one of us to Falun Dafa cultivation practice. We must cherish this precious predestined relationship that will never come again. The following are two practitioners' stories of obtaining the Fa:
A) A Predestined Relationship with Buddha Cultivation Has Been Guiding Me
I once had a dream when I was in middle school. In the dream I entered the ancient times when I was under the tutelage of a Buddhist monk in a yellow robe. Everything in the dream was very clear and deeply impressed me. As a result of the dream, I started in 1980 to visit famous mountains and Buddhist monasteries in pursuit of my teacher, but the search was in vain.
In October 1993, I went on a business trip to Anqiu, Shandong Province. At noon one day while I was in my hotel room, I saw a ray of silver light flying towards me and enter into my forehead. I immediately felt a powerful force pulling me forward at an incredible speed and leaving everything behind. Then I suddenly saw a Buddha, looking compassionate and peaceful. I was completely shell-shocked by the real vision right before my eyes. "So there really exist Buddhas and deities in this world!" I thought to myself. Feeling astonished and confused, I ran out and started making long-distance calls to my friends, asking for their opinion on this matter. Everyone told me that it was a very good thing to see a Buddha and that one would see Buddha if one truly has faith in Buddha.
Witnessing a Buddha with my own eyes completely swept away the notions of atheism and superstition that the Chinese Communist Party had installed in my head. From then on, I started to systematically read Buddhist scriptures and to memorize The Classics of Morality and Virtue (a Taoist classic text). During the upsurge of Qigong, I went to numerous Qigong classes to seek the truth, but failed each time. The strange thing was that there was always a Buddha by my side no matter which Qigong class I attended. The Buddha was gigantic and I could only see part of His face. Now looking back, I realize that it was Teacher's Fashen that had been looking after me, a disciple that had gotten lost. Our compassionate and respectful Teacher has endured numerous hardships in order to have His disciples obtain the Fa and return to their true selves.
Before the 1994 Chinese New Year, one of my classmates came from Beijing to visit me. He introduced Falun Gong to me very enthusiastically, saying Falun Gong was very popular in Beijing and had held dozens of classes with more and more people coming to learn. He especially mentioned how supernatural Master Li is. He once had the opportunity to shoot a video of Teacher teaching the exercises in Jietai Temple in Beijing. When shooting the third set of exercises, "Penetrating the Two Cosmic Extremes," there was a gust of wind blowing hard. Even those thick pine trees were swinging in the wind. My classmate said, "The wind is blowing too hard and I can't shoot anything." Teacher said to him calmly, "Tell me when you get the machine adjusted. I'll freeze the wind." Hearing this, my classmate said in his heart, "How can you freeze such big wind?" But he quickly adjusted the machine and told Teacher, "Master Li, it's all set." Hardly had he finished this sentence than the wind around Teacher was frozen. Not even a hair was puffed. However, several feet away from Teacher, the wind was still blowing hard and the pine trees were still swinging. When he was shooting the meditation exercise, the tripod tilted and the lens was not focused on Teacher. He thought it would be good if Master could move a bit to the right. Then he found Teacher, who was meditating, suddenly floating to the right, as if there was someone lifting Teacher from behind. This incident truly shocked my classmate and he felt this Master was really no ordinary person. Now looking back, it was in fact Teacher that arranged my classmate to help find Dafa and eventually obtain the Fa.
On March 27, 1994, the first Falun Gong class was held in the auditorium of the Dalian Foreign Language Institute, with about 500 people in attendance. The first day, I sat in the back. Even though I could not see Teacher clearly, the profound Fa principles Teacher taught touched my heart deeply and tears ran down my face uncontrollably. My whole body and mind bathed in the compassion of the Buddha Fa and I felt refreshed and in awe. At that time, I also felt something from the vein on the back of my right hand was snatched away and my body was purified.
The second day I sat in the second row. I got my tape recorder ready for the lecture to begin. When I looked up, Teacher was already on the stage. I was shocked to find out Teacher was exactly the same Buddha I saw in Anqiu. Wasn't Teacher the one I've been looking for and expecting for millions of years! I couldn't hold back my tears. I listened to the lecture, with tears running down my face. After the lecture, I rushed to Teacher, shouting in my heart, "Teacher, finally I found you!" Teacher was talking to some veteran practitioners from out of town. I separated the crowd and stood in front of Teacher. At that time, I didn't know the Heshi gesture, so I extended my hand and said, "Greetings Teacher!" Teacher took a look at me and shook hands with me. I stared at Teacher. That moment felt like several centuries. After I came to my senses, I rushed out of the auditorium and shouted to the sky, "I found my Teacher! I saw the real Buddha!" My predestined relationship with Buddha has been leading my heart to search for Buddha for many years. Now Teacher guided me into the cultivation of Dafa.
B) Teacher Purified My Body In order for me to Cultivate
Another practitioner talks about her special journey of obtaining the Fa.
I used to be a person suffering from numerous illnesses and on the verge of paralysis. I was diagnosed with cerebral thrombosis, a slipped disk, and other illnesses. I was hospitalized 5 or 6 times. The most advanced medical knowledge and devices could not cure my diseases.
Just when I was in despair, a friend of mind gave me a copy of China Falun Gong and Teacher's lecture audiotapes at the beginning of 1994. This friend said this Gong was really good and asked me to attend a class held half a month later in Dalian. That night my spouse finished reading the book in one sitting, and he kept saying the book was wonderful and asked me to read it. After reading the book, I also felt that was something I had never read before. I really wanted to attend Teacher's class.
The class opened on March 27, 1994. My husband carried me on his back into the auditorium. I sat on a couch, covered tightly from head to toe. I had a long jacket over me, with a quilt under me. About 10 minutes before the class began, a person in charge from the city Qigong association came to persuade us to return the tickets and leave the auditorium. I firmly resisted. My husband went backstage and found Teacher there. He briefly introduced my situation to Teacher and Teacher said, "I am not here to cure diseases." My husband said, "No, we're not here to get our illnesses healed. Half a month ago we already began to read the book and listen to the tapes. We came to learn the exercises." Teacher then said, "This student has some good enlightenment quality. Let me take a look."
Teacher then walked down the stage and came to me. I immediately stood up and Teacher asked me to sit down. Teacher gave a heavy smack on my neck followed by a soft pat. Teacher did the same thing to my head and shoulders. Then Teacher asked me to stand up and walk. When I walked a few steps, Teacher asked me to stop and then did the same thing to my legs. The whole process took no more than two minutes. At this time, Teacher said, "You're all set. Try to walk around." I walked two laps around the stage and many students stood up to applause. After I returned to my seat, several students sitting behind me said I was the most fortunate person. They had been following Teacher and attending classes several places and they never saw Teacher offer to heal people's illnesses. I said to them, "I never expected this either. I am really fortunate." After the class, Teacher asked me, "Do you feel your neck moving more smoothly?" I answered yes. Teacher also said to my husband that I would feel an electric shock when Teacher smacked my neck. In fact, I could have avoided the many operations I'd had. Teacher's words made me feel very comfortable and amicable.
After the first day's class, my husband still wanted to carry me out of the auditorium. I told him I wanted to walk on my own. After I took the first step, I felt very light in my legs. In fact, I walked all the way home. My husband again offered to carry me up to the third floor where our home is located, I said I wanted to try again. I was indeed able to climb the stairs. The second day, I was able to go downstairs and take a walk. I, a bedridden patient for such a long time, became a healthy person in just two minutes. Ordinary people would not believe this, but this is the miracle that happened to me.
After three months' cultivation, I was able to take the bus with other students to pick up Teacher and go to the class when the second class was held. Teacher said,
"We don't do healing. But if you want to do true cultivation, and you've come here with an ailing body, then you can't cultivate yet. So I have to purify your body. I only purify the body for people who've truly come here to learn the practice, who truly come to learn the Law." (Zhuan Falun)
This passage enabled me to suddenly realize that the purpose of being human is to cultivate and return to one's true self. Teacher purified my body in order for me to obtain the Fa and cultivate, not for me to remain an everyday person. It is compassionate Teacher who guided me onto the path of cultivation and becoming a cultivator of Falun Dafa.
II. The Wonderfulness of Dafa Displays Charm and Strikes Students with Awe
During the first class held in Dalian, a student was able to see many splendid scenes in other dimensions while listening to Teacher's lectures. He saw celestial guardians all over the place, along with many Fa-safeguarding gods. He was so excited that he cried. Below are the practitioner's recollections of that class.
Teacher taught the profound Fa in a very easy to understand manner. Before I had read some other scriptures and learned some other Qigong practices, but I had never heard anything this profound. No other Qigong practice explained human beings so clearly, nor had any of them explained life and the universe so in depth. Every word Teacher said was a celestial secret and moved my heart. Nothing compares to such a great Fa.
I felt more and more open-minded after listening to Teacher's Fa. It was as if my life was getting bigger and bigger and my realm getting higher and higher. All these feelings strengthened my determination to cultivate. Later I had a chance to show Teacher around Dalian. When passing by my home, I apologized to Teacher, "Teacher, sorry I did not invite you to visit my home since my house is very small and not neat." Teacher did not say anything but looked at me. Suddenly a thought hit me, "This is not your home. Your real home is truly wonderful." I felt light in my heart, as if I saw my future wonderful home.
I felt like a child when staying together with Teacher. I said whatever I wanted to say, I asked whatever I wanted to ask. Teacher always gave me satisfactory answers. No matter what difficulty I went through, Teacher always showed me the way out. I truly felt Teacher was omnipotent and Dafa was omnipotent. What Teacher gives us is all that is wonderful.
It's been years since I last saw Teacher. However, no matter what I encounter in my cultivation, I always talk to Teacher in my heart or ask Teacher questions in front of Teacher's photo. Teacher always gives me the answer. As long as I believe in Teacher and Dafa, there is no test I cannot pass. I truly feel the immense compassion of Teacher and the boundless power of Dafa.
(Clearwisdom.net) The Falun Dafa Association and Minghui/Clearwisdom have formed the "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong" (CIPFG). The Committee members insist on a full investigation of all labor camps, prisons, hospitals, and other facilities where Falun Gong practitioners are detained. The Committee has invited governmental institutions, non-profit organizations, NGOs, legislative and/or medical groups as well as other organizations from around the globe to participate and to support this effort. The purpose is to fully investigate all forced labor camps, prisons, hospitals and related facilities within China that detain Falun Gong practitioners for persecution. Thinking on the matter, I believe that the founding of this Coalition is a big step forward and may hold great significance for the following reasons:
1. This Activity will Eliminate Evil in other Dimension:
All forced labor camps, jails and prisons, and other related facilities that illegally detain Falun Gong practitioners are places where the evil still maintains control. When we focus our righteous thoughts towards these places, we can eliminate the evil in other dimension and stop the human villains from being vicious.
2. This Activity will Rescue our Fellow Practitioners:
We must rescue our fellow practitioners. We are certain that hundreds of thousands of Dafa practitioners are secretly detained in forced labor camps, jails/prisons, psychiatric hospitals and concentration camps, where they are persecuted, killed or where the villains use practitioners for live organ harvesting.
After the exposure of Sujiatun Concentration Camp, the CCP immediately went into action to cover up and destroy the evidence. After the CCP moved the detainees to another location, they invited reporters and foreign government officials for an investigation into the allegations. They hoped that everyone would fall for their ploy and be deceived. If we do a full investigation throughout China and then expose the truth to the international community, the perpetrators of the atrocities would no longer be able to hide their criminal activities. This would allow us to rescue our innocent fellow practitioners that have been detained.
3. This Activity will Clarify the Truth for Saving Sentient Beings:
Immediately after founding the Coalition to Investigate the Facts, some individuals and groups requested to be involved in all activities. Beyond that, Falun Gong practitioners in many countries will invite various groups to support and/or participate in the investigation. This is another way of clarifying the truth for saving sentient beings. The Committee, as a newly established entity, has little in the way of material resources. But, it has established principles and certain requirements. The members all have human awareness and have the righteous laws on their side. Therefore, the worlds' people will understand and accept their mission. During the process, we can save more and more people.
4. This Activity is An Opportunity for Practitioners Worldwide to Coordinate as One-Body
All Dafa practitioners are still cultivating. We all need to maintain righteous thoughts and actions. It is obvious that a full investigation of all locations detaining Falun Gong practitioners for persecution will require much help from all practitioners, which include coordination and the ability to act as one-body. Thus, this is a good opportunity to temper all Dafa practitioners.
5. This Activity is to Stop and Bring an End to the Persecution:
We know that, although the CCP is not far from total disintegration, the persecution has not ended and not all evil has been eliminated. We can't lower our guard when increasing our truth clarifying efforts. Forming the Coalition to Investigate the Facts is actively opening from the outside a window into the persecution's home base.
For seven years, Mainland China was and still is the base for the old forces' persecution of Falun Gong. Forced labor camps, jails/prisons, hospitals, secret concentration camps are places from where they manipulate the persecution. Those places set up the conditions for the inhuman persecution and make its continuation and cover-up possible, and they have continued until today.
The Coalition to Investigate the Facts is an excellent tool to contain the CCP's blockade. If we expose the evil dens and through this remove the physical locations for the crimes, the CCP will no longer dare to detain Falun Gong practitioners. This is the crucial first step to completely end the evil persecution of Dafa by the CCP. When the last vestiges of the evil are eliminated and detained practitioners are released from these dens of evil, the worlds' people that are worthy of being saved will understand the truth and all Dafa practitioners will have matured through the tempering. That is when the persecution really ends.
6. All Practitioners Globally are to Merge into One Body:
The main stage for Falun Gong practitioners is in Mainland China. Due to the forced persecution by the Old Forces, the main stage of the practitioners has been separated from the outside world. For this, practitioners inside China have suffered unprecedented and cruel trauma. It also has had a severe impact on Dafa and our mission to save sentient beings. Practitioners inside and outside China jointly coordinating and cooperating in breaking through this block is similar to the Great Heavenly Circuit of the global practitioners' body joining into the one-body in the human world.
Personally I think that this is what Dafa disciples have to reach during the Fa-rectification process. When practitioners inside China and abroad merge into one body, the time to greet Teacher back in China in an upright and dignified manner is getting closer and closer.
My personal belief is that the Coalition's full investigation of all forced labor camps, prisons, hospital and related facilities that persecute Falun Gong practitioners in China is breaking the barrier that separates us. This is a positive activity and holds great meaning.
Some of our fellow practitioners are worrying about getting into China and how to accomplish it. This is looking at the issue with human notions. It should be the evil who needs to worry and not practitioners. It is not a question of "if", but it is something we must accomplish. This will be needed for a full investigation -- to present witnesses and material evidence to the entire world is the last step in ending the persecution. When the Fa-rectification state reaches that step, the Fa will without doubt open up our wisdom.
The human world is not a place for the evil to run rampant, but a place for Dafa practitioners to save sentient beings. When all practitioners throughout the world follow the Fa's guidance and send forth the powerful Buddha Fa from the deepest recesses of their hearts, Dafa disciples' will have fulfilled their mission. In the near future, we shall end this persecution and save more people in the world.
(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, I frequently thought about the phrase "to take hardship as joy." Sometimes I could endure hardship, while other times I could not. Today, I suddenly realized that I have a huge attachment deeply buried in my heart. This is the fear of being harmed. As a result, when I encounter difficulties, I often evade them. As long as I can remember, I have been running away from difficulties.
So I asked myself whether I started to learn Falun Dafa in order to escape difficulty. Yes, I did. Yet I did not know at first what I wanted to escape from. Dafa requires practitioners to be tolerant, which became the biggest excuse I found to evade conflict. For example, when I was little, I was often bullied by others, so I learned to avoid associating with people. When I encountered a difficulty, I would evade it as much as possible. In fact, I was afraid of getting hurt through associating with other people. Meanwhile, I was not good at being with people either. When I started to learn Falun Dafa, I found that Dafa teaches practitioners to be tolerant, so I thought that my behavior of evasion was correct. Although it looked on the surface that I was always tolerant, in fact this became the biggest excuse for my unwillingness to remove the attachment of fear. However, I did not discover this shortcoming until today.
A practitioner should not act like an ordinary person. Practitioners should conduct themselves with a high standard according to Dafa. However, there is a difference between not acting like an ordinary person and being afraid to act like an ordinary person. A practitioner does not act like an ordinary person. When faced with a conflict, a practitioner will act like a cultivator and require of themselves the highest standard of tolerance. When a practitioner does not dare to associate with an ordinary person, that practitioner has the attachment of fear. However, for ten years, I have regarded my attachment of fear as being "tolerant;" therefore, I always avoided exchanging with others. Now I know that I have not been tolerant at all. In fact, I have not dared to say or do anything.
How can a practitioner possibly avoid conflict? How can a practitioner remove attachments without suffering hardships arranged by Teacher to remove our karma? For ten years, due to my avoidance of conflicts, I almost lost the chance for cultivation practice. Because I avoided conflicts at my workplace, I lost my job twice. As a result I did not have any income for about a year, which affected my daily life tremendously.
Although I found my attachment, it was not easy for me to overcome the mentality of fear. Even if the contradiction is very obvious, I must face the reality, which I did not dare to face before. Teacher said:
"If you want to return where you came from, you must have the following two factors. One is suffering. The other is enlightenment." (Lecture in Sydney, 1996)
In the past, I acted like an ordinary person because I escaped difficult environments. Now I know that I should not evade anything anymore; instead, I should face situations and kindly talk to people.
(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, because of my job, I started studying the Teachings of Confucius. I read The Great Learning (Da Xue), The Doctrine of the Mean, Analects of Confucius, and Mencius. Previously, I never knew anything about the teachings of Confucius, nor did I have a good knowledge of the ancient Chinese language or literature. However, since Falun Dafa, which I am cultivating, is the Fa of the cosmos, all righteous teachings in the world are included in Dafa. Master said:
"Let me tell you that after its cultivation reaches a very high level, Confucianism belongs to the Tao School."(Zhuan Falun)
I started to study the teachings of Confucius from a higher level. Therefore, the ideological essence in the human world seems to be so easy to understand suddenly. I easily grasped its core and within half of a year, I was able to have a complete understanding of the teaching of Confucius.
Later on, I gave a two-hour lecture in my work place. The content included: 1. The origin of the teachings of Confucius. 2. The core of the traditional culture is its moral connotation. 3. Regarding superstition. 4. History is going downhill. 5. The damage to the traditional culture. 6. The human culture after the moral degeneration of the whole world. 7. The misunderstanding of the ancient people's lives. 8. The education of scriptures, language and literature. 9. The influence of the teachings of Confucius to the world.
Prior to my cultivation, it would have been impossible for me to give this kind of lecture. I was very narrow-minded and never considered anyone else other than myself. I was attached to satisfying my own benefits.
Now, everything is different. During my cultivation and from studying the Fa, I gradually started to have a clear understanding of human culture and history. Master said:
"The entire Three Realms, including all beings in human society, were constructed, formed, came about, were born, and were created so that sentient beings could be rescued and saved amidst the Fa-rectification at the cosmos's final time." "So everything that has taken place in each of the periods in history, including recent human history, has been for the purpose of creating a culture for man, for today's mankind, so that it may understand the Fa. This was by no means intended for mankind just to live, and even less was it for mankind to develop or to make some kind of good life for itself in human society."("Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa Conference in New York")
After I studied the teachings of Confucius and Chinese history, I started to have a deeper understanding of the Fa.
While I was reading the teachings of Confucius, another side of my mind seemed to be very open, because I always have Dafa on my mind. Nothing seemed to be difficult to understand. I often was moved by something that is hard to explain with words. I felt that Dafa is so good and great and it contains everything.
My coworkers are all more educated than I am. But during their educational process, what they learned was only things in the human culture. When they said I have "profound knowledge" or thought that I am "very sharp", I told them that it was because I read Zhuan Falun. Everything is in that book. My boss also read Zhuan Falun. Once he told me that in fact the foundation of every teaching in the world is based on "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance". Before he obtained the Fa, he was interested in the ideologies of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. But after he read Zhuan Falun, he finally found what he was looking for.
Through learning Dafa, I gradually understood how a lord or king in heaven is responsible for the righteous factors in the cosmos, and how a lord or king in the human world rules the whole nation well. Through studying the Fa, I also understand how the human world is assimilating to the principles of the cosmos. That kind of society is very harmonious and wonderful and everything is going forward righteously.
Therefore, I can accept the different aspects in the teachings of Confucius, which talks of being selfless, loving, and focusing on rational education, etc. I think the Thoughts of Confucius are Thoughts with principles. If everyone would follow the thoughts of Confucius in order to rule a nation, society would also reach a decent state. In fact, the ancient politics were not as dictatorial and inhuman as the CCP culture viciously propagandizes.
Everybody can be measured by the moral standards which the thoughts of Confucius provide. "From the emperor to ordinary citizens, everyone must start to cultivate oneself. There is no exception" (The Great Learning). No matter where one stands in society, one should always follow the ethics of benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, honesty or trust and follow the principles of loyalty. If everybody followed the thoughts of Confucius, there would be harmonious relationships between father and son, brothers, friends and couples. This harmony would spread throughout the entire society. People would live together peacefully. The entire society would have a very healthy growth.
"The Doctrine of the Mean" was understood as doing things without principle. In fact, this is an incorrect understanding. "The Doctrine of the Mean" contains very strict principles, including standards for measuring righteousness and evilness, the restraints of selfish desires and benefits, the positive attitude to strive for higher education, and establishing oneself in society.
The moral standards that Confucius provided the ancient emperors with are righteous. In "The Doctrine of the Mean", it says an emperor who is governing the entire nation should respect the people. In "Analects of Confucius", it states that the focus should be on moral education when governing a nation. In "The Great Learning," it states that an emperor should pay attention to his own cultivation and behavior. It also states that virtue is the root, and wealth is like branches. Without a good root, the branches or leaves would not flourish.
Master said:
"Becoming a king, an official, wealthy, or nobility all come from virtue. No virtue, no gain; the loss of virtue means the loss of everything. Thus, those who seek power and wealth must first accumulate virtue. By suffering hardships and doing good deeds one can accumulate virtue among the masses. To achieve this, one must understand the principle of cause and effect. Knowing this can enable officials and the populace to exercise self-restraint, and prosperity and peace will thereby prevail under heaven."(Wealth with Virtue, January 27, 1995 in Essentials for Further Advancement)
I think the teachings of Confucius assimilate to the principles of the cosmos and follow heaven's will. Therefore, with the Dafa of the cosmos as our guide, even if you are a king, you can still cultivate. Because the more power a person has, the more responsibilities he or she would have to the nation or the society. That means he or she has to have very high virtue and tolerance, think about the nation and its people all the time and give up their own desires or benefits. Hence they would be cultivating.
Later, when I studied Master's "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005", Master said:
"Let me in fact go a step further. What's meant by "getting involved with politics," and what's meant by "cultivation form"? This is where a lot of people err. Suppose that I, Li Hongzhi, had chosen in this life to be an emperor and to lead a group of subjects to cultivate. Would that work? (Applause) Yes! It definitely would! As long as the Fa was upright and could truly ensure that lives elevated, and as long as the path was walked righteously, then it definitely would work!" "...You all know that along with painting there is music and sculpture. Those things and also modern science and technology are all different skills for various facets of human life. It seems as though human beings created those things themselves and did so to enrich human society, but that's actually not the case at all. What's the real reason, then? Let me tell you that those are in fact [parts of] cultivation and unique characteristics of the realms of lives from distant systems."
When I read this, suddenly my thoughts expanded. I seemed to have realized more things. My understanding of the cosmos and cultivation seemed to be clearer. But yet I couldn't explain it in words.
The thoughts of Confucius require that people have very strong self-restraint. Human beings live in the maze of ordinary human society and have qing. Often, this means that they have to suffer by giving up selfish desires. When human beings cannot exercise self-discipline and follow moral standards, they will have deviated from the teachings of Confucius. Of course the teachings of Confucius have limits as well. Let us look at Chinese history, which was arranged by the old forces. It was a history of walking downhill along with the degeneration of the old cosmos. Even the good things were not very righteous. The bad things were even worse. However, today's Chinese people are used to the negative things of history. Therefore, history seems to be more of an obstacle keeping today's people from understanding and obtaining the Fa.
After reading the teaching of Confucius, I understood that the charge of "getting political" seems to be something good to the public. For example, in 1948, an officer from the Nationalist Party, Yan Xishan gave a speech to the personnel in the Department of Education. Politics includes two issues. One is loving people, and the other one is fairness, to ensure that the elderly, the young and the lonely have a reliable source of income to live from. Therefore, the so-called "getting political" should in fact mean to do things "selflessly and for others". It should not be for satisfying one's selfish desire for power and fighting for ruling the nation. So today, people's understanding of "politics" is distorted and its meaning is deviated from the principles of the cosmos. Today's distorted political notions are an outcome of human beings' demoralization and it is also a factor that needs to be corrected soon.
Due to the CCP culture and its high political pressure, many Chinese people try to avoid "getting political" or talking about politics. People also think that the ancient Chinese emperors were complete dictators. In fact, this is due to the CCP's deceiving and enslaving the Chinese people. They purposefully defamed and falsified ancient Chinese history.
As a result of the CCP's destroying the Chinese traditional culture, today's Chinese people do not really know their own history anymore and are unclear about their own future too.
Because of my job, I had to study "politics". But as a practitioner, I don't have any interest in "politics". Whether it is an individual, a group or a nation, as long as they assimilate to the principles of the cosmos and follow heaven's will, they will last long and have a good future. Their existence is not realized by "political means". During the five thousand years of China's history, the most prosperous dynasty only lasted for a short period. So the most important thing the CCP should think about is not whether they can have the right to rule China forever, it should reflect on what it brought to this nation and the people. This evil party has been against the universe since its birth. Although the old forces gave it life, they did not give it hope and a future. In the human world, it has been standing on Chinese soil and killing Chinese people's minds. In the persecution of Falun Gong, it ruined Chinese people's futures. It did not accept the chances Dafa gave it. Therefore, it has to be eliminated. The choice the CCP made in this critical moment in the cosmos's history is so shameful and truly a pity! It is like a speeding car with malfunctioning brakes, driving towards the edge of a cliff, honking its horn.

On that day, a very stubborn person, helped by Teacher's compassion and practitioners' righteous thoughts and actions, eventually broke through the control of the evil spirit of the Communist Party and chose a bright future for herself.
Many people have thought it very difficult to save their relatives. I had spent lots of time and energy on trying to save my daughter and convince her to quit all the organizations of the Chinese Communist Party. On almost every Sunday since 2005, I tried to find time to talk with her. She was often very busy with her job and, whenever she was free, tried her best to avoid me. Sometimes when my granddaughter was present, I had to take extra precautions to not allow my daughter's attitude and words to negatively influence her. (My granddaughter had already quit the Young Pioneers of the Chinese Communist Party.) Under such a situation, I missed many opportunities to talk with my daughter. I felt that there was not much time left. I tried to talk with her alone, but she refused to listen and even threw things and cursed several times. It was so difficult.
I read every article published on "Minghui Weekly" about how to clarify the truth and advise people to quit from all the organizations of the Chinese Communist Party. Though I sent forth righteous thoughts, I still could not see good results in my daughter's situation. Once, as soon as I started, my daughter suddenly flew into a rage and yelled, "I am so angry, I will call 110 (i.e. call the police)!" I sent forth righteous thoughts to clear away the dark minions and rotten demons. I left when I saw she had calmed down. I encountered similar responses when clarifying the truth to my other relatives. Even a relative who seemed to have good manners became angry. I often wondered, "What should I do?"
I carefully studied the Fa Teacher taught on this issue. Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005":
"Don't worry about what they say, [but] every word that you say is like a thunderclap to them."
I thought that, although I could not talk much with her, one truly righteous sentence out of my mouth could destroy the evil elements controlling her. As told in the well-known story "The Foolish Old Man Moves Mountains," the day will come when the evil elements are all eliminated. One day when I was at her home, I told everyone present, "On August 14, 2001, the International Education Development Organization said at a meeting with the United Nations that the 'Tiananmen Self Immolation' was staged to frame Falun Dafa." After saying that, I left.
Sometimes when I tried to clarify the truth to my daughter, some people tried to dissuade me, saying, "Since she will not listen to you, you should not talk with her about it." I said, "I cannot. I cannot be irresponsible to her. How could I simply watch her lose her future?" As a practitioner, if I cannot even save people close to me, my relatives, then I cannot fulfill my duty. If every practitioner saves a hard-to-save person, the total number of saved people would be huge. Since then, every time after I sent forth righteous thoughts, I would again focus on clearing away the evil elements controlling her.
On another Sunday morning, I went to my daughter's home to clarify the truth. Just before I spoke, my daughter said, "Don't talk to me. I had a bad dream: you were arrested in my dream." I understood that I should compassionately negate the attitude in my daughter's words. Doing this, I could also negate the evil forces. When clarifying the truth to save sentient beings, I should do so with courage and calmly, not worrying too much about the listener's attitude. I should remove this worry. So with a pure heart truly concerned for the good of others, I thought to myself, "I am here to save you, not to beg you."
When clarifying the truth another time, I said to my daughter beforehand, "I have a request before our talk. I hope you will not interrupt me before I finish talking." This time my daughter's attitude showed an obvious change. Although she said, "I don't care if my life has a future or not," she patiently listened to me until I finished.
After clarifying the truth to her, I thought there were still places I needed to improve. After reading an experience sharing essay in the Minghui Weekly, I thought the practitioner did very well. The person the author talked to said in the end, "Then I will quit the Communist Party for my life's bright future." I decided that the next time I talked with my daughter, I would tell her that to quit from the CCP is to choose a beautiful future.
Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005":
"Give it a try and see, is it still like before? Even if it is, you have to carve out a space via the strength of your righteous thoughts, right?"
Keeping Teacher's words in mind, I felt strong and maintained righteous thoughts. I was determined to save my daughter and other relatives who seemed hard to save.
Another opportunity came. One day my daughter got home from work early. I sent forth righteous thoughts for 20 minutes. Bringing with me a statement concerning quitting the CCP's organizations that I had written in the morning and some related materials, I went to my daughter's house with the determination to change the current situation. As soon as I started, my daughter said, "I don't want to listen, forget it." I stopped for a while and sent forth righteous thoughts and sincerely asked Teacher to please help me. At the same time, I told my granddaughter in a whisper, "Please help Grandma to send forth righteous thoughts." Then I went back and sat down next to my daughter, picked up a flyer calling for people to quit the CCP and read, "'I happily quit the CCP and had a wonderful Chinese New Year!' The Chinese New Year is coming. If you quit the CCP, I won't need to be so worried about you."
Although my daughter replied, "I don't want you to worry about me," her voice was very calm. I said, "We Falun Gong practitioners speak the truth. According to the celestial climate, the CCP will fall. Would any practitioner claim this without reason? China has more than 5,000 years of history. After one dynasty fell, another arose. In early 2005, 50 CCP members announced they were quitting the CCP in The Epoch Times. So far, over nine million people having quit the CCP and its related organizations. Such a huge number! It reflects the celestial climate, it is heaven's will." My daughter said, "It is not my business." I said, "It is closely related to everyone. And it is so important that it will determine a person's life or death. I cannot emphasize it enough. Otherwise, I wouldn't need to talk with you about it."
I talked with her about the recent news that a certain person had killed two people. This shocked people. Yet the CCP has killed 80 million Chinese people. Shouldn't it pay for its crimes? The CCP cannot escape heaven's law that we must pay what we owe: you will pay with your life if you kill another person; you will pay with money if you owe any debt. If people won't themselves take action to fulfill the principle, then the heavens will. Good people will be saved if they quit the CCP. This is the way to save people. I also told her, "No matter who wants to quit the CCP, we will help to protect his/her identity. We won't reveal his personal information to others. For their safety, people can use fake names to quit the CCP. We are cultivators without any pursuit of loss or gain in the world; we are truly saving people." My daughter said, "I don't need you to save me." My granddaughter heard her say this and became so anxious that she almost cried. At this moment, my daughter said with a smile, "In that case, you can help me to write a declaration to quit the CCP and its organizations." I suggested that she use a fake name and then sincerely write her name on the solemn declaration to quit the CCP. I said in my heart, "Thank you, Master. Thank you for helping me to save a life. It is not easy!"
When writing about these experiences, I suddenly understood why it is so hard to save my own relatives. It is because I myself did not have stable righteous thoughts and was attached to strong affection. Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A:."
"As I've said, everything that happens today in the ordinary society is the result of Dafa disciples' thoughts."
Every thought of a practitioner must be with the Fa.

(Clearwisdom.net) I obtained the Fa on January 16, 2006. I had experienced many things in 2005 and had difficulties passing through tribulations in my heart. The year 2005 proved to be the turning point of my life.
On the evening of January 16, 2006, I was at a point in my life where the pressures on me were so great that I truly felt the misery of life. While sadly sinking down into my sofa, I suddenly had a thought: "Read Zhuan Falun!"
I spent the next four nights reading the nine lectures with a very calm and sober mind. Over the next few days, I kept recalling in my mind the principles in the book. When I read the book again I found the answers to all the questions I had about the principles. This kind of feeling was really marvelous! From that time on, I browsed Clearwisdom every day. When I started to read the book the third time, from the first and second lectures I understood some more principles that I had not seen before. I realized that the effect of reading was not determined by how many times you read, but whether or not you were truly single-minded, both physically and mentally.
The more I read Master's teachings, the more I feel that this book could in no way be written by an average man. If viewed just from human logic, Master is harmonious, accommodating everything, and also able to foretell the future while elaborating on the principles. I also really like to read the articles written by fellow practitioners on Clearwisdom. Many practitioners' righteous thoughts often moved me to tears. There was no grievance in the tears, but they were for the many things I cannot fully articulate.
Just a moment ago, when I read the ninth paragraph of a practitioner's story "Let Go of Life and Death and You Can Do Anything": "In my 10 days of isolation, more than 70 officers out the 87 in the brigade supervised me or..." the texts below until the end of the article were completely turned into corrupted codes. I was very eager to finish reading the whole article, so I kept refreshing the Web page. But it was no use. I restarted the anti-internet blockade software and it was still not working. I continued reloading the page while I browsed through other articles. When I went back again it still had corrupted codes. At that moment, my heart became very upset. With a hand gesture of 'heshi,' I anxiously asked Master to help me remove the bad codes. After a while, I browsed back and found the corrupted codes had disappeared. I was so happy that I burst into tears. Yet I felt something was wrong. After re-checking, I found it was not that article I was looking for. Browsing back, I saw it still had corrupted codes. I was disheartened and thought that there must be something wrong in my heart.
Yes! Wasn't my anxiousness to finish reading the article a big loophole? How could Master help me make the loophole bigger by helping fix the problem? My mindset of requesting Master to help me and then hurrying back for verification - wasn't this a real manifestation of doubt? Suddenly, my mind became very, very quiet. As usual, I spoke with Master in my heart: "Master! I'm your child. If you could help me to eliminate the old forces, that would be great; if the codes are still corrupted, then I will read other articles." Immediately, I started to feel a kind of intermittent pressure at the top of my head. Yet I didn't pay attention to it and continued to read other articles. After a while, I turned unconsciously back to this article again. It was very clear, without a single corrupted code. I read through the article with a very tranquil mind. After that, I picked up a pen and wrote this article.
Precious fellow practitioners: The Fa and principles are all encompassing and accommodating. There is awakening within truths. The maze is not formidable; it is only difficult if the mind is not tranquil.

At locations where Hu had to pass by, practitioners displayed huge banners which read "Bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to Justice", "Thoroughly Investigate Chinese Labor Camps and Prisons' Persecution of Falun Gong" and "Falun Dafa is a Righteous Way". The banner display was well-organized and very eye-catching.

Outside Sprague Hall, practitioners not only unfurled banners but also displayed numerous truth-clarifying posters to tell the pedestrians, police on-duty and the "Welcoming corps" organized the Chinese Communist regime about the beauty of Falun Dafa, the brutal 7-year persecution and the inhuman crime of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Media Focus on Falun Gong
All major media outlets including Reuters, AP and the largest local TV station were very interested in practitioners' activities. Reporters not only looked through the banners and posters, many also chatted with practitioners. When they saw practitioners peacefully sending forth righteous thoughts, reporters in succession took photos of the site.
A reporter from AP interviewed practitioner Lucy, who said that she and more than 100 other practitioners came from New York City to send their message to Hu Jintao: stop the killing of Falun Gong practitioners. Lucy also recounted the CCP's crime of harvesting organs from living practitioners and then cremating the remains to destroy the evidence. She emphasized that phone interviews by Sound of Hope Radio recorded confirmation from Chinese doctors that their organs were from Falun Gong practitioners. The reporter was shocked by the exposed massacre. Lucy also told the reporter that their appeal is not only to Hu Jintao but also to everyone, hoping all kind-hearted people will learn the truth of Falun Gong and help end the persecution.
Fox 19 interviewed Jane Dai from Australia and American citizen Charles Lee. Dai recounted how her husband was beaten to death by the Chinese Communist regime in July 2001; Charles Lee recounted his experience of 3 years in a Chinese prison where he was subjected to torture and brainwashing.
David Funkhouser of the Hartford Courant interviewed Jane Dai. In his report, David reported Dai's story and also wrote:
"A woman from Munich, Germany, stopped a reporter and said, "You're from America. I need your support. I'm from Germany. I need your support."
She was holding a poster with a picture of an emaciated prisoner tortured in a Chinese prison, with the words "Chinese Concentration Camp Sells Human Organs for Huge Profit."
As she spoke, tears began rolling down her face."
Clarifying the Truth to Passersby
Practitioners were out on the major streets of the Yale campus before 7 a.m. They unfurled banners and displayed truth-clarifying posters and repeatedly clarified the truth to the Chinese welcome party holding the Communist regime's blood-red flag. Some practitioners read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party aloud for these Chinese, and sure enough, some were listening and pondering.
Many passing-by westerners also received a special pamphlet which detailed how the Chinese Communist regime has been widely harvesting organs from living practitioners and then cremating their bodies in the past several years. After learning the truth, many westerners told practitioners: You have done a good thing, keep it up.
A westerner asked a practitioner how to obtain a copy of Zhuan Falun. He said that he was practicing Taichi and was very interested in Falun Gong. The practitioner then told me to visit www.falundafaorg.
Police officers on duty were also touched by practitioners' persistent and peaceful spirit. One asked a practitioner to give him a copy of the pamphlet and offered to hold the banner for the practitioner momentarily. Other officers chatted with practitioners to find out more about the truth.
Around 1p.m., Hu's motorcade left Yale and passed by practitioners' giant banners. On Rainbow Road adjacent to the Yale airport, there were also some practitioners displaying banners. When Hu's motorcade passed by, practitioners shouted "Falun Dafa is good" and "Stop the persecution of Falun Gong". The motorcade had no way of hiding from the "Thoroughly Investigate Chinese Labor Camps and Prisons' Persecution of Falun Gong" banners and practitioners' outcries before it entered the airport.
A policeman who was on duty on the street said that he had read news about Falun Gong every day during Hu's visit, and therefore he had learned about the practice and many facts about the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong.
(Clearwisdom.net) On April 18, 2006, while Canadian Prime Minister Harper was discussing related issues of day-care policy in a community center of Burnaby, British Columbia, practitioners of Vancouver unfurled banners and displayed posters along the streets and areas near the community center that the Prime Minister would pass by to call on the Canadian government and society to pay attention on the 7-year persecution of Falun Gong and the recently revealed urgent situation in China involving the removal of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. The Prime Minister later indicated that human rights are universal and the administration will bring up the issue with the Chinese Government on an appropriate occasion. The Prime Minister waved to practitioners when leaving the community center.

Practitioners put up two banners which read "Please help stop the persecution against Falun Gong" and "Please investigate the CCP's Atrocities of Harvesting Organs from Living Falun Gong Practitioners in Forced Labor Camps". Meanwhile, they also passed out fliers to the public to raise awareness of the atrocities.
Practitioner Ms Zhao said: "We come here on behalf of all Falun Gong practitioners to expose the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong and to call on the international community to pay close attention to the crimes of harvesting organs from living practitioners in the forced labor camps."
"I hope that the Canadian government will act according to conscience and justice to help us stop the persecution." She added.
Ms Zhao also said: "Primer Minister Harper has seen our banner."
"When he arrived at the community center, he waved to the crowd. When leaving, while his car passed our banners, I waved to him, and he waved back to us." She said.
In a press conference held the same day, Prime Minister Harper said that he had heard of the issue whereby Falun Gong practitioners' organs had been stolen for profit in China. He stressed that the Canadian government is very concerned with human right violations around the world and his administration will bring up those issues with Chinese officials on an appropriate occasion.
Ms. Welsh, who was invited to meet with the Prime Minister, was shocked upon hearing of the atrocities in China. She said: "I am a nurse, (I think that) this incident is very severe."
She also stated that people should try their best to let those countries (Chinese Communist regime) know that the atrocities are not the behavior of civilized human beings.
(Clearwisdom.net) During the Chinese Communist head's visit to the U.S., many Taiwanese practitioners flew to Washington D.C. to protest and condemn the persecution of Falun Gong and call for action to end the atrocities. Among them, were engineers, architects, schoolteachers, civil servants and housewives. Most of them had to take vacation time and they all had to pay for the trip on their own.

Washington D.C.: Taiwan practitioners joined others to support ten million Chinese who have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations
When asking for vacation time in order to participate in the activities in the U.S., one practitioner's boss was initially unwilling to allow her to go as he believed that she might run into trouble. The practitioner then told him: Falun Gong practitioners in China are being murdered every day and she has to urgently appeal to the world to pay attention to the persecution. In the end, her boss approved her request and even reminded her to hurry up so that she wouldn't miss her airplane.
Taxi Driver: You Have Come to Change this World
To save money, Taiwanese practitioners all stay in hotels in suburban areas which are quite far from downtown. They always leave very early in the morning and come back to their hotels very late. Some even missed subway or transit buses because they stayed very late outside the hotel where Hu Jintao stayed.
Once, several practitioners had to take a taxi. They then started to recite Master Li's teachings. The driver was very curious and asked what they were doing. A practitioner said: We are reciting Falun Dafa teachings and we are all Falun Dafa practitioners. The driver came from Ethiopia and was a Christian. The practitioner told him: Just like your effort to read and recite Bible, we read and recite Falun Dafa teachings. The practitioner also told him the benefit of Falun Dafa and their cause at the capital.
The driver asked: "Will your efforts work? There are so many things alike happening in many countries every day and nobody cares." The practitioner told him: "Being silent in the face of atrocities is to acknowledge them. Everyone should do their best to expose the persecution and such efforts will also give great encouragement to the victims.
Another practitioner told the driver that she had come to Washington D.C. five times using her own money. The driver was very impressed and expressed his respect to practitioners' unselfish spirit.
After the conversation, he concluded loudly: "You have come to change this world! This society is so indifferent with little sympathy. So many people are selfish and only Falun Gong can these good things."
Chinese Discard the Chinese Communist Regime's Red Flag
Whenever they meet Chinese people, Falun Gong practitioners always want to tell them more about the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong so that they won't be misled by the CCP' propaganda. Once, a practitioner clarified the truth to a group of Chinese who were there to welcome Hu. The practitioner told them about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and asked them if they had read it. One young fellow said that he had read the commentaries twice. The practitioner then asked him: "Have you quit the party?" The young man said: "Not yet."
The practitioner then told him about the murderous history of the regime and the atrocities of harvesting organs from living practitioners. The practitioner then asked a follow-up question: "Why would you still do things for the evil party?" The young man immediately discarded the regime's red flag and left.
There was another scene: When practitioners were reading the Nine Commentaries for these Chinese, one could tell that they were listening attentively though they remained silent. After listening to the reading for a while, their angry faces often softened and they started to talk with practitioners. Quite a few young students quit the Young Pioneers on site.
The CCP even dispatched people to monitor these Chinese. Realizing the Chinese who were in touch with practitioners had learned the truth on day one, the Embassy either replaced them with others or tried to brainwash them. The Embassy even claimed that practitioners got paid for standing there seven hours a day and repeated various lies about Falun Gong.
If I am paid to protest..
When practitioners protested outside the Chinese Embassy, many westerners honked gently when their vehicles passed by and some rolled down their windows with thumbs up to show their support.
There were of course a group of "welcomer" Chinese waiting for Hu's delegation. While they were relaxing in the park outside the Embassy, out of compassion, several practitioners tried to clarify the truth to them. One lady then asked: "How much do you get paid for protesting here? One practitioner answered: "If I were being paid to protest, why would I work so hard to clarify the truth to you while the "boss" is not here. Why would we hold banners and posters in the baking sun? We would just take this opportunity to relax as you are doing. We came here to tell you sincerely that Falun Dafa is good and please don't be deceived by those lies." She nodded in agreement.
Bus Pulls Over Safely With One Tire Lost
The trip to Washington D.C. was arranged in less than one week. Many practitioners had to make several connections to get to New York City. They then took buses to get to the Capital. During experience sharing, we learned that one bus was driving at high speed on the freeway and one tire suddenly came off. At that very moment, one practitioner with celestial eye opened saw Master's law body start to drive the bus and pull it over safely. None of the passengers felt any abnormal change and the bus driver didn't even know that he had lost a tire before he went out to inspect. The practitioner then told him and others what happened, and many passengers exclaimed: Master Li just saved the lives of all the people in the bus.
Unfurling Banners Outside the Hotel Where the Chinese Officials Stayed

On the evening on April 19, around 10 p.m., more than 100 Chinese communist officials showed up outside their hotel where practitioners had been waiting for a long time. The practitioners then started to shout aloud: "Falun Dafa is good, stop the persecution and bring the criminals to justice." The officials were shocked and didn't know what to do upon seeing so many practitioners. They stared at practitioners' banners and listened to practitioners' outcries. At that moment, some practitioner unfurled banners at a site about 2 meters from these officials and called loudly at them: Stop the persecution of Falun Gong. By this time, these officials were already surrounded by practitioners.

On the morning of April 20, Taiwan practitioners once again came to the hotel to protest. One westerner stayed in front of the posters for a long time. One practitioner then told him about the urgent situation in China: Sources revealed that the Chinese Communist regime is now trying to massacre Falun Gong practitioners before May 1 in order to destroy evidence of its crimes. Consequently, many hospitals in China are working over time to perform organ transplant operations. The practitioner showed him many materials. The gentleman said that he would study them carefully.
When the practitioner gave him a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, he was very happy, as he disliked the CCP. When he learned how the CCP kills Falun Gong practitioners, he said "I am sorry!" to practitioners because his company was in charge of receiving these Chinese officials and he was their driver.
The practitioner told him: That is OK because this is your job.
The gentleman also said that he would share these materials with his ex-girlfriend who works in a UN human rights organization and ask her to help practitioners. In the end, he said that he wanted to learn Falun Gong and asked where he could attend a class. The practitioner told him that Falun Gong offers free teaching and he could contact local practitioners to learn the exercises for free. He was very happy.
Before leaving, he said that he would ask the Chinese officials--his passengers--if the persecution was true.
"If they say 'yes', I will say: 'I feel ashamed for you'," The driver told the practitioner.
(Clearwisdom.net) Since 10:00 a.m. on April 15, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Taidong have meditated in Taidong County Stadium, participating in the 24-hour simultaneous hunger strike in ten countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Practitioners expressed that they aimed to raise people's awareness by doing meditation while holding a hunger strike. They hoped the public would join in condemning the Chinese Communist regime's savage atrocities of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in all forced labor camps and harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners also collected signatures on the spot to request the international community to conduct a thorough investigation into the shocking situation.

Citizens: The CCP's atrocities are a disgrace to civilized society
Since the revelation of the live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in the CCP's secret Sujiatun Concentration Camp last month, recently, it was learned that the CCP authorities have relocated all detained practitioners and are carrying out a large-scale killing of detained practitioners after harvesting their organs in forced labor camps throughout China.
Many citizens were shocked after seeing the photos depicting Falun Gong practitioners being mercilessly killed. Ms. Zhang said, "It's too cruel!" "It's a shame to have such a thing occurring in modern civilized society." She immediately signed her name and also found her husband to come to sign his name.
Children: What is the CCP? It's so cruel!
Students attending the football match among middle and elementary schools at the stadium also came to watch. They felt it unbelievable while looking at photos and reading explanations on the posters. They earnestly wanted to learn why such things occurred.
A student asked after listening to the practitioners' explanation, "What is the Chinese Communist Party? Why is it so cruel? Too horrible!" Their pure hearts seem to be unable to understand and imagine why Mainland China under the CCP's rule is different from free and democratic Taiwan.
Many principals also came to sign the petition. They admired Falun Gong practitioners' courage to safeguard their belief. When practitioners expressed gratitude for their righteous support, they said, "This is a righteous thing to do." A postman said, "It's easy to sign my name, but it is very meaningful. Certainly I'll do it."

Exposing the CCP's evil deeds can rescue people
Falun Gong practitioners who participated in the hunger strike expressed their concerns:
Ms. Lin: "I hope more people can understand and participate, a righteous signature can rescue people, can make the world different."
Mr. Ou, who is a teacher said, "I want to let more of my colleagues at school learn about this big event. My wife and I will participate in an April 23 big parade to support the 10 million Chinese people renouncing the vile CCP."
Mr. Chen said, "While doing sitting meditation, I'm moved. I feel my heart is together with that of practitioners in Mainland China."
Ms. Lan said, "All Falun Gong practitioners overseas will try their best to expose the vile CCP's atrocities to the public. This is not only for Falun Gong practitioners, but for all Chinese people and for humanity."

Rescuing people is like fighting fire, the international community should urgently investigate
Outside the stadium, there happened to be many fire trucks and ambulances. A father and son held a big poster standing at the entrance. They said, "Ambulances are used for urgent rescue of people, but the CCP uses them as a tool to transmit organs for profit after having killed people. Doctors and nurses are originally angels to rescue people, but are threatened and enticed by the CCP to work as murderers to kill people. The police are those who protect people, but are used by the CCP as hatched men to torture and kill good people. This is the society ruled by the CCP. Falun Gong practitioners who are being detained in different facilities in China are facing the threat of having their organs harvested and being killed at any moment. They need urgent help. We hope all kind and righteous people in the world will pay attention to this matter, and request the international community to urgently investigate and stop the inhuman atrocity happening now."
Innocent people slaughtered, Heaven also cries
While practitioners were on hunger strike, it was raining. An elderly man said, "The CCP has never changed its brutal nature. It uses extremely inhuman and barbaric atrocities to treat innocent people, against Heaven's principles. Heaven also cries!"
(Clearwisdom.net) The Banqiao Women's Labor Camp in Tianjin City is a living hell. On January 16, 2006, when Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Ping was sent there, she was a very healthy, newly graduated from college young lady, but she is dying now. She doesn't have any energy and she cannot get up from bed.
Ms. Li was deprived of sleep, forced to stand a long time, and locked in a solitary confinement cell under strict monitoring for a long time. Li Ping has been tortured inhumanly. The persecutors did not even let her drink water or eat. There are four inmates watching her. They gave her only a piece of bread as a meal, but not any vegetables or anything to drink. Li Ping is very thin, and her lack of energy is due to malnutrition.
Ms. Li Ping shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" The guards ordered the drug addicted prisoners to slap her face. Ms. Li Ping is being tortured inhumanly because she firmly keeps her righteous faith. From March 3, 2006 to this day, Ms. Li Ping has been on a hunger strike to protest the long-term mental and physical tortures. She cannot get out bed, has a blurry mind, and is anemic. Ms. Li is being force-fed. On March 26, 2006, her family visited her. Ms. Li Ping was carried out by her monitors; there was no chair, and her family members barely finished several sentences while they were standing there, before she was carried back. Her eyes were closed, and she didn't have any energy to talk at all.
Everyone should have human feelings, but the guards' office head, Liu Yuxia (female) and guard Li Wenjing (female, in charge of watching Ms. Li Ping) have hearts of stone. No matter how much Li Ping's family requested that they release her, they always replied, "She is not sick enough to be released! We do not take responsibility if she dies."
Ms. Li Ping wrote a letter on March 2, 2006, but it arrived at her home on April 13, 2006. There is only a 40-minute driving distance between her home and the labor camp. This letter traveled for 42 days within the same city. There was no response to Ms. Li Ping's appeal letter. According to Chinese Communist Party regulations, she was allowed to appeal within 60 days of her being sentenced to forced labor.
We urgently call on all people to please help rescue Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Ping! Time is running out!
(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, a friend of mine emailed me some news from the overseas media. The news was about public security officers from the electric plant in Huozhou City (Shanxi Province) who were illegally searching Falun Gong practitioners' houses and torturing them for information. After reading this, I felt that the news reported was just the tip of the iceberg. During the last few years, I and my co-workers learned of numerous shocking stories about the persecution during our interviews. In this remote province, many people have been persecuted for practicing Falun Gong, many families have been broken apart, and many people have died. The following are just few examples.
In Yuncheng Forced Labor Camp (Shanxi Province) many Falun Gong practitioners should have had a chance to see their families at the Chinese New Year of 2006, but the labor camp officials took this opportunity to torture them and their families. They allowed Falun Gong practitioners' families to come to the labor camp, but when the families were there, the labor camp didn't allow the families to see the practitioners face to face. Instead, they made the practitioners see the families from the back. Then they ended the visits and claimed that this or that practitioner didn't maintain good behavior in the labor camp, so he or she could not meet with the family members. If they wanted to meet with their family, then they would have to write the "guarantee letter" and slander Falun Gong. A practitioner whose last name is Zhang has been jailed there seven times and hasn't seen his family for two years. Practitioner Pan Jing's wife came to visit her husband. She was taken to the visiting room, was forced to take off her clothes, and was sexually harassed by a guard for thirty minutes. She endured the harassment in order to see her husband, but then she was not allowed to see him. She cried at home. If her neighbor hadn't talked her out of it, she would have killed herself.
On November 30, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners Lu Ming and his wife started a hunger strike to protest the torture in a detention center in Datong City, Shanxi Province. The guards and seven criminals force-fed them. The torturers inserted plastic tubes into their throats, and then pulled them in and out, back and forth several times. Sometimes they even poked into their bronchiole. Blood sprang out from their noses and mouths. Lu Ming and his wife passed out several times. One week later, they were transferred to another secret prison.
In August 2004, under the chief of the CCP's Political and Judiciary Committee in Shanxi Province, Du, the public security bureau in Taiyuan City (the capital of Shanxi) installed a powerful surveillance and spying system. This system spied on every online computer in the city, and it focused on Falun Gong practitioners' activities. It can spy on and look for a practitioner's physical address, once it detects a practitioner's action on the Internet. In one year alone, more than 100 cases related to practitioners' activities were found by this system. A woman practitioner named Fenglin from Jici City was identified by this system when she was on the Internet. Policemen pretended to be practitioners and talked to her online, saying they wanted to share their cultivation experiences with her at some place. When she got there, she was arrested. Fenglin was first jailed in a detention center and later transferred to the women's prison in Shanxi. The chief of the prison, Li, talked to her directly, and ordered a female guard to administer some unidentified drug. After having that drug, Fenglin's mind became very unclear, and she wrote more than twenty guarantee letters and repentance letters. The prison posted her repentance letters everywhere in the prison to brainwash others. According to Fenglin's family, she felt very bad about it. After being released, Fenglin suffered a mental collapse and could not recognize her own family.
Normal, healthy Falun Gong practitioners were sent to a mental hospital. In the mental hospital in the Changzhi area, every practitioner was tortured by three different means. The first one was beatings. Guards and criminals beat the practitioners badly. The second torture used was a mind-altering drug. The guards used "avoiding violent behavior" as an excuse and forced everybody to take the mind-altering drugs, which made practitioners' minds unclear. The guards then asked them to write the repentance letters. The third one was sleep deprivation. Some practitioners were not allowed to sleep for 24 hours, 36 hours and sometimes even 48 hours. It's much easier to brainwash a person who hasn't slept for a long time. For women practitioners, there was a fourth torture--rape. In the mental hospital in the Changzhi area, a 19-year-old girl, Xiao Yi, was raped 14 times in 3 nights. The rapists burned her breasts and private parts with cigarettes. Some young and pretty Falun Gong practitioners who were mentally healthy were driven to mental collapse by being raped many times.
There is a brainwashing center for Falun Gong practitioners at a place called Pangquangou, which is close to Beiwudang Mountain. It was built as a "key national security project" after a national security conference was held in Taiyuan City. The secretary of the CCP's committee in Shanxi, Zhang Baoshun, the deputy secretary of the CCP's committee in Shanxi, and the governor of Shanxi Province, Yu Youjun, were the direct leaders of this project, which was code-named the "058 Center." We directly or indirectly learned about several shocking incidences of persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in this center, including poking practitioners' faces and bodies with needles. The practitioners were forced to take off their clothes and stand in the cold weather and have cold water poured on them, and the guards incited criminals to beat them. The practitioners were forced to curse the founder of Falun Gong every day and tear or destroy Falun Dafa books. They were also forced to slap each other, and they were chained next to the toilet with their heads facing the toilet.
According to the deputy-chief of the Provincial Prison Management Bureau, Zhou, there are 289 confirmed death cases of practitioners in Shanxi. They were beaten to death. I don't know the numbers in other provinces, but this number is already very high. It represents a lot of lives. As reporters, we thought about writing to some departments in the Central Committee of the CCP, and we also thought about reporting those persecution cases to the headquarters of our newspaper in Beijing. We even hoped that those persecutions were committed by local guards and policemen, and that the CCP central committee leaders didn't know about it. But our supervising department in the CCP committee in Shanxi Province wouldn't allow us to report them. They also did not allow us to write to the department in the CCP central committee.
To be honest, most of the reporters don't dare to do so. Many people are afraid of losing their jobs, incomes, and comfortable lives, and they are afraid that they themselves and their families will be persecuted. However, we do have a conscience after all, and we do have some degree of justice. We will announce to the whole world that maybe we don't agree with Falun Gong practitioners on some of their concepts and ways of doing things, and maybe we don't practice Falun Gong, but we are absolutely against the mental and physical persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and the human rights violations.
Meanwhile, we also hope that in the future trials, people will separate us from those who committed the evil deeds and separate us from the evil system. So, I decided to tell the public the truth I know. To protect those victims, all the names mentioned in this article were changed, but the stories are true. Due to limitations, I cannot write about all that I learned, neither can I provide some pictures I took of the persecution. I can only ask friends for help to publish this article. I only hope more people will learn the truth, and the international media will put more pressure on those evil policemen to stop torturing kind people. Maybe one day I will face the international media and tell them everything I know, as Mr. Chen Yonglin did in Australia.

As of March 17, 2006, more than 2,844 persecution-related deaths of Falun Gong practitioners have been verified and published on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website. A further 1,200+ deaths have been reported, but not yet verified. Many more practitioners were illegally arrested and have disappeared. What has been exposed is only a tiny part of the persecution.
Torture-related deaths are spread over more than 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China. Among the victims, about 55% were women, and about 59% were over 50 years of age. They came from all walks of life. Some were savagely tortured to death; some died as a result of injections with toxic substances; some were pushed off buildings; some were deliberately run over by cars; some were burned to death, some were dragged to death behind racing motorcycles; some had their organs removed while still alive; some were tortured to the brink of death and passed away soon after they were released from detention.
On March 8, 2006, an informant from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) exposed the atrocities that took place inside the Sujiatun Concentration Camp, which shocked the world. The CCP is completely devoid of humanity in its fanatic genocide of Falun Gong. People can't help but ask, "Aside from harvesting organs from the living, how many more crimes remain hidden?"

3. Terrifying Brutalities and Murder
3.1 Incidents of Violence Against Members of the Same Family
The CCP and Jiang's state-sanctioned terrorism persecution against Falun Gong has broken up countless happy families. Some families lost several members. The survivors live with daily great anguish.
The ordeal of a family of Dafa practitioners in Wuhan City
This is an ordinary family. The parents repair bicycles; the oldest son is a freelance sculptor; the younger son works in a company, and the daughter is unemployed. The family lived a serene and happy life. Within two months, however, two family members died as a result of persecution and the other three were incarcerated, only because they refused to give up their belief and exercised their freedom of speech to express their opinion.
The younger son Peng Min was illegally arrested in March 2000 and was brutally tortured at Qingling Detention Center in Wuhan City. On January 9, 2001 the guards beat Peng Min until his spine became shattered. He also suffered from a compression fracture of his neck. He was paralyzed, but the guards claimed he had "injured himself." After his mother took him home and he had slightly recovered, more than 30 officers from the Wuhan City Riot Police Division took Peng Min to Wuhan City No. 7 Hospital for "treatment." During this period, the police watched him around the clock to prevent the truth from getting out. The hospital staff received instruction from the police and ignored Peng Min by not providing him treatment. Peng Min had lost all feelings below his head. The flesh on his back festered into a gaping hole. The hospital authorities declared, "Peng Min will not leave the hospital as long as he is still alive!" Peng Min passed away on April 6, 2001. The police secretly cremated his body the next day.

After Peng Min passed away, his brother Peng Liang and mother Li Yingxiu were sent to Hongxia Brainwashing Class and were separately held. On April 29, 2001, Li Yingxiu died 22 days after the death of her son. The police claimed she died from a "cerebral hemorrhage." Li Yingxiu's hair had been completely shaved; there were wounds on her head and blood inside her nose and mouth; there was blood on her clothes. One police officer who knew the truth said Li Yingxiu died because "she spoke too much after the death of her son."
The older son, Peng Liang, was detained many times and cruelly tortured. After the deaths of his younger brother and mother, Peng Liang risked his life and filed a lawsuit through the Internet with the International Court against Zhao Zhifei, the deputy head of the Public Security Department for Hubei Province, the head of 610 Office. Peng Liang was arrested in August 2001.
The youngest daughter Peng Yan is a simple and kind-hearted girl. She was detained many times and was later illegally sentenced to three years in prison. Toward the end of July 2001 she was transferred to Wuhan City Women's Prison. After the persecution of her brothers and mother were exposed, Jiang's group did everything possible to "reform" Peng Yan, in order to cover up their crimes and destroy evidence. Peng Yan suffered unimaginable abuse but she persisted in her belief. Torture had no effect on her. The prison authorities handpicked "outstanding" guards from different divisions and sent nearly 20 inmates to "take down the fort," which means to make her renounce her belief. They organized a "study class" that is in fact a brainwashing class just to torture her. Most vicious is the fact that the government stated that all of the inmates would be held without hope for release as long as Peng Yan persisted in her belief. They tried to take advantage of Peng Yan's good heart and created tremendous pressure for her in an attempt to destroy her will.
The father, Peng Weisheng, was also detained many times because he appealed and refused to give up his belief. In January 2002, Peng Weisheng was transferred to Wuchang District Brainwashing Class held by the 610 Office. The 610 Office authorities said, "Peng Weisheng will be held for an indefinite term if he doesn't "reform"."
Reporters from the Focal Point Interview program run by CCTV staged an interview with Peng Min and his family. Although the family pointed out the CCP's lies immediately, CCTV continued to fabricate slander to deceive people.
Chen Yunchuan and his family from Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province:
Three out of four siblings died from persecution; elderly parents detained many times
A family that practiced Falun Dafa lived in Chanfangying Village, Beixinpu Town, Huailai County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. The father is Chen Yunchuan; the mother Wang Lianrong; the older daughter is Chen Shulan; her daughter is Li Ying; the older son is Chen Aizhong; the younger son is Chen Aili, and the younger daughter is Chen Hongping. Through Dafa practice, Chen Yunchuan was cured of his chronic back and leg pain; Wang Lianrong was cured of arthritis and cough that had plagued her for more than three decades. Her temperament improved, and the family benefited tremendous from Dafa.

After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, the older son Chen Aizhong persisted in his belief in Truth-Compassion-Tolerance and was sentenced to three years of forced labor. He was sent to the No. 1 Labor Camp in Tangshan City in Hebei Province on September 12, 2001. He died from torture eight days later. The younger daughter, Chen Hongping, was illegally arrested. Officers from the Donghuayuan Police Station in Huailai County beat her until both of her legs were fractured. She was then held at the Gaoyang Labor Camp for 18 months, during which time she underwent savage abuse. Ms. Chen died on March 5, 2003.
On February 28, 2004 the old couple Chen Yunchuan, Wang Lianrong and son Chen Aili were taken to the Shalingzi Brainwashing Class in Zhangjiakou City. They held a hunger strike to protest the persecution. Two months later Chen Yunchuan and Chen Aili were under house arrest. Officers from Beixinpu Township sent people to keep them under surveillance around the clock. On July 9, Chen Aili, who was extremely weak from chronic harassment and mistreatment, left home and lived a homeless life to avoid further persecution of himself and his parents. He passed away on November 5.
Chen Shulan, the sole survivor of the four siblings, is held at the Tiantanghe Women's Labor Camp in Daxing County, Beijing. Her daughter Li Ying was arrested and held at the Changping District Nursing Home in Beijing.
Their suffering is typical of countless families that were torn apart and destroyed during this persecution.
3.2 Brutality Against Mothers and Infants
According to an investigation by the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) and the Global Mission to Rescue Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners, it has been found that pregnant Falun Gong practitioners are not merely held in labor camps and prisons, but are subjected to torture and heavy physical labor to the point where they have spontaneous abortions. Cases exposed by the Minghui/Clearwisdom website as well as reports by a United Nations special rapporteur on violence against women, special rapporteur on torture and special rapporteur of religion show additional cruelties. The persecutors even send these pregnant women to labor camps or continue to detain them and force them to undergo regime-ordered abortions. These incidents are widespread in China.
In the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp in Heilongjiang Province, a woman who was about seven months pregnant was hung up on a beam. Her hands were tied with a coarse rope that was hung over a pulley attached to the beam. The stool that supported her was removed, and she was suspended in the air. The beam was 3 to 4 meters (10 to 12 feet) above the ground. The rope went through the pulley; a prison guard held on to one end of the rope. When the guard pulled on the rope, the practitioner would be suspended in the air; as soon as the police let go of the rope, she would quickly fall to the ground. This pregnant woman suffered painful torture like this until she had a miscarriage. Even crueler was that her husband was forced to watch his wife endure the torture.
Zhang Hanyun, 33, from Hanzhong, Shaanxi Province, had suffered from amenorrhea and couldn't get pregnant, even though the village administration committee had given her permission to have a baby five years ago. Less than six months after she started practicing Falun Gong her menses became normal and she conceived. Her whole family was grateful for Falun Gong. But last March, though she was pregnant and expecting her baby soon, she was still forced to attend a brainwashing class. To avoid persecution she hid with her relative's family. Under instructions from Hanzhong 610 Office staff members, the Beiguan Administrative Office closed down her father's and brother's construction sites in an attempt to force them to hand over Ms. Zhang. They also handcuffed Ms. Zhang's husband to the bridge over the Jialing River to humiliate him. Despite her family's suffering, in the end they still arrested Zhang Hanyun and sent her to a brainwashing class. When the staff realized Ms. Zhang would soon give birth, they took her to an employee hospital 30 km away and used an expansion technique dismembering the baby who was almost due, and removed the baby.
Wang Guijin lived in Xingzheng Village, Hua Township, Lutai Town, Huaiyang County, Zhoukou City, Henan Province. Her husband Song Zhenling was an outstanding teacher. He was cured of hepatitis B after he started practicing Dafa in 1996. Wang Guijin was moved by Falun Dafa's principles of Truth-Compassion-Tolerance and started Dafa cultivation. On July 19, 2004, Wang Guijin was arrested from her mother's home by officers from Lutai Police Station in Huaiyang County while she was nine months pregnant. They took Wang Guijin to the Huaiyang County Birth Plan Station, where eight men pinned her down and aborted her baby. She was subsequently sentenced to five years in prison and has been detained up until now. Her father was charged with "harboring a criminal" and was sentenced to one year in prison. Even Wang Guijin's neighbor who let Wang Guijin stay with them for one night was extorted out of 2,000 yuan by the persecutors. Her husband Song Zhenling was tortured at the county detention center until he almost went blind in both eyes; he was paralyzed and became skin and bones. Although he was on the brink of death, the communist regime agents still sentenced him to ten years in prison. Persecutors from the 610 Office and the National Security Division took away their three-year-old son. The young boy's whereabouts are unknown to this day.
On May 25, 2002, officers from the Mengzhou City Police Department and the 610 Office jumped over the wall into the courtyard of Falun Gong practitioner Geng Juying's house to send Geng Juying to labor camp so they could get bonus money. They forced her to have an abortion by injecting her to induce labor. When Ms. Geng was in unbearable pain, several policemen looked at her and laughed cruelly; as they watched her abortion they said lewdly, "Aren't you pretty? We just want to watch you have an abortion!" Thus Geng Juying lost the baby under the malicious eyes of these wicked policemen. She was then sent to Shibalihe Labor Camp where she has been held until now.
In December 2000, Tang Jinai from Zhenlong Town, Zengcheng City, Guangdong Province went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. She was two months into her first pregnancy. Officers from the local police station arrested her and sent her to the Zengcheng Detention Center. Because the law says pregnant women cannot be sent to labor camps, persecutor Luo Weijun and other officers from the Zhenlong Town Police Station sent her to the Birth Planning Office in Zengcheng City. Five or six men carried her onto the operating table. The doctor performed a forced abortion. After the procedure, they took her back to the Zhenlong Police Station. The personnel there didn't want to keep her, fearing she might die, so they sent her home. She had no feeling in her body as she lay in bed unconscious, and yet the perpetrators monitored her on a daily basis. During the 2001 Chinese New Year's Eve they deceived Tang Jinai's family. They said that they would take her to a hospital and left with her, but they took her to the Zengcheng Drug Rehabilitation Center for further persecution. Two months later Ms. Tang was sentenced to 18 months of forced labor.
Shu Ping from Zhangjiakou City was four months pregnant when she was sent to the Gaoyang Labor Camp in Hebei Province for refusing to give up practicing Falun Gong. She was shocked with a high-voltage electric baton on her feet and mouth; because she couldn't be intimidated, she was forced to hold a position called "sitting on the plane" [a torture that makes a person bend like the shape of a flying airplane] in a torture room. Though Ms. Shu was suffering from lumbago and felt sick and was wracked with pain from the continuous torture lasting more than 20 hours, she still kindly reasoned with the malevolent policemen, "Do you still have any human nature left? How can you treat a pregnant woman in such a way?" However, a wicked policeman answered, "Who can prove that you are pregnant? If you die, we'll just send you to the crematorium and then inform your family they can pick up your ashes for a fee of 85 yuan!"
Since ancient times, human relations have been of utmost importance. Motherhood is sacred and inviolable. Jiang's hoodlum communist regime's political group carries out deception, wickedness and violence and forces women to choose between an unborn life and their conscience and belief, in the name of the party and a wicked political dogma. The communist rulers use the most barbaric and obscene methods to cruelly harm women, blaspheme motherhood and destroy human relations. This is most unfortunate for the Chinese nation.
3.3 Ruthless Killing
Burning and dragging Falun Gong practitioners to death
Ms. Wang Huajun was 30 years old and had lived in Baiguo Town, Macheng City, Hubei Province. Because she announced that the statements she wrote under pressure in a brainwashing class were void, the police from Macheng City beat her until she was on the brink of death. On April 18, 2001, Xu Shiqian, secretary of the Political and Judiciary Committee dragged Ms. Wang to Jinqiao Square.
Starting at 1:30 p.m. on April 18th, 2001, the whole city was under martial law and no vehicles could pass through. The police poured gasoline on Wang Huajun and burned her to death. Then they said that a Falun Gong practitioner had immolated herself in front of the government building on Jinqiao Square. Eyewitnesses said that Wang Huajun was lying on the ground when the fire started. When the fire started to burn, she moved, trying to get up. The police officers at the scene panicked because they were afraid she would shout out the truth. But by this time Ms. Wang was so weak from being severely tortured that she could no longer stand up. Finally, when the fire had gone out completely, people saw that the front of her body was burned while her back did not have any signs of burning. Moreover, there were deep knife wounds on her throat and the back of her head! On April 20, the Macheng City government publicly claimed that Wang Huajun had burned herself because she went insane from practicing Falun Gong. Three male practitioners who knew the truth about this murder were dragged to death behind racing police motorcycles.
Murdering practitioners by injecting with unknown toxic substances
Ms. Zhang Fuzhen, about 38 years old, was an employee of Xianhe Park, Pingdu City, Shandong Province. She was arrested by the authorities in 2001 and was sent to Pingdu Brainwashing Class in Shandong Province. The 610 Office agents stripped her naked and shaved her whole head. They tied her to a bed with her four limbs stretched out; she therefore was forced to relieve herself on the bed. Later, because she refused to give up her belief, the police injected her with an unknown toxic substance. After the injection Zhang was in so much pain that she nearly had a nervous breakdown. She struggled in great pain on the bed until she died. Local officials from the 610 Office witnessed the whole process.
Mr. Wang Xinbo from the Zhangdian District, Zibo City, Shandong Province worked at the Zhangdian District Tobacco Company in Zibo City, Shandong Province. He was repeatedly persecuted because he told people about the positive changes he experienced through Dafa practice and the truth about the persecution. In 2003 Mr. Wang was sentenced to 13 years in prison and was savagely tortured at the Shandong Province Prison. In October 2005 the brutal captors deprived him of sleep for four days and four nights in order to "reform" him. More than ten abusers took turns beating him. In order to resist the persecution, Wang Xinbo didn't eat or drink for four days. When he lost consciousness and showed signs of whole-body edema, the captors sent him to a police hospital. After the swelling subsided and he had recovered slightly, the hospital gave him three injections of unknown drugs against his will and then sent him home. Soon after Wang Xinbo went home, his stomach and legs became extremely swollen and his whole body ached terribly. A hospital diagnosis revealed internal organ damage. Blood drawn from his abdomen was dark purple. He passed away on February 10, 2006.
In the evening of April 6, 2005, Mr. Li Xianming from Shehong, Suining in Sichuan Province was illegally arrested in front of the county government hostel. National Security Bureau agents staged the arrest and pushed him into a small car without a license plate. They took him to the county detention center, where they savagely tortured him. The guards injected him later with a poisonous substance. He died the day of his arrest, during the evening of April 6, 2005.
Cremating people alive
Zhang Zhenggang, 36 years old, was a former employee of the Industrial and Commercial Bank in Huai-an City. On March 2, 2000, Mr. Zhang was taken into custody in the Huaian Police Station. On March 25, he was brutally beaten, which left him with fatal brain injuries. Later, he was sent to the First Hospital of Huai-an City for emergency treatment and fell into a coma. On March 30, the medical examination showed that Mr. Zhang still had a weak heartbeat and breath. Then about 50 police officers appeared and imposed a curfew at the hospital. Following that, a few officers pushed Zhang Zhenggan's family members and other patients around and took Mr. Zhang who still had a heartbeat and was breathing to the crematorium. Mr. Zhang's body was cremated without the consent of his family members. The police prevented his family and friends from publicly grieving or sending flower wreaths in his honor. They denied Mr. Zhang's family permission to appeal his case.
Beaten to death in public
On October 17, 2005, Mr. Fei Weidong, a 41-year-old teacher at the No. 1 Middle School in Jiujiang County, Jiangxi Province, clarified the truth while shopping for a motorcycle in a store. The store owner reported him. The police arrived and closed the shutters to the shop; then they beat Fei Weidong to death. According to witnesses, there was a large hole on each of Fei Weidong's temples, and all of his front teeth were knocked out. The police beating was savage. An autopsy was performed and the body was cremated soon afterwards. Fei Weidong's family received the ashes but not the autopsy report. The authorities claimed that Fei Weidong died from heart disease. They refused the family the right to make inquiries.
Mr. Yuan Shengjun from Jiyuan City, Henan Province was illegally sentenced to six years in prison on October 7, 2005. After about two weeks, 610 Office police officers beat Yuan Shengjun to death. His body was full of wounds and bruises.
In the afternoon of October 25, 2005, police in Nantao Village, Chengliu Town, arrested Mr. Yuan Shengjun, a 42-year-old Dafa practitioner from Jiyuan City, Henan Province. The police forced the Nantao Village officials to sign a death certificate to say that Yuan Shengjun who was still alive at the time was dead. They took him to a crematory and beat him to death on the way. His eyes did not close even two days after his death and his mouth was wide open. One of his hands, an arm and fingernails were totally black; his back was totally black and blue and one of his legs was greenish purple.
Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Yuan Shengjun
Yuan Shengjun held a bachelor's degree and served as head of the Jiyuan City Materials Bureau. Mr. Yuan strictly conducted himself according to Truth-Compassion-Tolerance, the principles of Falun Dafa. He worked hard, refused bribes and treated people fairly. He received high scores from the bureau employees. In November 2000, Yuan Shengjun wrote an open letter to Jiang Zemin, the then-general secretary of the CCP Central Committee, in which he clarified the truth about Falun Gong. The Jiyuan City 610 Office persecutors illegally fired him and sentenced him to three years in prison. He was savagely beaten, shocked with electric batons and subjected to brainwashing. On March 30, 2005, after his home was ransacked and after six months of detention, Mr. Yuan was sentenced to another six years in prison, despite complete absence of evidence against him. After holding a hunger strike for several days in protest, Yuan Shengjun escaped from the Jiyuan City People's Hospital and went to Nantao Village. He died two weeks later. His family never saw him again after he was taken from home six months before, when he was healthy and energetic. The persecutors gave his ashes to his wife and to his mother, in her 80s.
Murder to destroy evidence
After the CCP's atrocities against Falun Gong practitioners were exposed, instead of punishing the criminals and restoring justice to the victims, the CCP covered up facts and unscrupulously and viciously destroyed evidence in an attempt to block the truth from getting out.
In May 2004, Ms. Gao Rongrong, an accountant from the Luxun Fine Arts College in Shenyang City, had her face shocked with electric batons for seven hours, which resulted in severe disfigurement. She later suffered from atrophy of internal organs. Ms. Gao was skin and bones and on the brink of death. On October 5, Gao Rongrong escaped and regained freedom with the help of other Falun Gong practitioners. Her disfigurement shocked the international community and her plight was listed among the "2004 United Nations Human Rights Report on China's Persecution of Falun Gong." The CCP was furious and codenamed her case "Major Case 26." They launched a fanatic retaliation against Gao Rongrong and Falun Gong practitioners who rescued her. Luo Gan, head of the 610 Office said, "This incident has too much international impact." He ordered his subordinates to "take good care of it," which included annihilation of living evidence.
In March 2005, Falun Gong practitioners Feng Gang, Sun Shiyou, Dong Jingya, Zhang Lirong, Wu Junde, Liu Qingming, and Ma Yuping, the people who helped her escape, were arrested by police and savagely tortured. The officers at Tiexi Criminal Police Division in Shenyang City beat Sun Shiyou and shocked his private parts while screaming, "If we shock other parts, people can see it, now we'll shock places that people can't see!" On March 8, 2005, Gao Rongrong was arrested again and was murdered on June 16, 2005.
Ms. Li Shuhua was a 32-year-old seamstress who lived on Peiying Street in Yushu City, Jilin Province. In late September 2003, Jiang Wei and other officers from the Peiying Street Police Station in Yushu City arrested Li Shuhua from her home when she was cooking for her child. They told her they wanted her to write a statement at the police station. She never returned. Ms. Li died from torture on October 6, 2003. Later, out of conscience, an official from the police station who knew the truth revealed what happened surrounding her death.
At a prison, the police demanded information regarding the sources of Falun Gong materials and who her contacts were. Li Shuhua said nothing. The police started to torture her. They covered her head with plastic bags and stuck big needles into her fingertips, arms, back and chest. Many people heard her painful screams. Seeing he still could not get any answers from Li Shuhua, one police officer angrily struck her eyes with his fists with such brutal force that one of her eyeballs popped out. Li Shuhua screamed and lost consciousness from the pain. The police was afraid of taking responsibility, so they asked their superiors for instructions, after which they decided to kill Li Shuhua to destroy evidence. They took her body to a hospital and soaked it in medicinal fluid for a few days followed by freezing. They also had plastic surgery done on the body, after which they told Li Shuhua's family that she had "starved herself."
When the family asked the coroner to explain rows of needle marks, the one caved-in eye socket, collapsed skull, purple-blue face with broken skin, black nails and stomach full of blood and fluid, the coroner made up clumsy lies to cover up the truth. Li Shuhua's family tried to take photographs but the police prevented them. The police watched the body until cremation. Li Shuhua's husband Yang Zhanjiu and her mother Cui Zhanyun were arrested and sent to prison for practicing Falun Gong and were forbidden to see Li Shuhua's body. Afterwards, Li Shuhua's father and two young children live alone at home.
After the rape of two women Falun Gong practitioners inside the Dongchengfang Town Police Station in Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province on November 11, 2005 was exposed, the CCP ignored the condemnation from the international community. The CCP rulers claimed they would "deal with the perpetrator as a minor offender" and also threatened and tried to bribe the victims and witnesses. After the victims and witnesses left home to avoid further persecution, agents from the Hebei Province Department of Public Security posted a 100,000-yuan reward for the capture of each person. They dispatched scores of officials and patrolled the area around the clock. They followed and threatened the families of the victims and, to cover up their crimes, arrested more than ten Falun Gong practitioners who helped the victims. On February 24, 2006, Baoding City Police Department agents held a meeting in Zhuozhou City. The officials vowed to escalate the persecution in the Baoding area. They said a large group of Falun Gong practitioners would be arrested, and the officials must find the two rape victims. They declared they would "kill the living evidence so there is no way to verify the truth." It was heard in early March 2006 that Liu Jizhi and her daughter who was taking care of her were illegally arrested by officers from the Zhuozhou City 610 Office and the National Security Division. Liu Jizhi is now in a precarious mental state from the devastating trauma inflicted on her mind and body.
Murder by throwing an injured person off a building
Thirty-two-year-old Yu Xiuling lived in Qichengzi Village, Damiao Town, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. She was taken from home by officers from Longcheng District Police Department in Chaoyang City and was cruelly tortured. In the morning of September 20, the police tried to coerce her to write a repentance statement, but she insisted that she didn't do anything wrong by being a good person and following Truth-Compassion-Tolerance. The police handcuffed Ms. Yu to a heating pipe and tortured her for 13 hours. She was unconscious and on the brink of death. One police officer said, "Send her to the ER." Another officer said, "No! We can't explain it if she cannot be revived." In the end, they threw Yu Xiuling from the window on the fourth floor and she died upon impact. Around midnight, they hastily sent the body to a crematory. The police lied and claimed she jumped from the building and committed suicide. They intimidated her husband Feng Dianxiang, "Go sue us wherever you'd like! We have orders from above that 'no measure is too excessive in dealing with Falun Gong.'"
Yu Xiuling's two young daughters
Thirty-two-year old practitioner Su Qionghua lived in Suining, Sichuan Province. She died at 6:30 p.m., December 20, 2000, after being kicked out of a window by policemen from the City National Security Division and Chuanshan Police Station.
According to witnesses at the scene, on the morning of December 18, over a dozen policemen from the National Security Division and Chuanshan Police Station came to ransack Su Qionghua's home. Su Qionghua would not open the door, but tried to reason with them. The police surrounded her home and the nearby area for three days yelling, "After we capture her, we'll kill her!" At around 6:30 p.m. on December 20, Su Qionghua was leaning out the window explaining the truth about Dafa to around three to four hundred spectators outside on the ground. When a police officer lowered himself from the roof on a rope he fiercely kicked her. She grabbed the policeman's foot with both hands, but the policeman straightened his foot quickly and violently kicked Su Qionghua again, making her to fall from the 6th floor. Spectators outside then all shouted, "The police have killed her! The police have killed her!" After Su Qionghua fell, the police took no measures to save her. Instead, they tried to hide the truth of what happened. While she was still breathing, they lifted her onto a net (used to catch people who jump trying to commit suicide) and took a photograph, hoping to make it look like they had tried to save her from committing suicide. By this time Su Qionghua had stopped breathing, so they took her away in a police vehicle.
Mr. Wang Yongdong, 38 years old, lived on Yangdong Street, Yishui County in Shandong Province. On September 21, 2001, police from Yishui County broke into his home. They beat him severely and threw him out the window from the fourth floor of the building. Later police lied by saying that he committed suicide. The brutal beatings left marks on Wang's body and neck. Wang Yongdong sold vegetables and was popular among his neighbors. People in the surrounding villages and towns are outraged at his murder.
Hitting and killing with a car
Around 9:00 p.m. on April 26, 2002, Wang Aizhi, deputy chief of the Nanguan Police Station in the Weicheng District, and Yu Mingchun, a security person, hit 61-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Cao Guifen with an unmarked Toyota police van. Cao Guifen worked at Weifang Distribution, Storage, and Shipping Company. Eyewitnesses said that she was walking in accordance with traffic rules when the police van came out of nowhere and darted straight at her, hitting her so hard she threw up blood. She died three hours later at the Weifang Medical School Hospital. During an investigation of this murder, authorities from the Nanguan Police Station in Weicheng District admitted that Wang Aizhi hit Ms. Cao, but they were unwilling to reveal the details.
Suffocation
In 2001, to reach the quote of "reform rate," police officers in Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province secretly planned to cover the mouths and noses of Falun Gong practitioners who refuse to give up their belief with plastic bags, suffocating them. They thought they could murder the practitioners this way, as there is no blood or evidence of violence left behind.
Organ harvesting
Some incidents of the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the CCP and Jiang's group published on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website show that as early as 2001, blood-filled holes and surgical wounds were found on the bodies of several Falun Gong practitioners. Some bodies were dissected in violation of Chinese laws and without the consent of the practitioners' families. People from inside the Chinese government revealed that the persecutors conspired with doctors and harvested the practitioners' organs after they were tortured to death, and then sold the organs.
Wang Bin was 44 years old and worked as a computer software engineer at the Institute of Exploration and Development in the Daqing Petroleum Field. He had received the National 2nd Rank Science and Technology Award. For three sessions in a row, he had been a representative of the employee's assembly at the institute. In December 1999, Mr. Wang was detained for over 100 days because he had signed an appeal letter to the National People's Congress with more than 200 Dafa practitioners in Daqing City. In April 2000, he was detained for 45 days with the charge of participating in an "illegal gathering" only because he and ten other practitioners were eating together. In May 2000, Mr. Wang was sentenced to forced labor for going to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. He refused to give up his belief at the labor camp and was savagely tortured. Feng Xi, political head of Division 2 screamed, "If you don't "reform", you'll die for sure!" On September 24, 2000, four or five inmates beat Wang Bin to death under Feng Xi's instruction. According to the doctor on duty, the beating left his testicles crushed; the artery in his neck and major blood vessels burst. His collarbone, chest bones and a dozen ribs fractured. He had cigarette burns on the back of his hands and inside his nostrils. His whole body was black and blue. Even more gruesome: his heart, brain and other internal organs were removed after his death. His body was horrible to behold.
In early April of 2002, Mr. Zhang Yanchao, a Falun Gong practitioner from Lalin Town, Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province was arrested and detained by agents from the Hongqi Township Police Station on his way home after completing an errand in Shuangcheng City. Several days later, officers from Harbin City Police Department took Mr. Zhang away. On April 30, 2002, Mr. Zhang's family was notified that he had died in police custody. At the Huangshanzuizi Crematory in Harbin City, Mr. Zhang's family members saw his body, which had been brutalized beyond recognition and was appallingly disfigured. One of his legs was broken. One of his eyeballs was missing and the socket was caved in, leaving a gaping hole. There was virtually no skin on his head, face and most parts of his body, and there was not a single tooth left in his lower jaw, which was shattered. His clothes were also gone. Bruises and wounds could be seen everywhere on his body, many parts of which were skinless. There was a long cut on his chest, which was obviously sewn up later. His chest was also caved in, his skull was opened and a part of his brain was removed. His internal organs were missing. More than 60 fully armed policemen were stationed everywhere in the crematorium. They declared that whoever appealed for Zhang Yanchao would be arrested immediately and handled as a "counterrevolutionary."
According to insiders, Zhang Yanchao was held in a torture chamber at Division 7 of the Harbin City Police Department where more than 40 torture tools were present. He died after one day and one night. The persecution did not end with his death, however, his wife Guan Yinghua was also arrested and detained, and the police searched twice for their 15-year-old daughter Zhang Dan. The whole village was deeply grieved and angry at the brutal murder of an innocent, kind person.
Thirty-three year-old Zuo Zhigang was an outstanding electronics maintenance engineer at the Philips Corporation at the Ruiguang Computer Company on Zhongshan Street in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. On May 30, 2001, the day before his wedding, the police took him away and beat him to death overnight. Zuo Zhigang's body was covered with wounds. One of his ears was dark purple and there were two big, square-shaped holes on the back of his body, and his kidneys had been removed. There was a circular mark on his neck with blood around it showing that a string had been pulled tightly around it. The police said Zuo Zhigang hung himself with his shirt and died, but Zuo Zhigang is 1.72 m tall, how could he have hung himself on a prison gate that is only 1.6m high?
In February 2001, Falun Gong practitioner Ren Pengwu died of torture at the No. 2 Detention Center in Hulan County. Without his famiy's consent, the police removed all of Ren Pengwu's organs - from his pharynx and larynx to his penis, and then hastily cremated his body. They forbade his family to photograph his body.
A man who was detained in the Baiyun District's Drug Rehabilitation Center in Guangzhou City in 2001 revealed that the doctors at the center often ordered drug addicts suffering from withdrawal symptoms to beat Falun Gong practitioners from other cities. The doctors told the addicts to keep the organs intact. One day he witnessed several drug addicts beating a Falun Gong practitioner. A doctor said, "Do not hit him in back area. The kidneys are useful!" He also talked about several male Falun Gong practitioners who were detained with him. They were between 20 and 50 years old with northern accents. He personally saw them being dragged out and never coming back. He also said that even though those Falun Gong practitioners from outside of Guangzhou City disappeared, and none of their families could possibly come to find them.

The perpetrators who persecute Falun Gong practitioners have eroded their human nature and been instilled with demonic nature by the CCP. They are on a path of no return. Faced with the horrors of state terrorism, Falun Gong practitioners have not backed down or looked for a "safe route." Instead, they have endured tremendous tribulations and safeguarded their belief with perseverance. They have peacefully and rationally opposed the persecution and clarified the truth, and they have awakened people's conscience with sincerity and compassion. More and more people have learned the truth about Falun Gong and the evil nature of this persecution. More than nine million Chinese people have awakened and have voluntarily and courageously published announcements to withdraw from the CCP. They sided with conscience and justice in the battle between good and evil, choosing a bright future for themselves.
Observers point out that Falun Gong practitioners are stopping the CCP's evil specter from poisoning and destroying mankind by upholding the practitioners' noble belief in Truth-Compassion-Tolerance, exposing and stopping this evil persecution. Falun Gong practitioners' great compassion and their perseverance in upholding the truth, and their courage in awakening people, reflect the magnificence and beauty of Truth-Compassion-Tolerance, and by contrast, reveal the wickedness and madness of the CCP. Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful, rational and persistent resistance has brought courage to the Chinese people, to help them emerge from the dark clouds of state terrorism. They have also brought people of kindness and justice great hope for a bright future.
(Clearwisdom.net) Between 2 and 3 a.m on March 6, 2005, agents from the State Security Division of the Shenyang City Police Department conspired with the State Security Team of the Tiexi Section Police Office in Shenyang to arrest Ms. Gao Rongrong and Ms Dong Jingya. The women were sleeping in an apartment in the Yonghuan Section off the Shenhe District in Shenyang City at the time of their arrest. Ms. Dong Jingya was handcuffed behind her back right away.
The police seemed very excited to be arresting Ms. Gao Rongrong. Her face had been severely disfigured from electric baton torture, and she suffered from broken bones in her pelvis, thigh, and legs. They gathered around Ms. Gao Rongrong and Ms. Dong Jingya's beds. The person in charge was Chief Ma of the State Security Division of the Shenyang City Police Department. He is 40 to 50 years old, and people called him "Chief Ma."
A police officer around 30 years old arrested Ms. Dong Jingya's mother, Ma Lianxiao, her sister, Dong Jingzhe, and brother-in-law, Sun Shiyou, during the day by breaking a window and entering via a firefighter's ladders. He sat by Ms. Gao Rongrong's bed, sarcastically staring at her face.
This officer told Ms. Dong Jingya to dress Ms. Gao Rongrong. Ms. Dong didn't do as she was told but asked him, "What's your name?" He lowered his head and said, "I came from Liaoyang." Later they called a policewoman to come and dress Ms. Gao. The policewoman was rude, and Ms. Gao resisted. The policewoman still ignored her. Chief Ma asked Dong Jingya, "How are Gao Rongrong's legs?" Ms. Dong Jingya didn't answer him.
The police confiscated Dafa books, truth-clarification materials, a notebook computer, a color printer. and wireless connection equipment in the room. They also took away Ms. Dong Jingya's salary card and over 5,000 yuan in cash. Chief Ma told his subordinates, "She is a techie. She has money."
Ms. Dong Jingya asked them to loosen her handcuffs. A male police officer said, "I'm the evil police reported on Clearwisdom.net. I won't be good any more. My name is Wang Jun. You can put my name on the Internet!"
Ms. Dong Jingya was taken to a minivan downstairs. Later, the police carried Ms. Gao Rongrong in a blanket and put her in the van. The van stopped suddenly not too long after it left. They removed Ms. Gao Rongrong from the van and disappeared into the dark night.
In April 2005 people saw Ms. Gao Rongrong locked in a single cell in the Liaoning Province Prison Hospital. On June 16, 2005, Ms. Gao Rongrong passed away in the emergency room at Shenyang Medical University. Where these "people in law enforcement" had taken Gao Rongrong in the meantime and how they tortured her, nobody knows.
Ms. Dong Jingya was taken to the State Security Team of the Tiexi Section Police Office of Shenyang City. She was subjected to continuous interrogation for several nights. In the basement, Ms. Dong Jingya was photographed against her will in the basement of the facility and then handcuffed and shackled. Police officer Sun Jianping, around 50 years old, and Li Zheng, over 30, took turns torturing Ms. Dong. When they saw she was not responding to them, Sun Jianping said viciously, "We'll let you become the second Gao Rongrong." Li Zheng said, "Let's charge up the electric batons." Then he moved forward to squeeze her hands that were handcuffed to the chair. Ms. Dong looked at him righteously, and he had to let go. Li Zheng said, "We are all hired hatchet men. We don't have any choice. They really gave us money!" As he spoke he took out a thick stack of yuan and said, "Look, they will give us more."
Ms. Dong didn't answer them. Early in the morning they put two very bright lights in front of her to hurt her eyes. Police officer Zhang Yu, male, about 40, said, "Don't you take care of others (referring to her taking care of Gao Rongrong). Enjoy it!" Police officer Xiu Decheng said, "Push her down from the fourth floor and bury her." Ms. Dong said, "All these comments won't affect me in the least. Hearing the Tao in the morning, one can die in the evening without regret."
In the afternoon on March 6, Ms. Dong was sent to a brainwashing center on the second floor of a small white building in the Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp. Police head Shi Fengyou in the brainwashing center, along with other police officers and some brainwashing personnel, took turns torturing her.
The brainwashing center promised to pay the personnel hired from outside 20 to 50 yuan per day. If they could "reform" one practitioner, they would be rewarded with an additional 1,000 yuan. On March 10, 2005 they had a meeting to dissolve the forced labor camp but keep the brainwashing center. The same afternoon, Ms. Dong was removed from the brainwashing center. She was placed in the Masanjia Hospital for one night. They infused her with two bottles of drugs. More than 10 policemen from the State Security Division of the Shenyang City Police Department and the State Security Team of the Tiexi Section Police Office of Shenyang City monitored her. Officer Yang Hai from the State Security Team said, "We don't have a grudge against any of you. We know that you are all selfless. But the CCP gives us money, so we'll do whatever they order us to do."
On March 11, Ms. Dong Jingya was sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Shenyang practitioner Zhang Lirong also stayed in the Masanjia Hospital for one night. She was infused with nine bottles of drugs. She almost lost consciousness at that time and became incontinent.
On March 9, 2005, Xu and others from Shenyang Police Department went to Ms. Dong Jingya's husband's workplace. They charged him with "Harboring Fugitives" to illegally interrogate him. They threatened to take away their house and they went to his house to take away their personal computer. Ms. Dong's husband has gone to the police department to ask for it back several times. The police say they have not yet finished taking evidence and still haven't returned it.
Ms. Dong has been on hunger strike for almost 10 months in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. They crudely force fed her three times a day, making her nose and mouth bleed. She was locked onto a metal bed and forced to ingest six bottles of drugs--way beyond a normal dose--every day. Her life was at risk several times. The officials sent her to the Medical University and to the Masanjia Hospital. Because she insisted on shouting, "Falun Dafa is good" they locked her up in the "ice room" [a commercial walk-in freezer?]. They also shocked her with electric batons and locked her in the police office in the 1st Brigade. She was deprived of sleep for 10 days and handcuffed to the bed.
On February 27, 2006, police guard Li Mingyu from the 1st Brigade in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp let Ms. Dong Jingya's family take her home. Ms. Dong Jingya shouted, "Falun Dafa is good" and walked out of Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.
(Clearwidsom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Yuan Zheng from Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, about 38 to 39 years old, originally came from Liaoning Province. In September 2001, she was illegally arrested while clarifying the truth in public. She was illegally detained at Zhuhai City Detention Center No. 2. Ms. Yuan did not give her name [Note: practitioners often do not reveal their names when they are arrested, due to the government's policy of implicating and punishing family members, friends, and work units]. Therefore, the guards recorded her as "no name" on the chart. In June 2002, Yuan Zheng was taken to an undisclosed location. No one has heard of her since.
As reported by prisoners at Detention Center No. 2 through unofficial channels, everyone with "no name" is taken to an undisclosed location.
Later, Ms. Yuan's mother got in touch with me. I told her to go to the 610 Office quickly and ask for the release of her daughter. But, she did not take the advice, as she was afraid to implicate her son, a government official.
What undisclosed location was Ms. Yuan taken to? I worry deeply about Ms. Yuan Zhen, who has disappeared many years ago, since hearing the horrible news concerning the Shenyang Sujiatun secret concentration camp, where they harvest organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. I am especially worried, since I heard of the profit being made from organ harvesting.
I was illegally detained at Zhuhai City Detention Center No. 2 in April 2001. The prison ward where I was detained is in close proximity to the place where Ms. Yuan was detained.
At the time, I was held in Shed No. 37. One day in September, I heard shouting from the direction of Shed 35. A policeman who asked for the number of the prisoners demanded, "Why don't you report your number!" A prisoner answered: "She is Falun Gong." "Falun Gong has to report the number too!" The policeman shouted, but there was no response. "Push her down! Make her squat!" barked the policeman loudly. I heard the sound of pushing and pulling, and then the sound of hitting and kicking. I heard it very clearly.
During the next few days, the sounds of shouting and cursing, by different policemen, was heard from the direction of Shed 35. I heard bits and pieces about the situation. I learned that my fellow practitioner in Shed 35 was brutally beaten because she insisted on continuing with her cultivation. She was handcuffed, and she went on hunger strike to protest. The perpetrators force-fed her. She was tortured by the method, "handcuffed to a cross" (the person is tied to a wooden board that looks like a cross for a very long time, which results in obstructed blood circulation, and one gets bed sores all over the back).
During the time I was detained in Shed 37, Dafa practitioners Zhang Qingyun and Wang Zhijun were also detained there. We discussed what we heard and decided that we could not let them torture Dafa practitioners like this. The only method we could think of was to protest loudly. Therefore, we shouted together, "Stop persecuting Dafa practitioners! Stop persecuting Dafa practitioners! Dafa practitioners are not guilty!" After we shouted, our shed leader immediately ordered other prisoners to push us down and cover our mouths. We struggled and continued to shout. Ultimately, policeman Wu Moufen rushed into the shed and told us tersely, "Who is the leader in this? You better watch it!"
From the moment we loudly protested, it became quiet in Shed 35. After a while, a prisoner named Ahong came to Shed 37 (she used to stay in Shed 35). She later told us, "This practitioner refused to tell her name. They called her 'no name.'" From the moment we shouted, they took her to Shed 14 and continued to brutally torture her with "handcuffed to a cross." Ahong had been around "no name" for quite some time. Ahong told us that "no name" had bedsores all over her back. After she went on a hunger strike, she was taken to Shed 34. She refused to give her name, and the guards didn't know what to do with her.
After two to three months, just before the Chinese New Year, I passed Shed 34. I saw "no name." She had fair skin and was very pretty. I was deeply impressed and could not forget her.
I was later taken to Shed 34. However, "no name" was no longer there. Prisoners told me that "no name" was taken somewhere else. At the time, I thought that "no name" was released.
In the end of November 2002, the police took me to Guangdong Province Shaoguan Prison. After one month in a small cell, I was forced to undergo brainwashing at the No. 14 Brigade. Ahong, who used to be in the same cell with me was also in the Group 14 Brigade. Once when we took baths, Ahong was able to talk to me. I know she had a special relationship with policeman Wu Moufen. I heard that Ahong's family continuously bribed Wu Moufen. Therefore, I assumed that Ahong knew quite a lot. I asked her about "no name." Ahong said that "no name" was not released, but also was no longer at the detention center. I then asked her if "no name" was taken to a forced labor camp. Ahong said that Wu Moufen said that "no name" was taken to an undisclosed location. At the time, I thought that this undisclosed location was the local brainwashing center, and did not give it much thought.
In the middle of October 2004, I was "released." The Zhuhai City 610 Office used the excuse that I did not "transform" and took me to the local brainwashing center, where I was again illegally detained. My family paid to have me released on bail. A fellow practitioner found me and asked me about "no name." I described her appearance. This practitioner showed me a picture and asked me whether it was she or not. The picture looked like "no name."
My fellow practitioner told me that "no name" is Yuan Zheng. After she was released from Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, she went to her mother's home at Zhuhai. All the family knows is that in September 2001, after she left her mother's home, she disappeared. No one has heard from her since.
I call on my fellow citizens who still hold any delusion about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), to clearly see the evil character of the CCP, abandon the CCP, and become a good person. Remaining silent about the evil is tantamount to agreement with the evil. Maybe in the near future, the one the CCP will want to slaughter might be you, or your family member.
(Clearwisdom.net) The truth that is hidden behind the CCP's "civilized" Hunan Province Women's Prison is worse than a nightmare. Hundreds of innocent Hunan Falun Gong practitioners are tormented mentally and physically, brainwashed, and tortured at that prison. They are not allowed family visits, are strictly monitored around the clock, forced into slave labor, and more. Some could no longer bear the physical and mental torture and passed away before their appointed time. Some suffered a mental collapse because of the persecution. The real situation is completely the opposite from what Deputy Warden Zhao Lan boasts. The Hunan Province Women's Prison is a living hell and is bent on destroying morality, justice, and all that makes humans human.
The information below is only a small sample of what goes on here. Recording the evildoings at the Hunan Province Women's Prison in its persecution of practitioners would require more paper than exists to record them all.
Using Prisoners to Persecute Falun Gong Practitioners
When assigned to the "mutual supervision team," Hunan Province Women's Prison orders inmates to strictly supervise and persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Due to brainwashing and the promise of reduced prison terms, these prisoners changed from passively to actively assisting in the persecution. They even volunteer to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. They are sliding down into the abyss, becoming daily more and more depraved.
Encouraged by the prison guards, Zhang Genlin from Lianyuan inhumanly abused practitioner Ms. Xie Shuihua, a practitioner over 60 years old from Guiyang County in the Chenzhou District who was illegally sentenced to three years and imprisoned around June 2004, both mentally and physically. After Ms. Xie was taken to the brainwashing session on the first floor of the guardhouse, Zhang Genlin continued to create trouble. In the corridor Zhang pushed Ms. Xie without provocation into the iron railings of the corridor. She lost her breath and had difficulties breathing for a long time. Zhang Genlin told her, "Do you know who I am? I am a gangster!"
In the past, Zhang Genlin's family members were the leaders of a gangster organization operating in and around Xinhua and Lianyuan. Some of the family members were executed, and all the others are in prison. Under the orders of Li Chunhui, the guard in charge of the Education and "Transformation" Team ("The Education and Transformation Brigade" was set up in March 2005. It is in charge of "education" and "transformation" in Team 1, Team 2, and the Old Age Team), Zhang Genlin used many cruel methods to persecute practitioners. Because Zhang persecuted Falun Gong practitioners without mercy, the prison commuted this evil prisoner's sentence, and Zhang was released in July 2005
Depraved Police Guard Li Chunhui
Some of the crimes committed by the police guards at Hunan Province Women's Prison are worse than the crimes of the prisoners.
As soon as practitioner Ms. Xie Shuihua arrived at the prison, she refused to wear the prisoner's uniform. The prisoners then stripped her and the chief guard, Li Chunhui, from the Education and "Transformation" Team did not stop this unlawful act. Instead, she ordered Liu Qin from Yueyang (this prisoner is extremely vicious and teaches a "special class" during which he slanders Dafa. Falun Gong practitioners and the prisoners who monitor the practitioners have to attend this class) to take photos with a digital camera and then show the photos to other practitioners. Li wanted to start the rumor that Ms. Xie was without honor, as she was not wearing clothes. Li Chunhui also colluded with psychologist "Dr. Huang," who was in that prison for a special group research project, to accuse Ms. Xie Shuihua of having a mental problem. They used this to attack Falun Gong.
As the leader for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, Li Chunhui's evildoings and cell phone number have been published on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website many times. Yet, Li Chunhui continues her depraved behavior and has not stopped persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Once during a "meeting" with practitioners, Li Chunhui shamelessly said, "I receive calls on my cell phone every day and am annoyed with you practitioners daily. You said that I persecuted this one and that one. Who have I persecuted? I am persecuted, I am harassed, and I am a victim!"
Deputy Warden Zhao Lan Immersed in Hypocrisy
On the surface, Deputy Warden Zhao Lan of the Hunan Province Women's Prison is a kind person. Yet, she is the instigator of all sorts of mental and physical persecution of Falun Gong practitioners detained in the prison. To deceive and threaten practitioners to renounce their belief, Zhao Lan, who is a psychology major, stops at no evil or method in the persecution of practitioners.
Zhao Lan shows different behavior with different people. Some prisoners see her as a warden with "empathy," who is not arrogant. She announces that prison affairs must be "just, fair, and open." During celebrations and events, such as the Lunar New Year, she kindly gives prisoners a red envelop with the message "Wishing you advancement in 'transformation'" or "Gain a new life soon" and so on. Practitioners she believes to be good subjects for "transformation," are "taken care of" in subtle ways. When the practitioner's family members visit, she "grants special privileges." She takes the practitioner and family to a dinner. When she attends meetings outside the prison, she calls on or "visits" the family members of local practitioners who are detained in the prison. After she returns, she immediately goes to the Education and "Transformation" Team to assure that this practitioner is treated "with special care."
However when the practitioner refuses to renounce her belief, Zhao Lan shows her true character and lets fall the hypocritical veil. She orders physical and mental torture of this practitioner. In order to indoctrinate hatred towards Dafa and practitioners in police officers and prisoners and to make them voluntary tools in the persecution of practitioners, she orders everyone to watch videotapes that slander Dafa frequently. To "transform" practitioners, Zhao Lan initiated a brainwashing program and a "strict discipline" team. She set up an "Education and 'Transformation' Team" for brainwashing practitioners as soon as she had been taught this method in another prison.
She instigates and orders physical and mental tortures of practitioners; the methods are too numerous to mention. Deng Cheng, the former head of the police uniform team 7 (who has since been promoted to the chief of the production section in the police uniform factory) ordered the prisoners to brutally drag Ms. Mo Xiaoyan, a practitioner from Yueyang City from the fourth floor of the prison cells to the ground floor and then from the ground floor to the workshop. Her pants were torn, and her buttocks injured. Ms. Yan Hong from Changsha was subject to different tortures for continuing to practice Dafa and opposing the persecution. Ms. Yan was even once locked in a very small and completely dark confinement cell for two and a half months, with the excuse of "strict discipline." Ms. Yan was handcuffed at all times and forced to participate in "physical training." Ms. Zhou Yunxia from Yiyang, who was released on November 1, 2005, became mentally unstable due to the persecution. Ms. Jia Cuiying from Jishou was tormented until she was found to have lung cancer. She passed away in June 2004, only four months after she was released on medical parole. The torments suffered by all firm Falun Dafa practitioners are too numerous to be recorded in this article. Everyone can testify to the criminal acts committed by Zhan Lan and others.
The persecution of practitioners is still going on in Hunan Province Women's Prison, which has strictly blocked outgoing information, so the outside does not know what is going on inside the prison. They fear deeply that their evil acts during the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners will be exposed. What is known today is far from the complete truth of the persecution practitioners suffer in that prison..
Other Illegal Activities Behind the Walls of the "Civilized Prison"
In August 2004, Hunan Province Women's Prison was selected to be the "Province's Most Modernized and Civilized Prison." However, people in the know understand just how the prison obtained the "civilized prison" title. The prison authorities deceived and presented a false face to the outside. There are many illegal activities taking place inside.
To further their economic benefits, the women's prison does not consider the physical or mental health of detainees and violates prison rules about overtime work. Several of the teams work daily more than ten hours, which is far above the normal working hours set by law. Prisoners are given only short rest periods. Some squadrons begin work at 6 a.m., and the detainees have breakfast in the workshop, work through noon (they are not allowed to go back to the cell for a rest), and keep working late into the evening. They finish work as early as 9 or 10 p.m. or as late as 11 p.m. or midnight. There are times the prisoners work through the night. Prisoners complain continuously.
In this environment of long term hard labor, long working hours, and a lack of healthy spiritual guidance, many of the detainees develop serious mental disorders.
The Changfeng No. 5 Team of Prison Area No. 3 (former the Printing and Binding Team) is printing pirated books, such as advanced technological and professional books and adult books. The prison keeps silent about these ongoing activities.
Some police officer often accept bribes from prisoners and family members. Then they use their authority to reduce prison terms for prisoners or provide "venues" for parole. Many prisoners admit that Zhao Lan is their "partner in crime." These people are given easy workloads, such as "prisoner on duty." These prisoners will be the first to be considered for a reduction in term and parole.
It is no secret that since Zhao Lan became deputy warden, prisoner suicides and fights happen much more frequently.
Request from Falun Gong Practitioners to the Outside World
"Please, expose the evildoings of the women's prison on the Internet! Let the whole world know of our plight!" This is the request of every Falun Gong practitioner illegally detained in Hunan Province Women's Prison. Despite the inhuman, depraved, and evil environment, practitioners are persevering, are firm in their belief, and maintain a strong will and purpose. Their ability to continue to maintain such standards is beyond an ordinary's person imagination. At the same time, they ask all kind-people worldwide to help them in their hour of need and to end this persecution soon.

(Clearwisdom.net) In the last few months of 2005, it was extremely cold, and the water on the freshly washed clothes quickly turned into ice. Regardless of the weather, no matter how cold, windy, rainy or snowy, the Deyang Prison in Sichuan Province forced dozens of Falun Gong practitioners to perform army drills in the exercise yard: standing in the soldier posture, running or walking. All the practitioners were forcefully shaved and were not allowed to wear hats or gloves - even an elderly practitioner in his 70s was not exempted. Every day, the guards used various excuses to torture the practitioners.
Since July 20, 1999, Deyang Prison has been used to detain Falun Gong practitioners. Currently the prison has more than 70 practitioners detained. In more than six years, the prison has used various measures to persecute more hundreds of practitioners. The methods used on practitioners include brainwashing, forced "transformation", physical abuse, forcing them to run for several hours without stopping, stand and face the wall, stand for prolonged time, binding them to torture devices, sleep deprivation, denial of water and food, forcing them to work in the workshop for 36 hours continuously, etc. Due to the brutality of Deyang Prison, some practitioners became disabled or severely injured from the beatings, and some were even tortured to death.
The guards organized a special group of people and used them to torture practitioners. They set up several dark rooms without windows where the perpetrators commit crimes of torturing practitioners. They used many torture methods on practitioners such as "Riding a Plane" and "Riding a Motorcycle." The most vicious is called "Man-Han Full Menu" (a famous name for a traditional royal meal that contains 108 large dishes and countless small dishes. It is used here as the torture name to indicate that it comprises various types of tortures.) The practitioners were forced to stand, held in a painful squatting posture, or maintain a painful position next to the wall for several consecutive days and nights. The perpetrators silenced practitioners by stuffing dirty rags into practitioners' mouths, using tape to seal practitioners' mouths, and tying practitioners' hands and legs. Then, the perpetrators tortured and beat practitioners. The torture usually did not leave many marks on practitioners' hands and feet but caused internal injures.
Practitioner Jiang Shengui, who was an outstanding teacher, lost his teeth, had serious internal bleeding due to the beatings, and often vomited blood. Practitioner Chen Daiping was sent to a hospital after being severely injured from beating. Practitioner Li Chengdong's heart was damaged from beating. Dozens of practitioners staying on the second and third floors were forbidden to go downstairs. Every practitioner was monitored by two criminals around the clock. The criminals' role was to physically and mentally abuse practitioners. Practitioners were not allowed to talk to anyone or have meals with others. No matter where practitioners went, they were ordered to report to the criminals, or they would face a severe beating.
If a practitioner had any grievance and reported it to the guards, the practitioner would face more severe persecution. The beating left practitioners disabled and injured. For example, two of practitioner Li Wenbing's ribs were fractured, practitioner Pan Pu became deaf from beating, Xiao Hongmo and Xu Changzheng lost teeth, and Chen Kaixiang was unable to move for more than one week after the beating and was incapable of taking care of himself. Cao Ping's foot and hand were fractured while he was detained. The prison doctor refused to give him any medical treatment. Instead, Cao Ping was sent to Deyang Prison. After several months of brutal torture, Cao Ping was at the brink of death. The prison had to send him home in an attempt to avoid bearing responsibility for his death. Soon after being back at home, Cao Ping passed away. Yet the perpetrators spread lies to the public that Cao Ping died from cancer.
In 2002, the prison held a so called "transformation class." All the practitioners were forced to stand as a punishment. The perpetrators also tried to force every practitioner to call himself/herself a "criminal." In hot weather, practitioners were denied water or restroom use. In winter, practitioners were not allowed to wear hats or gloves, which induced frostbite on every practitioner's hands and feet. The guards often punished practitioners by locking them in solitary confinement, putting them under harsh management, applying torture instruments to them, forcing practitioners to recite the prison rules, depriving them of sleep, and forcing them to do hard labor. The daily workload assigned to the practitioners was so heavy that it could not be finished even in three days and nights; practitioners were forced to work more than 10 hours a day, even on Sundays. The guards had criminals who were so-called team heads of production or some committees monitor practitioners around the clock. The criminals could beat practitioners at will at any time. They dragged down the practitioner to the ground from the top level of the bunk beds and beat the practitioner. If a practitioner tried to speak, they would seal the practitioner's mouth. Their torture methods are vicious.
In 2003, the prison held another "brainwashing session." Three to five criminals monitored one practitioner. If they thought that the practitioner did not meet their requirement to give up the belief of Falun Dafa or write the required three statements, they would cruelly torture the practitioner. Physical punishments included forcing practitioners to run around a field for several hundred laps until the practitioner was too exhausted to move. The criminals then drag the practitioner and force him to keep running. Such torture lasted for several months. The prolonged torture left many practitioners with serious symptoms of illnesses. The guards told the practitioners that they should seek medical treatment since they were ill. They injected practitioners with drugs and forced practitioners to swallow pills. A 78-year-old elderly practitioner Yang Shouming was forced to stand in a "soldier posture" under the scorching hot sun for a long time. He fainted three times. There are more elderly practitioners like Mr. Yang who are under various torture and maltreatment.
Dozens of practitioners including Xu Tianfu, Luo Xiaoxing, Gan Jing, Yang Yourun, Gong Guanlei, and Wei Bing were subjected to harsh management and locked into solitary cells. The practitioners could not rest in the night. The long-term mistreatment caused these practitioners' health to deteriorate. Yet, the prison defamed the practitioners by saying, "See how they became after practicing Falun Gong." They also spread slanderous rumors that the practitioners purposely wounded themselves, did not treasure their own lives, and disrupted the prison orders. The perpetrators framed practitioners for numerous crimes. When they sent the practitioners whom they tortured to the edge of death to the clinic, they pretended to be good people who cared for the practitioners.
On the morning of September 1, 2005, the siren was activated in Deyang Prison. The prison was under lockdown. Anti-riot guards moved in and gathered the practitioners at the restricted management area of the 2nd team ward. Because they refused to call themselves "criminals", admit any wrongdoing, or accept any slanderous labels forced on practitioners by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party), many practitioners were subjected to the guards' brutal beatings. The guards used various torture methods on practitioners. Over 70 practitioners were locked into solitary cells. Every practitioner was monitored by 2-3 criminals who were all either murderers or committed serious crimes. The guards gave the criminals' orders, and the criminals carried them out. The guards made the criminals commit more crimes.
The guards put practitioners under continuous persecution. With the instructions from the 610 Office, the guards locked the most determined practitioners on the first floor. There were dozens of practitioners being forced to do hard labor at the workshop. The practitioners who were locked on the first floor were Yang Shouming, Li Xiaobo ( a well known good person), Chen Jingxi (Bachelor degree, an outstanding teacher), Zhang Wanyou, Yuan Xiaodong, Lv Zonghe, Liao Jianpu, Luo Jiangping, Lu Bingxin, Tang Kerong, Chen Jianhua, Bao Mingquan, An Keqin, Huang Keming, Li Tianguo and Wu Shihai etc..
Wu Shihai graduated from a university and was a high school teacher. He was sentenced to a forced labor camp twice for practicing Falun Gong and clarifying the truth. He has been secretly sent to a mental hospital and was injected with drugs to destroy his neural system. He was so severely injured from the brutal beatings that he was unable to speak and had difficulty walking. Whenever it was time to report numbers (the guards demand that the prisoners to report their numbers several times a day), Wu Shihai was cruelly tortured. The guards defamed and humiliated him, dragged or carried him in and out, or held him up above the floor and then forcefully threw him on the ground. Several criminals beat him at the same time. He was often starved. Recently, the perpetrators bound him to a torture instrument, handcuffed him and locked him into a solitary cell. He was only allowed to wear a thin layer of clothing, with almost no bedding. He was forced to sleep on the cold floor in the freezing winter.
The guards denied the visitation between practitioners and their families, did not allow communication through letters, and did not deposit the money sent by families to practitioners' accounts. The practitioners were requested to report their thoughts in writing. If a practitioner refused to write, he would face more punishment from 610 police.
This is the real reflection of so called of "humanity" defined by the evil Chinese Communist Party. Those who never lived in the CCP's society will find it difficult to truly know the darkness of the prisons and viciousness of CCP. It tortures you, beats you, humiliates you, tears your family apart, and destroys everything in your world. Yet, in the end, you are supposed to thank them.

Dafa practitioner Fan Huiying is sixty-six years old. She has a bachelor degree and was the assistant director of the political association in Qian'an City, Hebei Province. She started practicing Falun Gong in 1997. In January of 2001, she was sent to a brainwashing class and was detained there until the end of October. During that period, she was transferred back and forth from the brainwashing class to the detention center three times. She was handcuffed and chained, and beaten up by vicious policemen including Zhu, Hui Zhijiang and others. They also beat her hands with shoes. To protest the illegal detention, she went on a hunger strike. Nine days later, she became so weak that she was unable to care for herself. The detention center notified her family to take her home. Before she had completely recovered, she was repeatedly harassed and monitored by the police. At present, her ID card has been confiscated and she is not allowed to file the paperwork for retirement. In addition, they have not paid her salary since February of 2001.

1. [Yanzhou City, Shangdong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Illegally Arrested
A Falun Dafa practitioner from Yanzhou City in Shandong Province was illegally arrested by police while distributing truth-clarification materials. The police also confiscated from the practitioner more than 10 copies of truth-clarification materials yet to be distributed. The police failed to find anything when they went to ransack the practitioner's house. The practitioner was held in the police department for one night and was interrogated about the source of the truth-clarification materials. The police failed to get any information from the practitioner, who was then fined a fee of 500 yuanand released.
2. [Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Jizhi Currently Being Held in the Nanma Brainwashing Center of Zhuozhou City
Practitioners Ms. Liu Jizhi and her daughter, Ms. Wei Meiling from Zhuozhou City in Hebei Province, were taken from Beijing City to a hotel in another city on March 7, 2006, by police from the Baoding City Police Department. On the evening of March 28, they were taken to the Nanma Brainwashing Center of Zhuozhou City. That same night, Ms. Wei Meiling was released and taken home by family members while Ms. Liu Jizhi continued to be held in the Nanma Brainwashing Center of Zhuozhou City.
3. [Jilin Province] Ms. Li Cuizhi Taken to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp After Being Arrested Again
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Cuizhi, 50, lived on Qipan Street in Jilin City. In April 2005, she was arrested but walked away with righteous thoughts. She was then forced to leave home to avoid being arrested. She returned home in March 2006, when she was arrested again by police from the Qipan Street Police Station and then taken to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp of Changchun City in Jilin Province, where she is being tortured.

In Jilin Prison, he was severely persecuted. At present, he is suffering from severe lung tuberculosis due to the persecution and is in the Jilin City Prison Hospital.

Practitioner Ms. Guo Lanzhi from Chengdu City went to Tianfu Square to post truth-clarification materials on the evening of April 22, 2005. She was followed and arrested. She was later held in the No.2 Detention Center in Chengdu City. On April 26, police ransacked Ms. Guo Lanzhi's house and confiscated her Falun Dafa books, truth-clarification materials, and a reading machine that her son used for studying. Reportedly, the Qingyang District Court of Chengdu City secretly sentenced Ms. Guo Lanzhi to three and a half years of imprisonment on March 29, 2006.

On March 6, 2006, practitioners Ms. Lin Shujie and her siste,r Ms. Lin Shuhua from Jilin City, were arrested by police from the Jiuzhan Police Station in the Economic Development District of Jilin City. Later they were taken to the Jilin City Detention Center. They are still being held there and their family members have been prohibited from visiting them.
The two sisters lived in the Jiuzhan Candy Factory Residential District of the former Economic Development District. Ms. Lin Shujie is 48 and Ms. Lin Shuhua is 44.
8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] The No. 4 Division of Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp Still Persecuting Practitioner Mr. Wang Guoxiang
Practitioner Mr. Wang Guoxiang was a main target of persecution in the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp. Since Mr. Wang Guoxiang was the most steadfast practitioner among the 40 to 50 practitioners illegally held in this forced labor camp, the guards made special efforts to persecute him and tried to forcibly "transform" him.
On March 1 and 2, guards from the No. 4 Division of the forced labor camp handcuffed his wrists onto the side railings of the upper bunk of a bed and forced him to remain in a standing position for three to four days, forbidding him to fall asleep. After the handcuffs were removed, he was forced to sit on the bed and was watched by guards day and night for over 20 days, during which time he was forbidden to sleep.

11. [Guangdong Province] Police from the Shengzhou City 610 Office Colluded with Hengshui City Police to Arrest a Practitioner
At around 10:00 p.m. on the evening of March 26, 2006, the City Police Department Governance Security Chief Jia Shuangwan (male) led police officers and colluded with the Hengshui 610 Office police to jump over the wall and break into practitioner Mr. Yan Zhongshun's house, located in the Xiyangtan Village of Shengzhou City. There were at least 10 officers involved altogether, all wearing plainclothes.
At that time, Mr. Yan Zhongshun's wife and younger daughter were asleep in the home. When they woke up, they were threatened to not make a sound. The mother and daughter were frightened and did not know what to do. When Jia Shuangwan (male) asked about Mr. Yan Zhongshun, Mr. Yan's wife realized that it was the police from the Governance Security Division of the Shengzhou City Police Department coming to arrest her husband. (Jia had gone to Mr. Yan's house several times before to arrest Mr. Yan, so Mr. Yan's wife recognized him.) The officers were divided into five groups of two to start ransacking rooms of the house, without showing any identification. They turned the house into a big mess, tossing things all over the place. They found several Falun Dafa books but nothing else.

12. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province]Practitioner Ms. Li A'yi Held for Fifteen Days and Her Subsequent Whereabouts Unknown
Practitioner Ms. Li A'yi from the Longquanyi District of Chengdu City was illegally arrested around February 22, 2006, when she went to visit her relatives in Xinjin County of Chengdu City. She was held for 15 days and not allowed to return home. Meanwhile, the Residential District Committee for the Telecommunication Bureau located in the Longquanyi District on Dudong Road, where Ms. Li lived, was notified to take Ms. Li's bedding home, while Ms. Li was taken to Chengdu City. As to where Ms. Li is, even her family members do not know.

Practitioner Mr. Liu Zhaohui worked as a staff member for the Yutian County Broadcasting and Television Bureau. Because he openly clarified truth to the officials at his workplace, they reported him to the police and he was arrested at the end of 2004. Police confiscated Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials and CDs when they ransacked his home. He was sentenced to two years of forced labor and is currently being held in the Handan Forced Labor Camp. His wife, Wang Lixia, divorced him in 2005.

Practitioner Ms. Zhao Yuhong from Zhaoyuan City in Shandong Province was "illegally sentenced" to four years of imprisonment. Recently, when she had served the full term and should have been released, police again arrested her and took her to the Zhaoyuan Brainwashing Center, where she continues to be tortured.
Ms. Zhao Yuhong has been inhumanely persecuted because she steadfastly practices Falun Dafa. In the past several years, almost all of her time has been spent in the forced labor camp, brainwashing center, or prison. Due to the persecution, she has lost feeling in both of her hands, and she has also lost the ability to take care of herself. In 2002 she was sentenced to four years of imprisonment and was held in the Women's Prison in Shandong Province in Jinan City. Recently, when she had served her full term and was up for release, her 80-year-old mother went to the prison to pick her up. However, her mother did not expect that a group of police officers from Zhaoyuan City would already be waiting there. They deceived Ms. Zhao Yuhong's mother by taking her to the side, while they arrested Ms. Zhao Yuhong and took her to the Zhaoyuan City Brainwashing Center where she continues to be held.

16. [Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Additional Information on the Persecution of Practitioners Mr. Bai Shaohua, Mr. Ma Wanli and Mr. Li Xupeng
On March 3, 2006, practitioners Mr. Ma Wanli and Mr. Li Xupeng went to visit practitioner Mr. Bai Shaohua at his apartment. Late that night, the landlord locked the door from the outside. The next day, March 4, a group of police officers broke in. As soon as they entered, they pressed Mr. Ma Wanli and Mr. Li Xupeng to the ground. Mr. Li Xupeng called out loudly, "Falun Dafa is Good." Mr. Bai Shaohua called out loudly, "Beating is forbidden." Police confiscated four laptops and five or six cell phones, and also took Mr. Ma Wanli and Mr. Li Xupeng away. (Later it was learned that they were held in the Qinghe Detention Center of Haidian District in Beijing City.) They locked Mr. Bai Shaohua, his mother, and his five-year old daughter in their apartment.
From March 3 to 6, six to ten police officers at a time monitored Mr. Bai's place.
At around 6:00 p.m. on March 6, two people from the Xinjiang Autonomous Region came to take Mr. Bai Shaohua to the Xinjiang Autonomous Region. At that time, Mr. Bai Shaohua was still quite weak and he could not walk. After Mr. Bai was taken away, all of the police officers left. The landlord told Mr. Bai's mother to move out in three days.
On March 11, Mr. Bai Shaohua's mother and his five-year-old daughter left the apartment and were forced to wander about. On March 23, the 610 Office of Xinjiang Autonomous Region put Mr. Bai Shaohua on the train to Beijing City. The three of them are now wandering about to avoid arrest. Mr. Bai Shaohua's is even weaker physically and he cannot walk.
17. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Mr. Chen Xirui Sentenced to Forced Labor
Practitioner Mr. Chen Xirui from Chengdu City was distributing truth-clarification materials near the Hejiangting District of Chengdu City on December 19, 2005. He was reported and then arrested by police from the Shuijingfang Police Station of Chengdu City and from the Jinjiang Police Department. He was taken to and held in the Pi County Detention Center of Chengdu City and later sentenced to one year and three months of forced labor.
18. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Sui Yumin from the Babaishang District of Daqing City Arrested
On the afternoon of March 28, 2006, practitioner Ms. Sui Yumin from Babaishang District of Daqing City was arrested. Prior to her arrest, three practitioners--Ms. Zhou Guilan, Mr. Zhang Jingji and Ms. Xuan Guoying--were also arrested.

On March 9, 2006, practitioner Mr. Xinshirong from Taipingzhuang Village, Hongquan Township, Qianguo County, Songyuan City in Jilin Province, was arrested by police officer Xu Biao (male) from Chianguo County State Security Division, police officer Wu Mingli (male), and other police officers from the Hongquan Township Police Station. He was tortured in the Qianguo County Detention Center until his life was endangered. (Clearwisdom.net) Regarding the CCP's crimes of harvesting organs from living Falun gong practitioners, on April 18, Taiwan Legislative Committee Member Lai Ching-Te sponsored an interim resolution for the legislative Yuan to pass. The resolution urges international human rights organizations and the World Health Organization to investigate labor camps, prisons and medical facilities in China, and called on the Chinese Communist regime to stop such abhorrent crimes and publicly examine its organ transplant policies. The resolution was cosponsored by 54 legislative committee members from all parties. After being reviewed by the chair, it will be submitted to a related committee for discussion next Tuesday.

In the morning, a number of legislative members, including Lai Ching-te, Huang Chao-hui and Tien Chiou-chin attended a press conference outside the Legislative Yuan to "Condemn the CCP's Atrocities of Harvesting Organs from Living Falun Gong Practitioners and Urge the United Nation to investigate the Evil Crime". At the site, several volunteers reenacted the organ removal operation from living persons in China. The bloody sheet, the desperate struggle from "practitioners" and the rampant clamor of "Chinese policemen and doctors" demonstrated to the public this extremely abhorrent crime taking place in China.

Taiwan Falun Dafa Association chairperson Chang Ching-hsi played recordings of undercover reporters' photo interviews of many major Chinese hospitals. During the interviews, a number of Chinese doctors confirmed that they have many organs from donors in their 20's and 30's, and their livers are whole livers. They also claimed that they now work overtime performing operations around the clock. If patients want transplants, these doctors said, they should take this opportunity, as organ supplies will decrease dramatically by May.
The phone interview play shocked the attendees of the press conference. Legislative committee members in succession condemned the atrocities.
Member Huang Chao-hui advised people to think it over before they go to China for a transplant, as it is not safe in this rule-by-decree communist regime.
Member Tien Chiou-chin initially felt the organ removal issue was nearlr impossible as it seemed too brutal to believe. When reminded of the investigation of a Nazi concentration camp 60 years ago, when the Nazis showed the world a peaceful, free environment, he realized that the Chinese Communist regime is now doing the same trick to cover its crimes and deceive the world.
Member LIAO KUO-TUNG strongly condemned these doctors who violate the vows of medical professionals to carry out operations to remove organs from living practitioners.
Member Wang Yu-ting said that human rights are universal values. Though civilians have to wait if they want to have an organ transplant in Taiwan, they will be safe as the practice in Taiwan is more regulated and observes both medical and ethical standards. If they go to Mainland China for a transplant, they may have permanent regret if the organs turn out to be from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Falun Gong practitioners have been subjected to numerous abuses, including torture, execution and organ harvesting. Falun Gong members have been imprisoned because of their beliefs and are routinely subjected to brutal treatment in inhumane conditions.
Many of my constituents have friends and relatives in China who have been arrested and are being persecuted because of their association with Falun Gong. One of those is Jian Hua Lu, a prisoner in Liao Ning women's prison.
Please do what you can to stop the Communist Chinese government's brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

Solemn Statement
I began practicing Falun Dafa in March 1999. Through studying the Fa and doing the exercises, I benefited both in mind and body. After the persecution began in July 1999, the local 610 Office, Administrative Office, Village Committee, and guards often came to harass and pressure me not to practice or go to Beijing to appeal. On April 15, 2000, my wife and I went to Beijing and we did the Falun Dafa sitting meditation in Tiananmen Square. We were later arrested and sent back to our local police station and detained for 15 days. I signed my name on the detention paper. After 15 days, they transferred my wife and I to a hotel basement where we were jailed for six months. Due to my fear and attachment to comfort, I gave in to the evil and wrote a statement indicating I would not practice or appeal. I also gave in to the pressure to say some slanderous things about Teacher and Dafa. At the end of 2000, the authorities said to me, "If you promise in writing that you won't go to appeal during the Chinese New Year, we will release you." I said nothing, but signed my name.
On July 27, 2001, my wife went to distribute truth-clarification materials and were arrested. The second day, my village party secretary came to ask if I still practiced Falun Gong and I replied, "Yes." He then kicked and beat me, and also called the political and legal committee secretary and administrative office director, asking them to send people to arrest me. This gang dragged me to the car and took me to the police station. I was then put in shackles. They beat me and would not allow me to sleep at night. They also handcuffed me to a window for nearly one month. In the end, I was forced to say, "I will no longer practice." I hereby solemnly declare null and void everything I said, did and wrote before that did not conform to Dafa. I will redouble my efforts and make up for the loss I brought to Dafa. I will do the three things well and be a qualified Dafa disciple.

In 2000, the evil was very rampant in persecuting practitioners and I was sentenced to three years of forced labor "re-education." At that time I did not have a good understanding of the Fa, plus I had fear, so I gave up cultivation. I also wrote statements criticizing Teacher with words copied from a newspaper. What I did helped the evil and disgraced Dafa. One month later, I was released on medical parole. Two months later I was unconditionally released. I was deceived by the persecutors and I even sent them a flag showing my gratitude. Now, after studying the Fa, I realized what I did before was no different than committing a crime.
