(Clearwisdom.net) The Huludao Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province, now named the Huludao City Labor Reeducation Administration Institute, is a concentration camp where Falun Gong practitioners are brutally tortured. Right now, about twenty practitioners are still illegally detained there. Practitioner Yang Jiangwei from Suizhong County has been on a hunger strike for more than one hundred days, since July 5, and inmates are assigned to force-feed him on a daily basis.
Practitioner Fan Dezhen from the Yangjiazhangzi Economic Develop Zone in Huludao City was illegally arrested at work on September 17 and sent to the Huludao Forced Labor Camp. He has been on a hunger strike since the abduction. His family went to the labor camp many times but was not allowed to meet with him. This is the second time he was sent to a forced labor camp. Mr. Fan was savagely tortured and is now at the brink of death.
Because the labor camp strictly blocks information, the current conditions of Yang Jiangwei and Fan Dezhen are unknown. Their families and friends are forbidden from visiting them. Following are details:
Thirty-six-year-old Yang Jiangwei is illegally held at Division 1, in the strictly controlled group that holds newly abducted and determined practitioners. It is located in the camp's No. 1 Building. Yang Jiangwei is an employee of the Suizhong County Electric Power Installation Corporation. Because he persisted in practicing Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, he was arrested numerous times in the past six years and was persecuted at the Huludao Forced Labor Camp for nearly five years. In May 2003, Yang Jiangwei was at the brink of death and underwent major surgery. The labor camp authorities forced the doctor to take out the stitches before the wound was healed, and they took Yang Jiangwei back to the labor camp to force-feed him. Yang Jiangwei's father, sister and friend Yao Yanhui went to the labor camp and petitioned for Yang Jiangwei's release on medical parole. The labor camp authorities called the police who arrested the three people. After Yang Jiangwei's release on July 4, 2005, the police went to Yang Jiangwei's place of employment. The perpetrators arrested him, ransacked his home and sent him to the Huludao Forced Labor Camp for the third time.

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 23, 2005, Daqing City police officers illegally arrested more than thirty Falun Dafa practitioners. All of the female practitioners were sent to Daqing Detention Center in Heilongjiang Province.
The majority of practitioners at Daqing Detention Center are tortured severely. Ms. Tang Zengye and other practitioners were confined to iron chairs, with both hands and feet cuffed to hoops, rendering the practitioner unable to move. At that time, the temperature in Daqing rapidly declined. The police opened up the windows while it was raining, allowing the cold wind and rain to blow directly in on the practitioners in the iron chairs. Because the practitioners did not cooperate with the persecutors, they were not allowed to use the toilet. Some practitioners had their periods, and the police used despicable ways to torture them. Most of the practitioners were unable to move after being released from the iron chairs.
Ms. Tang Zengye is now on a hunger strike protesting the illegal detention
and torture, and is extremely emaciated. The guards instigated the other
prisoners to torment her during force-feedings, including slapping her face and
smashing her head with the iron basin used during this painful torture.
At the moment, at least eight practitioners, including Tang Zengye, are on a
hunger strike and their lives are in danger.

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa Disciple Zheng Hongjun, 38, lives in Hongwei Village, Chengfeng District, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. His address is Room 502, Unit 3 of Building No. 3-4.
At around 4:00 a.m. on September 23, 2005, more than twenty policemen from Babaishang Police Department and Tiexi Police Department arrived in three police cars and surrounded Zheng's building. Six to seven policemen rushed into Zheng's home claiming that a crime occurred in Building No. 1 and that they needed to interview his family.
Zheng's father was very cautious and refused to open the door. So the police began to break down the door. Finally at around 6:00 a.m., the police managed to completely break down the door. Without giving any reasons, they arrested Zheng, who refused to cooperate and began to yell "Falun Dafa is good." Six to seven police officers began beating Zheng while they dragged him down five flights of stairs to the outside. The police also sealed off Zheng's shop, which is located on the third floor of District 3 in the Dewei Computer Center of Daqing City, and stole all the goods from the shop.
Zheng was only wearing a shirt and a pair of pants, and had bare feet when he was forced into the police car. His brothers and sisters tried to stop the police and as a result, were also beaten. Zheng's father was so frightened that he collapsed on the bed. Zheng's 65-year-old mother was terrified. After watching what happened to her son, and because of his continued persecution, she developed a heart condition.
Zheng's wife was forced to divorce him, leaving Zheng to take care of his daughter, who had been paralyzed for ten years. When she saw her father was arrested, she was so terrified that she held on to the bed sheets, cried and almost fell to the floor. Zheng's mother then had to look after her granddaughter.
The neighbors witnessed what happened and said, "How can you call them police? They are bandits. This kid has done absolutely nothing to bother anyone, let alone the police."
Zheng has been illegally detained at the Daqing City Detention center for more than twenty days, and he is currently on a hunger strike. It is said that he has been tortured very badly. Investigation is needed to confirm Zheng's current situation. Zheng's parents and daughter have suffered tremendously. Living through a day for them seems like suffering through a year. His daughter often touches her heart and mutters "Daddy! Daddy!" while she constantly stares at her father's empty bed.
We hope kind-hearted people and organizations both inside and outside of China can offer support. We call for the immediate end of the persecution of Falun Gong, the unconditional release of Zheng Hongjun and the immediate cessation of the inhumane and barbaric crimes committed by followers of the Chinese Communist Party towards innocent people.

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Yuan Lin is detained in the Beijing Women's Prison, where she is being tortured, and her life is in danger. Ms. Yuan is an employee of Beijing University. When she arrived at the Women's Prison, she was beaten and kicked with her legs tied up. As a result, she was not able to walk for over a month.
When Ms. Yuan learned about Teacher's new articles, she wrote them down to share with some fellow practitioners. A "collaborator" Guo (female) informed the prison guards. Then they started "group training" for all practitioners who were found carrying Teacher's new articles.
In April 2003, twenty to thirty prison guards surrounded the prisoners in a circle, and declared they were putting Ms. Yuan and six others under "group training." Ms. Yuan stood up and shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" Fellow practitioner Ms. Gong Ruiping also stood up, and shouted, "Falun Dafa is righteous!" They were then put through several months of torture.
At the 2004 annual prison meeting of all inmates, Ms. Yuan stood up again to expose the persecution. She told them, "The prison guards in the Tenth Ward beat people and deprive them of the right to sleep." Ms. Gong Ruiping from the Eighth Ward also stood up and said, "I have proof because the wounds are still on my legs." The prison guards were all shocked. After several seconds delay, they jumped on them.
Ms. Yuan Lin is still being tortured. Her whole body is covered with wounds, and she is as thin as a skeleton. She has been force-fed for an extensive period of time and her life is in danger.
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Zhao Huiru from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province was repeatedly subjected to illegal detainment and torture. The torture caused her to not be able to walk normally, to not be able to focus her eyes, drool constantly and become absent minded. She passed away on September 7, 2005.
Ms. Zhao Huiru, who was in her 50s, was the principal of a kindergarten in Shenyang City's Huanggu District, and she lived on the opposite side of Huanggu District Fourth Courtyard. In 1996, while receiving treatment in a hospital for coronary disease, she started practicing Falun Dafa. She immediately experienced a complete reversal of her health condition by practicing the five exercises and studying the Fa, so she was released from the hospital. After that, she became a volunteer instructor at a practice site in the Liaoning Province Supply and Marketing Cooperative. After July 20, 1999, when the persecution against Falun Dafa began, Zhao Huiru went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong many times and was arrested and persecuted by Shenhe District's National Security Chief Zhao Hongtao.
In early 2001, Zhao Huiru was arrested again in Yingkou along with practitioners Li Fengjuan, Wang Lige, and others by Zhao Hongtao and other police officers from the Daxi Police Station. Zhao Huiru was sent by Zhao Hongtao to a forced labor camp for three years. During the interrogation, the police used torture. As a result of the beatings one of Zhao Huiru's fingers on her right hand was broken, large locks of her hair were pulled out, her clothing was soaked with blood and she couldn't walk. After a few months of treatment in the hospital she was taken home by her family. By that time, her hair had turned completely white.
Not long later after Zhao Huiru came home, she was again arrested and imprisoned in the Longshan Reformatory, where she was tortured until she became critically ill. At that point she was again taken back home by her family. She was tortured to the point of being mentally disoriented and drooling uncontrollably. After she recovered, she published a solemn statement on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website, and she was monitored and harassed by personnel from her residential committee and local police station.
Later, Zhao Huiru's son wanted to go abroad, but he was not allowed because his mother was a Dafa practitioner. After that, his attitude became bad toward his mother. Having suffered greatly in both body and mind, Zhao Huiru passed away on September 7, 2005. Before she passed away, she quit the CCP's Youth League.

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Zheng Chaoshu, 57, was a retired middle school teacher in Da'an Township, Suining City, Sichuan Province. His many ailments were all cured after he began practicing Falun Dafa in 1996.
He shared his understandings with fellow practitioners in January 2000 and was later reported to the authorities. Officers from the township station detained him for eight days in Zhong District Detention Center. He was released after authorities extorted 2,000 yuan from him.
In August 2000, he was detained overnight in the township police station and had an additional 500 yuan extorted from him. The Zhong District Education Department threatened him in 2001 that if he still practiced Falun Dafa, they would stop paying his pension. His children were afraid that he would lose his pension, so they wrote the three statements for him behind his back. Mr. Zheng Chaoshu was very regretful after learning of this, and soon after had a stroke. He died on December 6, 2001.
Ms. Liu Renshu, 50, lived in Tian'gongmiao Community, Chuanshan District, Suining City, Sichuan Province. Her many illnesses disappeared after she began practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. She began to clarify the truth and pass out flyers once the persecution began.
In July 2000, police from Chuanshan Station ransacked her home, detained her for more than fifty days because they found a copy of the book Zhuan Falun, and extorted three thousand yuan from her. Later, police and lawless officials continually harassed her at home, threatened her, and caused huge mental and physical pressure. She died on January 2, 2003.
Ms. Song Huaiying, 34, was a practitioner from Dahuang Village, Yuankang Town, Linzhou City, Henan Province. She went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa when the persecution started in 1999. She escaped after being arrested. After returning home she was constantly harassed and threatened by local officials. As a result she died on June 29, 2004.
(Clearwisdom.net) On October 24, 2005, Falun Dafa practitioners in
Thailand came to the Chinese Embassy to deliver a "Falun Dafa Association
Announcement" that was published on October 9, 2005. The announcement
warned those persons who joined the persecution of Falun Gong to stop the
persecution, abandon the evil path, and choose to be good, to ensure a future
free from punishment for their crimes.
The practitioners from Thailand read the announcement in front of the Embassy.
The Announcement said:
"The persecution of persons based solely on their practice of the
principles of "Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance" is
unconscionable. At the beginning of this persecution, many high-ranking
officials in the government and the CCP disagreed with Jiang's policy of
persecution, or dealt with the persecution passively. Some even resisted. Many
high-ranking officials also practiced Falun Gong. During the past six years,
through peaceful resistance and a courageous degree of endurance, Falun Gong
practitioners have clarified the truth to the people the world over. People who
were previously deceived have awakened or are in the process of learning the
facts. As a result, they have refused to join the persecution."
"Ever since the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist
Party, Chinese people have more clearly recognized the nature of the CCP and
the evil nature of the persecution. More than 5 million have withdrawn from the
CCP and its related organizations on the Internet. Heaven's destruction of the
CCP is a historical inevitability. Gods must punish those criminals who have
sinned against Falun Dafa. Those who refuse to do the right thing and instead
continue to follow Jiang's scoundrel regime's persecution policies will be
severely punished as perpetrators of unforgivable crimes."

Pictures of the different cruel torture methods used on Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) were displayed in prominent positions. Photos of the spread of Falun Gong in all parts of the world and the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the CCP were also exhibited.

There were streams of pedestrians on Saturday. Some practitioners talked with passersby and others demonstrated the exercises. The peaceful music touched people's hearts. A lot of people watched the demonstration of the five sets of Falun Gong exercises for a long time. The atmosphere was serene and peaceful and people seemed to feel the calling of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, as well as practitioners' perseverance and unyielding spiritual strength.
In front of the photos of the cruel torture, people were shocked to see examples of the persecution which is taking place in China. Many people carefully read the contents of the exhibition boards and walked up to sign the statement condemning the CCP and expressing support for the practitioners.

People were eager to learn the truth. One German man, who has been to China, was deceived and poisoned by the lies, rumors and slander the CCP's propaganda machine has waged against Falun Gong. He continued asking questions and circled our exhibition several times, talking to several practitioners to find out more. After one or two hours he repeatedly reminded the practitioners to send him emails, and he took some Chinese language materials for his friends.
An activity organizer from Leeds passed by our exhibition and was very interested. She invited Falun Gong practitioners to Leeds to participate in a three-day activity in November to introduce the truth of Falun Gong from different aspects, including the effect of curing illness, Falun Gong practitioners' resistance to the persecution and the evil essence of the CCP.

(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of October 21, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners in Wisconsin participated in the Homecoming Parade at the University of Wisconsin in Madison for the first time. The spectators were surprised to see the beautifully decorated Falun Gong float and gave it applause and praise, such as: "It's so beautiful!" "Absolutely beautiful!"

Some practitioners demonstrated the exercises on the float, while others demonstrated the exercises as they marched in the procession. Some spectators were already familiar with Falun Dafa and held up their fingers in a V shape wishing practitioners success. Some told Falun Gong practitioners, "Falun Gong is great." Others had not yet heard about Falun Dafa, and were eager to obtain printed materials. Some people took a "Falun Dafa Reader" and asked about the local practice sites.
Even the participants of a group behind Falun Gong also asked for flyers. Some Chinese people received flyers and said "Thank you" in Chinese. When Falun Gong reached the end point of the parade, a lot of spectators surrounded them and the practitioners distributing flyers had a real busy time.

(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of October 7, the Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition, sponsored by the Belgian Falun Gong Association, had its opening ceremony in the town of Riemst, Belgium. The exhibition was held with great support from the Riemst Bailiff and councilor Mr. Peumans. St. Serverinus Church, with a history of over a thousand years and the cultural center of this town, was specially chosen as the venue.
At the opening ceremony, the exhibition hall was crowded with visitors from Belgium and Holland. Mr. Peumans said in the opening speech, "I am very happy to hold this art exhibition here. This place has just been redecorated, making it very suitable for this purpose. Everyone of us should enjoy the freedom to choose our own belief. However, today, in this century, it is really unbelievable that such inhuman persecution is still happening against Falun Gong practitioners. I am against torture." He also expressed his sincere wish that, "It would be very good if more people could get to know the truth about Falun Gong by visiting this exhibition. I wish everyone in Riemst would come. I hope the beauty and compassion of this art exhibition can be brought into every corner of our town." In the end, he encouraged Falun Gong practitioners to hold this Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition in other cities and towns.

Theo van Boven, the former UN special rapporteur on torture, also made a visit especially for this exhibition. Professor Theo van Boven is a world-renowned professor of International Law.
During his speech at the opening ceremony, Theo van Boven said, "We should respect human beings' beliefs. We should not abuse others. While I was working as the UN special rapporteur on torture, I reported the situation of those Falun Gong practitioners who are being tortured. I also brought many of these cases to the attention of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and asked them to explain. Though we got some replies, they either denied the truth or gave a very superficial answer. The CCP regime especially uses the forced labor camps and psychiatric hospitals to torture Falun Gong practitioners and other dissidents. They describe those people as anti-social and anti-scientific, then use this excuse to suppress them. When we see these artworks, we can experience the inhuman torture that Falun Gong practitioners have suffered."
Professor Theo van Boven pointed out, "This art exhibition should tour around the whole world. Let people be aware that this is still happening in China." He also talked about the current situation, "I have discovered that today western society has developed many economic relationships with China. They all want to earn money. However, they do not see the human rights aspect, and this is very dangerous. We have to look at the end of this road: What really matters is how we human beings treat each other, not economic power."
Mr. Matthias from the Belgium Falun Dafa Association thanked everyone for their support. He gave a brief introduction of the exhibition and explained its purpose. He said he hoped people could understand the truth of Falun Gong and the on-going persecution in China.
The exhibition hall was crowded with visitors from all walks of life. They
viewed the works and listened to practitioners' explanations.
This art exhibition attracted many people. Members of the Dutch branch of the human rights organization International Amnesty attended as well as a famous economist and his family members. This art exhibition will continue for two weekends.

(Clearwisdom.net) When I clarify the truth to people in Mainland China, I find that people often use the arrests of protestors in other countries as excuses why the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) should be allowed to persecute the Chinese people. They say that "all crows are just as black under the sky." If Western countries can arrest protestors, then it's all right for the CCP to abuse human rights. These Chinese people feel justified to be indifferent about this unprecedented persecution that is currently happening in China.
The CCP's lips are shut tight regarding its own human rights abuses, yet year after year, it "exposes" in its media the protests in Western democratic countries. To the people of China, it almost seems that the CCP is a defender of human rights, seeking human rights for people in Western countries.
Recently I sent some truth-clarification photos to a friend in Mainland China. After seeing them, he asked me if I knew of an "Anti-War Mother" who went to President Bush's ranch and the White House to protest, and who was subsequently arrested by the police. My friend meant to tell me that all countries are the same when it comes to human rights.
I visited a few China-based websites and saw that this "Anti-War Mother" was the focus of reporting by Chinese media. No wonder my friend was so certain.
I found a picture of Cindy Sheehan being arrested. To my surprise, she was lifted up and was smiling from ear to ear. She was charged with demonstrating without a permit. The police arrested her after three warnings. The contrast between her arrest and how Falun Gong practitioners are treated on Tiananmen Square is quite astounding. I sent the following two pictures to my friend, wondering what he thought.

Actually, my friend's reaction was pretty typical of Mainland Chinese people whose thinking is heavily shaped by the CCP. It reflects many incorrect notions, such as the following:
The Chinese people can only recognize the brutal and evil nature of the CCP and understand this persecution with rationality and clarity in their own thinking when they jump out of the frame of thought distorted by the CCP's brainwashing. They must separate themselves from the CCP. Only then can they distinguish the good from the bad, the kind from the evil. Only then can they work together to terminate this persecution, make the right choice for their lives, and contribute to the long-term well-being of the Chinese nation.
(Clearwisdom.net) RFA reported on October 24 that many Chinese officials who are involved in the persecution of Falun Gong have been sued during their overseas visits. The Falun Dafa Association recently made an announcement advising Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials to stop persecuting Falun Gong; otherwise, they will be sued if they travel abroad.
Since the announcement was made on October 9, practitioners around the world have read it to Chinese embassies and consulates, or official representative organizations. In Brisbane, Australia, officials at the Chinese consulate sprayed water on practitioners reading the announcement on the street outside.
In San Francisco, around thirty practitioners gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate, and practitioner Duan Li read:
"The persecution of persons based solely on their practice of the principles of "Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance" is unconscionable. At the beginning of this persecution, many high-ranking officials in the government and the CCP disagreed with Jiang's policy of persecution, or dealt with the persecution passively. Some even resisted. Many high-ranking officials also practiced Falun Gong. During the past six years, through peaceful resistance and a courageous degree of endurance, Falun Gong practitioners have clarified the truth to the people the world over. People who were previously deceived have awakened or are in the process of learning the facts. As a result, they have refused to join the persecution."
The announcement pointed out that during recent years, practitioners overseas have sued over a dozen Chinese officials, including Jiang Zemin, who are involved in the persecution, for their crimes against humanity, torture, and genocide.
The announcement stated, "From today on, overseas Falun Gong practitioners will file civil or criminal lawsuits against all important government or CCP officials who participate in or continue to implement the persecution of Falun Gong and as a result, commit new crimes in addition to those they have already perpetrated against Falun Gong."
Ms. Yiyan Huang, a practitioner participating in the event, said that the persecution against Falun Gong has lasted more than six years. Practitioners wish to awaken the conscience of the killers.
Ms. Huang, "We practitioners are compassionate towards others. Though you have committed wrongdoings before for whatever reasons, you are given an opportunity to correct it. Thus the announcement was made to notify those Chinese officials to stop committing wrongdoings."
After the reading the announcement, a practitioner put it in an envelope and took it to the reception room of the consulate to be transferred to the General Consulate. One consulate official threw the letter outdoors and said continuously, "Don't want."

(Clearwisdom.net) Sending forth righteous thoughts is one of the three things that Teacher asks us to do during Fa-rectification. As Dafa practitioners, we should take this seriously and not treat it with a human mindset.
In the beginning, my mind was not calm when sending forth righteous thoughts. Two out of the four times daily when practitioners globally send forth righteous thoughts together correspond to lunch and dinner time where I live. With a human mind, I worried that my family members wouldn't understand if I were to set everything aside and send forth righteous thoughts. I felt as if I was doing something wrong. As a result, I did not do well in cultivation because I didn't meet the requirements of a Fa-rectification Dafa practitioner. Even after I tried to arrange everything properly, my family members still did not understand me. Sometimes when I sent forth righteous thoughts at other hours, they would say hurtful things to aggravate me. I knew this was happening because I had human thoughts and attachments.
Teacher tells us that, "By remaining unmoved you could handle all situations." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2005 Canada Fa Conference") I looked within to eliminate the attachment of fear and other interference. I told myself to be firm and continue sending forth righteous thoughts. At the same time, I was able to do well with the everyday things I was supposed to do.
I used the opportunity to find where I fell short in cultivation, get rid of my human notions, and strengthen my righteous thoughts. As a result, my home environment improved. When it was time to send forth righteous thoughts, my family members would remind me. If I was busy doing things, they would help me finish up so I could send forth righteous thoughts. I realized that no matter what, we have to always meet the requirements of Fa-rectification and have a firm belief in Dafa.
Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2001 Canada Fa Conference" that,
"It's only because you are a great cultivator. So when you send forth that thought it couldn't have been sent by anyone but a great cultivator. That is why when some students use this ability, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. That's where the problem lies."
We should ask ourselves, "Is it a human being sitting there sending forth righteous thoughts or a great cultivator?"
The process of sending forth righteous thoughts has helped me to gradually improve, from not being able to calm down to being able to enter tranquility with a righteous mind. In the beginning when I was not able to calm my mind, I was seriously interfered with, and I had to constantly correct my state of mind. Sometimes I used so much effort to silently recite the word Mie that I was exhausted afterwards. I felt like I was completing a task and knew it was wrong. I then spent more time studying the Fa and improving my xinxing. When I clarified the truth to people, I also sent forth righteous thoughts. Now I have a better understanding of sending forth righteous thoughts. Teacher told us,
"You should focus your attention and your effort, your mind has to be absolutely clear and rational, the force of your thoughts needs to be focused and strong, with an air of supremacy and of destroying all evil in the cosmos." ("Righteous Thoughts")
When I am completely calm and enter into tranquility when sending forth
righteous thoughts, I feel as though my body is "wrapped up" in
energy. I also feel that I am sending out energy from the cells in every part of
my body and that I have entered another dimension doing something divine and
important. Sometimes I send forth righteous thoughts for a long time and do not
feel exhausted. Deep in my heart,
I sense that I am fulfilling a mission. I later required myself to do better. In
addition to the four times of sending forth righteous thoughts globally, I also
send forth righteous thoughts five more times every day. Before going out to
clarify the truth, I send forth righteous thoughts at certain targets. I also
send forth righteous thoughts to rectify myself and any evil interference. As a
result, I feel at ease using different approaches to clarify the truth. Sending
forth righteous thoughts makes my righteous thoughts stronger. My attachments
have become fewer. I feel that I am getting wiser.
On the May Day Holiday, I went to Beijing to send forth righteous thoughts. Starting at 6:00 a.m., I sent forth righteous thoughts every hour, no matter where I was. At noon I arrived at Tiananmen Square and sat down to send forth righteous thoughts. Then I stood up, walked a few steps and took out a piece of paper from my bag. A plainclothes policeman immediately rushed over to me. I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the demons behind him and pretended to ask him for directions. As a result, he just left. I continued to send forth righteous thoughts.
For the whole day, I sent forth righteous thoughts. When I was walking to the Beijing Railroad Station in the evening, my left shoulder and neck suddenly felt stiff and I couldn't move. I felt a sharp pain, and realized that it was the persecution imposed on me by the evil. I immediately sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil and rotten demons. Close to ten minutes later, my shoulder and neck felt normal again. I thought that my loopholes were being taken advantage of since I slacked off at the end. I adjusted my mind and sent forth strong righteous thoughts. Later, I walked out of the station in an open and upright manner.
As a matter of fact, Teacher has told us why we should do the three things well:
"It might seem that you have done what you should do for Dafa, when actually, you are doing it for your comprehensive Consummation and return....think about it, if under the greatest mercy since the beginning of heaven and earth and under Buddha's infinite grace you still can't do well, how could there be another chance? Cultivation and Fa-rectification are serious. Whether you are able to treasure this period of time is, in fact, a matter of whether you can be responsible to yourselves."( "Fa-Rectification Period Dafa Disciples")
Fa-rectification is still happening today. Teacher has told us everything we should know. As to how to handle things, it is up to the individual's understanding of the Fa. There are differences in the results depending on our minds. The fewer attachments one has, the better is one's cultivation state and the better the environment. Let us diligently progress together so that Teacher will be happy to see us. Let us walk on the right path to return home.

(Clearwisdom.net) After a recent incident of persecution against Falun Dafa practitioners in Heilongjiang Province, many of our fellow practitioners actively shared their personal understandings via the Internet. The persecution incident caused some repercussions in our region. As a result, some of the Fa study-groups decided to stop for a while. It was suggested that communicating with each other over the phone was to be restricted to only one-way, and participants in Fa study groups were to be kept to a minimum, etc.
In 1999, when the Chinese government first launched the campaign to persecute Falun Dafa, practitioners got together to exchange their views whenever a problem came up. We always took the Fa as our guide, taking it to be the reference for evaluating and assessing situations. However, it has been a while since we last got together to do this. All of us have been busy, dedicating almost all of our time to truth-clarification work, hence neglecting our personal cultivation.
Presently, many of our practitioners have encountered severe persecution. Post-event analysis usually revealed superficial reasons - such as the lack of security awareness over the telephone by not using one-way communication, there were too many participants in Fa-study groups, etc. It seems as if we have addressed all of the persecution caused by these issues.
I feel that the series of events that led to the recent persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners was not simply an issue of one person's human notions, or one coordinator's loopholes. It was more an issue of the practitioners failing to act as one body, as well as not looking at the issue from Dafa's perspective.
Last year, when the persecution of Dafa practitioners in our region was at its peak, almost everyone inadvertently pointed a finger at the coordinator. Few looked inward to find out whether or not the whole process was in accordance with the Fa. With the exception of one or two persons who had tried to point out the problem, almost everyone complained behind others' backs, and did not proactively take steps to prevent the problem from happening. And when something did happen, they started listing the mistakes that other practitioners made.
We should not superficially evaluate the whole issue after the event, and definitely not find fault with one person or the coordinator. Rather, we should use the compassion of cultivators to correct this problem. By doing so, we are truly protecting the Fa. Protecting the Fa is not the responsibility of only one person, or just the few practitioners who have volunteered to work on truth-clarification materials. It is the responsibility of every Dafa practitioner. If all of us begin with ourselves and assume the role of protecting Dafa, this phenomenon, which is not in accordance with the Fa, will not exist, as we will not have let the evil take advantage of our loopholes. Finally, many of us seem to be afraid of directly pointing out other practitioners' attachments. I personally think that this itself is also an attachment.
(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, serious persecution has occurred in areas all over China. As a result, the fellow practitioner coordinating our area started emphasizing security issues and notified every Fa-study group to stop studying as a group and instead keep in contact on a personal level. As a Dafa practitioner upholding my responsibility to Dafa and fellow practitioners, I feel that I should offer my opinion on this situation. Fellow practitioners, please point out with compassion anything unrighteous in my thoughts.
When serious persecution occurs, many of our fellow practitioners frequently blame a certain coordinator or several practitioners who made some mistakes. They should instead try to understand, with a Dafa mindset, why persecution happened in the local area and how they should look inside themselves to find and mend any of their own problems or shortcomings.
Many serious rounds of persecutions in the past occurred at times when a large number of practitioners deviated from Dafa as a whole. Some of the severe persecution that occurred recently sprouted from the same kind of situation. When discussing these situations, practitioners should show concern for other practitioners caught in the persecution.
We should realize that sometimes problems actually originate from ourselves. Not only did we not realize the source of the problem, but some of us, affected by the human mentality, also blindly helped the unrighteous factors. Many of our fellow practitioners emphasize others' mistakes, without thinking about the roles they themselves played and what responsibilities they should take as Dafa practitioners.
Some other practitioners indeed realized and saw the problem as a whole, however, they didn't uphold their responsibility to Dafa in trying to prevent the persecution or correcting mistakes. Instead, they only gossiped prior to the intensified persecution and commented about it when it was too late. We are Dafa disciples in the critical period of Fa-rectification, and each of us has the responsibility to safeguard Dafa. We should not shift this divine duty to a certain coordinator or any other practitioner who is doing a lot of truth clarification work.
As Dafa practitioners, we should carefully contemplate why such serious persecution occurred today even when little evil is left. Is it actually a sign for us to make progress? Recently, many practitioners, when sharing their experiences, said that every one of us is a coordinator, but Dafa does not have any coordinators at all. However, what is the actual situation? Many practitioners didn't realize the true meaning of this sentence from the aspect of the Fa.
Teacher said, in the "Talk in Guangzhou to Some Assistance Center Heads From Around the Country" (Explaining the Content of Falun Dafa),
"Since they began to memorize the book, instead of measuring themselves [against the Fa] after doing something, the students know beforehand whether they should do something. This is excellent."
If each of us could reach the level that Teacher wants of us, would we have, intentionally or unintentionally, fueled the human mentalities of our coordinators? If each of us does our job according to Dafa principles, aren't we all coordinators? We should never follow another practitioner instead of the Fa. If we do, we not only interfere with our fellow practitioners, but also ourselves.
(Clearwisdom.net) Since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, Jiang's regime has carried out an unprecedented violent persecution of Falun Gong and its practitioners. Suddenly the dark clouds blocked the sun, and lies and rumors spread everywhere. It was as if Falun Gong and its practitioners were pushed towards a deathtrap. All through China people's minds were poisoned by the lies, and the Chinese people held deep hostility and hatred towards Falun Gong and its founder. "Self-immolation," "killing people," and other deceptive lies were deeply imprinted in people's minds. Once a person mentioned "Falun Gong," everyone connected it with the "self-immolation," "killing people," "poisoning people" and "cultivation insanity." As soon as Falun Gong practitioners were mentioned, they were referred to as mentally ill and retarded. I was also deceived.
Because of the media lies, I once said to my wife, who is a practitioner, "Stop practicing. If you become insane, you are going to kill me and our son." But my wife said, "That's nonsense, Falun Gong is about improving oneself and becoming a kind and good person. We do not kill or commit suicide. Those committing such crimes are not practitioners." However I could not set my heart at ease, and I watched her at all times. Later my wife was arrested and taken to the local police station twice, and once to a brainwashing center. This brought deep mental agony to our child. After this, I opposed her practicing even more. Our son and I watched her all the time. We did not let her read the book or practice the exercises, and we did not allow her to communicate with fellow practitioners. When I saw her holding the wheel (the second set of exercises), I moved her hands down. When I saw her meditating with legs crossed, I moved her legs down. I lost my temper and cursed, and every time she tried to tell me the truth, I would not listen. I also slandered Dafa.
At that time, our relationship was very tense and we often quarreled. I once said, "If you continue to practice, we will get divorced." She said, "I will still practice if we get divorced!" Another time I said to my mother-in-law, "Advise your daughter not to practice any longer. Otherwise it will affect our child's future. If she loses her job because of this, I won't support her. Then we will have to divorce." My mother-in-law replied, "If you divorce her, I will take my daughter in. I will feed her and we will practice together!" I was angry and upset for a long time.
Later, because my wife tried to introduce Falun Gong to others at her workplace, she was reported to the local police station. The policemen asked me to watch her. After I went home, I lost my temper. I swore and said to her, "If you continue like this, I suggest that you leave our home. I will live with our son!" From that point on, I was impolite to my wife's fellow practitioners when they visited her. I made sarcastic comments and made them leave. I did not let her answer calls from other practitioners, and hid her Falun Gong cassettes and books. I did not allow her to read, nor did I let her go to the market to meet other practitioners.
Thinking back, our family did not have one happy day. We quarreled almost daily. In the end, I had no choice but simply said, "It's fine as long as you don't go out and make trouble for me." With time, I noticed the improvement in my wife's health. Seven to eight of her chronic diseases disappeared. She did not take medicine for an entire year. Moreover, she became gentle and tolerant. She treated my mother and family really well, and my family thought highly of her.
During Chinese New Year of 2003, my wife, son and I went home to spend the New Year there. My wife had a fever and coughed after returning home from being tired. I tried to persuade her to take medicine but she said, "Don't worry about me, I will be fine by reading books and practicing the exercises." In the beginning, she coughed a lot. Later she gradually stopped coughing. The next morning, the fever had disappeared. She was fine, washed many clothes and cooked lunch. I felt it was a miracle!
In the winter of 2004, I brought my mother to my home for the winter. My mother suffered from more than thirty years from chronic tracheitis, pulmonary emphysema, and had developed heart disease from lung disorders. During winter, she could not stop coughing and suffered asthma. She had to take anti-inflammatory and other medicines to relieve her cough and asthma. Before she came to my home, she had already been on herbal medicine for a while, and yet she breathed heavily. After she arrived, I told my wife, "Give my mother fluids for several days." But my wife said, "Why not let mother practice the exercises with me. Medicine is only a temporary solution and is not a permanent cure, but practicing can make people healthy." I was uncertain, "Let mother try for three days, if she does not get better, give her fluids." My wife agreed. On the third day after my mother began listening to Teacher's lectures, she vomited black liquid several times. After that she immediately felt her chest was no longer blocked up. She could breath much easier and there was no longer the asthmatic noise. I was very happy and suggested that she practice with my wife. I now believed in Falun Gong from my heart. Later, my wife told me, "As long as you sincerely think that 'Falun Dafa is great' and 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good', you will be healthy, have good fortune and longer life, and remove disaster and minimize adversity." Therefore, I began continuously thinking such thoughts on my way to work.
Three days later, when I was on duty, I suddenly felt that my chest was stuffed up, my heart fluttered, and I had a hard time breathing. I was suddenly fine after six hours. I did not know what was going on. After I went home, my wife told me that I had a good predestined relationship. Teacher was taking care of me and purifying my body. I now wanted to read the book to see what was written in there. After the first reading, I had not understood much. I simply felt the principles in the books were very different from ordinary books. After I finished reading the second time, I became more peaceful and my thoughts were quite pure. After the third reading, I understood that in the book one finds Buddhist doctrine and principles. I also understood why people live in this world, what's the meaning of life, and how a person should live. From then onward, my heart was touched. I held one thought in my heart, "This is what I am looking for! Cultivation is the path that I truly must take. I must cultivate!"
I stopped smoking that month, got rid of the unhealthy habits of playing mahjong and cards, and my addiction to drinking. In addition, I watched my every word and deed and I really felt that I was reborn. During that time, chronic enteritis, short sight, beriberi, heart disease, rheumatism, stubbornness, neurasthenia and so on that affected me for many years all disappeared without a trace. I also felt that my body was light. It was as if I walked off the ground. I really felt extremely happy. Sometimes I half joked with my wife, "Why did you not lead me to this practice earlier! It would have been great if I had understood it a few years earlier."
However at that time I only did personal cultivation. I told my wife not to tell anyone else about my practice, otherwise I would stop practicing. One night, I was enjoying the cool weather outdoors, when a female employee next door loudly asked me, "Are you practicing Falun Gong now?" I became afraid and cursed. Afterwards I regretted it very much. I was not "compassionate" and "truthful." I also had not realized that this was to help me abandon my fear. When I talked to relatives and friends about the goodness of Falun Gong I always used my wife as an example, but I did not mention that I also practiced. In the beginning, I only read Zhuan Falun, and ignored the other books. Later, with help from fellow practitioners, I started reading Teacher's lectures and new articles. I also read Minghui Weekly. That is when I truly realized that Dafa practitioners are not only cultivating for personal consummation, but assisting Teacher in rectifying the Fa by clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings. Then I finally understood why so many veteran practitioners risk their lives to distribute materials, post flyers, hang banners and go to great efforts to tell people the truth. It is to save sentient beings who are in the maze, who have been deceived by the lies and will be brought into the bottomless abyss by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). After I realized this, I joined in practitioners' experience sharing and telling people the truth face to face.
I first told my colleagues, relatives and friends about the mental and physical benefits I derived from practicing Falun Gong. I advised many people to quit the CCP and any of its subordinate organizations. One time a security guard at my workplace said, "I heard you are practicing Falun Gong? You tell many people about it? You should just practice by yourself, why publicize it? Don't let me catch you!" I said, "What's wrong with practicing Falun Gong?" I was going to tell him the truth, but he quickly walked away. Because of continuous Fa study, I felt that the responsibility to save sentient beings is too big and the time is too tight, moreover, we can't limit ourselves to clarifying the truth face to face, but also need to distribute materials to save people on a larger scale. I began to hand out materials. One time my wife and I went to a nearby village to hand out materials. Before we left, we sent forth righteous thoughts several times. My wife asked me, "Are you afraid?" I calmly replied, "Afraid of what? I am a practitioner, a god, how can a god fear humans?" Under the effect of righteous thoughts, we quickly finished and returned. Afterwards my wife asked me again, "You really aren't afraid?" I answered, "I'm really not, as long as we believe in Teacher and the Fa, there is nothing to be afraid of!"
In early July, I went to my hometown to celebrate my mother's birthday. I thought that this was a great opportunity to introduce Falun Gong and clarify the truth. Therefore, I took hundreds of truth-clarification materials with me. That night I distributed them in two nearby villages. I finished one village and was going to another one, but lost my way. I did not know how to enter the village. Then I sent forth righteous thoughts with one palm in front of my chest thinking, "Eliminate the evil interference and damage. I must deliver these material to people with predestined relationships." I also asked Teacher to strengthen me. I suddenly saw a cat walking in front of me. I thought to follow this cat. Wherever the cat went, I also went, and I walked halfway down the street, made a turn and found the road I was looking for. Then the cat disappeared. I instantly felt warm in my heart and understood that merciful Teacher had helped me. I felt very confident and held more righteous thoughts. Teacher is beside me. He protects me at all times. What excuse do I have for not doing the three things well? In this way, under the effect of righteous thoughts and protection of Teacher, I distributed all the materials. It was just like what Teacher said:
"When you conduct yourselves righteously Master can do anything for you." ("Touring North America to Teach the Fa")
The next day, I also clarified the truth face to face with people in my village. When I talked to a next-door neighbor he said, "I do not even know what Falun Gong is." I then felt that the responsibility of saving sentient beings is huge.
From then on, I began to go to other places on my motorcycle with fellow practitioners and distribute many truth-clarification materials. No matter what difficulty we encountered, we were not moved.
This is how I, from a person who committed sins towards Dafa, became a steadfast Dafa practitioner. During the process, I felt Teacher's merciful salvation and enormous and powerful Buddha graciousness. Helping Three People Withdraw from CCP in One Day
Most fellow practitioners think that helping people to withdraw from the Chinese
Communist Party (CCP) is difficult. I believe that this is simply a notion. If
we stood from the point of view of Gods and the Fa to clarify the
truth and help people to withdraw using righteous thoughts, it would be a
different scene. Helping different people with different approaches would be
more effective.
I went out of town for a business trip on October 18, 2005. I decided to use
that trip to clarify the truth and to help people withdraw from the CCP. One CCP
member was in the same vehicle with me and he seemed very "successful"
in society. I told him why Gods will destroy the CCP, about the divine carved
rock found in Pingtang County, Guizhou Province that says "CCP Dies,"
explained why the CCP must inevitably die, and persuaded him to withdraw from
CCP for his safety. He quickly agreed to withdraw from CCP. This surprised me.
It was because of our truth-clarification efforts in the past that he agreed so
smoothly. His action also influenced the second and third person in our vehicle.
When we save people by clarifying the truth and helping them withdraw from the
CCP, we should not be moved by the surface appearance of people that seem not to
be convinced yet. Our efforts may require some time to take effect at the
surface. Many people have been saved by the cumulative result of clarifying the
truth repeatedly over time.
I used his partner's computer to send his withdrawal statement to the Epoch
Times website, and I showed it to another CCP member who was beside me. I showed
him the Solemn Announcement of the Epoch Times, and helped him learn the
importance of quitting the CCP. He agreed to withdraw on the spot. I sent his
declaration instantly.
The driver on our trip was also a CCP member. I tried to help him quit CCP and
the other two who had quit already were also telling him the reasons to quit.
Although the driver did not say anything, their words had a strong impression on
him.
We reached his company in the afternoon. I found the other two's withdrawal
statements and let the driver see what was on the screen. He immediately agreed
to quit with an alias.
The next morning, we had breakfast together. One of them told us he had a good
sleep last night after withdrawing from the CCP, and he also felt very peaceful
in his heart. Another one told us that quitting the CCP made his mind very
comfortable, like it was free from worries. The third one said, "Yes! It
feels great after quitting the CCP."
Saving People by Persuading Them to Withdraw from the CCP
My relatives were having a wedding ceremony, and they invited me to go to the
countryside. As soon as I entered the village, I saw banners saying
"Withdraw from the CCP, Youth League, and the Young Pioneers, The Nine
Commentaries Fell from Heaven to End the Evil Party" all over the
walls, along the roads, that people on the train can easily see them because the
words are huge and clear. I was shocked to see these, and found my shortcomings
compared to fellow practitioners in the countryside.
When I was clarifying the truth to people who came to congratulate the
newly-weds, they told me, "We all know Falun Dafa is good! We also know the
issue of withdrawing from the CCP, Youth League and Young Pioneers." It was
very easy when I tried to help them. More than seventy people there withdrew
from CCP and its organizations that day.
By reading our materials about the persecution and about the nature of the CCP,
seeing banners every day, and chatting about these matters, people have widely
learned the importance of withdrawing from the CCP. I also learned the power of
these banners, which helped me eliminate my own attachments.
(Clearwisdom.net) There are over thirty people in my family. Among them, six people started practicing Falun Gong before the persecution began on July 20, 1999. The others were able to understand the practice very well. My mother-in-law not only knew that Falun Gong was good but was also very supportive. Since the persecution of Falun Gong was launched on July 20, 1999, my two sisters and I have been persistent in validating Falun Gong. More than once we have been arrested, fined, detained, sent to forced labor camps and brainwashed. Through these several years of persecution, my sisters and family have suffered a great deal both financially and mentally. It has been especially difficult for my 80-year-old mother-in-law.
In 2001, my two sisters and I were detained in a detention center and tortured. My mother-in-law became ill from being so upset and stressed by our situation. After an investigation by the hospital, she was diagnosed as having galactophore cancer and had an operation immediately. All the families were upset by this. They did not know the truth about Falun Gong and thus they insisted that my mother-in-law was ill because of us. Especially after we returned home from the forced labor camp, the family kept a very close eye on us. This brought difficulties to our clarifying the truth and fighting against the persecution to save lives. Through our serious studies of the Fa and frequent clarifying the truth, the attitude of the family started to change, and our environment therefore improved.
In November 2004, my mother-in-law suddenly coughed blood, and we were told that she was in the later stages of lung cancer, and that it had already eradiated. The doctor said that she could live from one to three months. After hearing the bad news, no one wanted the older lady to know the truth about her condition. Sisters shed tears secretly, being unable to do anything. My husband told me the truth, I immediately went to the hospital to take care of her, and told her to say "Falun Dafa is good." Through this opportunity I told her the facts about Falun Dafa. Afterwards, the sixth sister who did not practice Dafa said, "Our mum is already in her eighties. If reciting 'Falun Dafa is good' can help her relieve the pain and she can live with less suffering, I would regard Falun Gong as all powerful." I realized that this was a good chance to validate Dafa, and that I should take this opportunity to save my mother-in-law.
I went to my aunt who also practices to discuss and tell her about my ideas. She agreed, and thought that if mother-in-law could be saved, over thirty family members would reevaluate Dafa. We let our first sister who was a new practitioner talk with our mother-in-law, not only to recite that Dafa is good, but to study the Fa. Mother-in-law agreed, and decided to study the Fa at a relative's family who lived in the hospital's apartment. On the same morning at ten o'clock, the hospital told mum she could leave the hospital, go home and take medicine. We happily went home and started teaching my mother-in-law the practice. Four of us practiced Falun Gong at home and mother-in-law stayed in bed reciting "Falun Dafa is good." We therefore formed a strong and pure energy field. Every day we three took turns studying and practicing with mother-in-law. She got better and better, and after three months she could walk on the street again.
On the lunar April 8, 2005, my mother-in-law wanted to celebrate Master's birthday, and asked all eight sisters and brothers to buy presents for Master. That day, we happily celebrated Master's birthday. What was fortunate was that those who did not understand Dafa changed their attitudes, and those who were blinded became clear. I realized that when we practitioners have right thoughts and actions Dafa is very powerful.
During the process of mother-in-law's practice, there were times when she experienced eliminating karma or being disturbed. When she felt bad, she would become doubtful and say, "I have not practiced well, is it possible that Master will just leave me alone?" I told her, "when you are suffering, it is Master who helps you push out those bad things to the surface. You have to keep up with it, it will be fine, and it is good. You need to strongly believe in Master, and believe in the Fa. Master said, 'Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master.' (Zhuan Falun) In fact, whatever you think, our Master knows."
Thereafter, mother-in-law improved a lot. Several days later, she suddenly coughed and felt something strange in her mouth. She spit out a grey, one inch long worm with two antenna. Afterwards, mother-in-law got over her concern, and left her burdens behind. She studied and practiced diligently. I realized that it was the Master who tried to show her, and instructed her to move forward, not wanting to leave her behind.
The magical power of Dafa not only allowed my mother-in-law to survive, she is now energetic, loud and no longer coughs. Her miracle amazed the doctors.
This real life occurrence dramatically changed over thirty members of my family. The three who were left behind caught up, the third sister who works in the government resigned from the party, the fourth sister who was forced to attend the "keeping fresh" activity would not listen or speak, but kept saying "Falun Dafa is good." The daughter who did not understand Dafa resigned from the Communist Youth League and read material clarifying the truth of Falun Gong. My daughter-in-law used to complain and not understand because I was detained for trying to validate the Fa. Now she understands the truth, and has started reading Zhuan Falun. My husband changed his attitude from strict monitoring to support.
My son has made the biggest change. In the past, he did not understand Dafa, refused to learn about the truth of Falun Gong, and would not even allow his daughter to say "Falun Dafa is good." However, his grandmother's change had a great impact on him, such that he not only resigned from the Communist Youth League, but also voluntarily tells other people the truth about Falun Gong, and spreads Falun Gong. For example, his wife's grandpa and grandma did not accept it when I told them the true facts about Falun Gong. What's more, they regard me as being involved in politics. Not long ago, his wife's grandma was ill, but failed to have the hospital investigate what is wrong with her. She was not able to eat, had no strength and was feeling ill. After taking medicine costing 600 or 700 yuan, she had no signs of getting better. Then my son told her wife's grandma the story about his own grandma and how she started to practice Falun Gong and improved her health by practicing, and finally fully recovered. He then suggested that they learn Falun Gong. By then, his wife's grandma understood the truth of Falun Gong and couldn't wait to call me and ask me to teach her how to practice Falun Gong. When I went to teach her, another grandmother, her neighbor, asked me to teach her too. I then taught them both. A week later, his wife's grandma was fully recovered. Her xinxing improved very quickly. Now she is able to treat herself as a Falun Gong practitioner at all times. Whenever she meets people, she tells them "Falun Dafa is good. Falun Gong is to teach us to be good people." Now she is fully recovered and doesn't need to take medicine. His wife's grandpa had always refused to read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Now he himself took the initiative to read it. At the same time, he started to read the materials which clarify the truth of Falun Gong, and Zhuan Falun.
All this came from the mercy of Master and the invincible might of Dafa. Master said, "With one person practicing, the whole family benefits." ("Lecture at the Australia Fa Conference") When one person learns Falun Gong all his relatives, friends, neighbors and colleagues, who come to know the truth of Falun Gong will be saved. However, the evil still keeps on persecuting, many people are still in delusion, and we Dafa disciples have a great responsibility. Those unsaved sentient beings are eagerly waiting for us.
(Clearwisdom.net) Zhuo Shu was a renowned person during the period of the Three Kingdoms [i.e. the period between 220-265 when the Wei, Shu and Wu Kingdoms were often at war]. He was honest and true to his word. One day, Zhuo Shu visited Zhuge Ke to say farewell before going back to his hometown Huiji (which is currently Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province) from Jianye (which is currently Nanjing City). Zhuge Ke asked him when he would return. Zhuo Shu thus told him the time and the day he would return.
On the day that Zhuo Shu was to return, Zhuge Ke invited many guests. But he told the guests not to start having their meal right away. He said, "Let's wait for Zhuo Shu for a while." The guests were all puzzled and said, "Huiji is one thousand miles away from here and there are rivers and lakes separating Huiji and Jianye. How can you be certain that he will be sure to come back at this time?" While the guests were saying this, Zhuo Shu arrived as scheduled. The guests were very surprised.
Zhuo Ke said casually, "He was not restricted by anybody or any contract, yet he stuck to his word and fulfilled his promise. He truly practiced 'keeping one's word.'" It was just as Yuan Fu taught in the Song Dynasty from his family-discipline book Yuan's Teaching for Generations, "Any part of what has been promised must be fulfilled. The time appointed must be abided by. This is called faith." What was promised to other people must be done without leaving out any part.
Why did Lao-tzu say, "Who promises with little caring must lack faith"? That is to say, if you say you will do something, then you should do it. Those who promise with little caring barely keep their faith.
Faith, with benevolence, justice, courtesy, and wisdom are the five virtues that are emphasized in traditional morality. The five virtues are five basic moral criteria that a human being should follow. Master Li Hongzhi said,
"They meant what they said. If they promised something they would fulfill it for sure. That's how human beings should be." ("Falun Buddha Fa, Teaching the Fa at the Assistants' Fa Conference in Changchun")
So faith is the foundation on which a person establishes himself and conducts himself in society. It is the foundation of establishing a governing policy and a county, and the conducting criteria that everybody should follow. If a person does not fulfill his word, he loses the fundamental criteria of being a human being.

1. [Cao County, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Lei Arrested by Cao County Public Security Bureau
On October 8, 2005, police from the Cao County Public Security Bureau broke into Mr. Liu Lei's home, saying that they wanted to talk to Liu Lei about the issue of Falun Gong. The police searched his home, but found nothing. They illegally arrested Mr. Liu Lei and have refused to release him to this day. Cao Huaizhong, Zhen Yuyu and Wang Xia et al. are the persons responsible.

At around 4:00 p.m. on September 29, 2005, four policemen namely Zhou Baocheng, Yu Hongxi, Lang and Xu from Jiguanshan Police Substation of Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province broke into Ms. Sun Li's home without producing any legal documents. They searched Ms. Sun Li's home and arrested her. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

4. [Lingying County, Henan Province] 610 Office Personnel Arrest Dafa Practitioners
The Lingying County 610 Office of Henan Province arrested several Falun Gong practitioners around October 1, 2005 (China's national day) and detained them in a brainwashing center. Ms. Wang Niu was also arrested. Ms. Chao Shumin was arrested one month ago and was sent to Zhengzhou City.

5. [Tianjin City] Shi Fuhua from Nankai District Jailed Beyond His Term
Shi Fuhua, 58, from Nankai District of Tianjin City, is an employee of the Security Group of Nankai University. In 2003, he was sentenced to two years and three months of imprisonment and was jailed at Shuangkou Forced Labor Camp of Beichen District. His labor camp term was due to expire on August 12, 2005. Merely because Shi Fuhua does not want to give up his belief in Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, his prison term was extended for four more months. Currently, he is still jailed at the labor camp.
6. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Lanmin Arrested
At around 9:00 p.m. on October 11, 2005, police officers from Shenzhou City Public Security Bureau and Hengshui City Public Security Bureau broke into Ms. Zhang Lanmin's home and illegally searched her home. The police arrested Ms. Zhang and detained her at Shenzhou City Detention Center. Her home computer was confiscated.
Meanwhile, the police also broke into Mrs. Zhang Xincha's home in Shenzhou City, attempting to arrest Zhang Xincha. Since Mrs. Zhang Xincha's husband was slow in opening the door for the police, he was detained for one night at the Public Security Bureau for allegedly protecting his wife. Her home computer was also confiscated. Ms. Zhang Xincha escaped using the power of righteous thoughts.

7. [Beihai City, Guangxi Province] Ms. Guo Yingdan Arrested
Ms. Guo Yingdan from Beihai City, Guangxi Province was arrested on the evening of October 16, 2005.
8. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Limin and Liu Yulan Were Transferred to Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp
On June 2, 2005, Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City secretly transferred Mr. Zhang Limin and Ms. Liu Yulan (from Guye District) to the No. 5 Team of Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp where they are forced to undergo brainwashing. Mr. Zhang Limin previously worked at the Kaiping District Court of Tangshan City. Because he refused to renounce his belief in Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, he was transferred to Kaiping District Market Administration Bureau.
When Ms. Liu Yulan had just arrived in the camp, she went on a hunger strike to protest. Ms. Liu was later deprived of sleep for seven consecutive days on two occasions, June 20 and July 19, 2005. She has become emaciated from the torture and hunger strike.
9. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhu Yan Tortured at the No. 3 Detention Center
Ms. Zhu Yan from Jilin City was arrested by the director of the Gangyao Town Police Substation of Longtan District, Jilin City on October 14, 2005 when she was posting truth clarification flyers. Currently she is being jailed at the Jilin City No. 3 Detention Center where she is suffering from cruel torture.
10. [Chongqing City] Police Arrest Ms. Yao Xiaotong and Search Her Home
Ms. Yao Xiaotong from Yuzhong District of Chongqing City was arrested in late September 2005. She has since been jailed for over ten days.
11. [Beihai City, Guangxi Province] Ms. Guo Yingdan and Other Practitioners Arrested
On the morning of October 17, 2005, four practitioners, including Ms. Guo Yingdan, Ms. Guo Xiulian, and Xu Qunyuan, were arrested, and Ms. Wang Xianglan's home was illegally searched.
12. [Weinan City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Yang Lianying Arrested Again
Ms. Yang Lianying, 63 years old, is a retired employee of the Shaanxi Province No. 4 Construction Company. In December 2004, she was arrested and sent to Weinan City Detention Center. She was sentenced to three years in prison with a five-year suspension.
On September 28, 2005, Ms. Yang Lianying was arrested once again and forced to undergo brainwashing at the Weinan Brainwashing Center.

13. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhou Ying from Qingshan District Arrested
At around 4:00 p.m. on October 10, 2005, Ms. Zhou Ying from Qingshan District of Wuhan City was deceived by someone into leaving her workplace during work hours. Ms. Zhou Ying is a salesperson for Zhongbai Department Store, Yangan Road, Qingshan District. She was forcibly dragged into a car and taken to Honggangcheng Police Substation. At around 10:00 p.m., several policemen, led by Zhang Zhujun, took Ms. Zhou Ying to Er'zhigou Detention Center of Dongxihu District in Wuhan City.

(Clearwisdom.net) A "solemn declaration" is a person's public statement declaring to the world that whatever he or she has done or said under duress or deception that was against Falun Dafa is null and void. Most of these statements have come from Falun Dafa practitioners in China who wished to express regret that, in the face of physical torture and brainwashing, they had signed documents renouncing Dafa and guaranteeing not to practice again. Also, as more and more people in China learn the truth about how they have been deceived and lied to by the Jiang regime, many non-practitioners are also submitting "solemn declarations."
