Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance exhibition boards in over 20 languages at the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade

Falun Dafa practitioners participated in this year's National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade held in Washington DC. It was the third year they had participated in this grand parade, which is an excellent opportunity to spread the Fa. Practitioners planned for the parade well in advance. Teachers and students of Washington DC Minghui School also participated in the parade preparation.

Teachers of Minghui School started a project entitled "Truthfulness-Compassion- Tolerance Around the World." First, students wrote to the ambassadors of the embassies in Washington DC and introduced the Minghui School. We told the embassies that our school is based on teachings of Falun Dafa and brings Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance to people around the world, regardless of their age and nationalities. We wrote down the meaning of Zhen-Shan-Ren that Master Li teaches and hoped they could understand the essence of these three words. In the meantime, we asked them to write down Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance in their own languages and note the pronunciations of each word so we could put the three words in their languages on boards for the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade and Exhibition.

In two weeks we received dozens of replies from the embassies of many countries. Many ambassadors and embassies' cultural offices replied and we felt their hearts of support and participation. Some countries expressed their appreciation for having their countries and languages included in our project. Some said the words, "Truthfulness- Compassion-Tolerance" are so beautiful.

During the spring break, students and teachers made a big banner that read, "Truthfulness- Compassion- Tolerance Around the World" and put laminated words of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance in different languages on exhibition boards for the parade. Every day before we started to work, we first studied the Fa and sent forth righteous thoughts. Students were very cooperative and the atmosphere was very harmonious. A child asked, "Why didn't we just search the web and find the words instead of asking all the embassies?" The schoolteacher replied, "Normally when we clarify the truth to them and tell them about the persecution in China, they expressed their understanding and sympathy; however they found it difficult to show support directly due to the Chinese government's interference. This time we let them hear about Falun Dafa once again. All we ask is just three words, Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance, from their languages. It is easy for them to do it. All the countries that responded have established their positions in Dafa. ..." The students all understood the importance of the project and returned to do their work more carefully.

The National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade finally arrived. Chinese practitioners wore Qipao (a traditional female Chinese style cloth) and held Zhen-Shan-Ren boards while Korean and Indian practitioners also put on their traditional costumes and held boards in their languages. Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance in over 20 languages marched down Constitution Avenue in Washington DC and attracted praise from many people. After the parade, the Chinese Culture Festival started at the area between the Capitol and the Memorial. We laid out exhibition boards on the grass. Many tourists who visited the Capitol and the Memorial also visited our "Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance Around the World" Exhibition. When they read Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance in different languages, they all said, "This world really needs Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance."
