New Jersey's Local Government and Media Response to a Letter Attacking Falun Gong Written by the Chinese Consul-General in New York

In the beginning of October 2001, the Township Council of Parsippany in New Jersey State unanimously passed a resolution condemning the Chinese government's persecution of Falun Gong, and mailed a copy of the resolution to Zhang Hongxi, the Chinese Consul-General in New York.

Practitioner Wan Guifu Dies from Torture in a Labor Camp's Hospital in Gansu Province

Practitioner Wan Guifu, male, 58, was a retired engineer at the No.2 Auto Repair Factory in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. He died in the prison hospital of the Forced Labor Camp in Gansu Province on the dawn of December 17, 2001, the third day of his hospitalization.

Evil Exhibition in Russia Failed

(Clearwisdom.net) By request of Jiang Zemin, the Chinese Embassy in Moscow, Russia was going to hold a two-week photo exhibition that slandered Falun Dafa. The Russian practitioners sent out righteous thoughts together. Because no one in Moscow wanted to rent out a place for this kind of evil exhibition, the Embassy had to hold the exhibition in its own building and invited some Russians and a small number of overseas Chinese to attend. Some visitors questioned, "How does the Party have the right to judge others' beliefs and call it an 'evil religion'? Almost every country in the world advocates freedom of belief. Your ruling Party in China says the same, doesn't it? The Party has no right to determine what kind of religion others practice." In the end, the evil exhibition only lasted three hours.
