(Clearwisdom.net) Since November 2001, Yantai City's "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] authorities from the Security Department, Police Department, and Zhifu District Police Department have illegally arrested over a dozen practitioners. Practitioner Wu Haiyou was arrested by 6 evil policemen from Xipaotai Police Station. Wu Haiyou was beaten and rolled all the way down the stairs from the 4th floor to the ground floor. He fell unconscious on the spot. Five days later, Wu Haiyou's family received a notice to pick up Wu Haiyou's remains. They had beaten Wu Haiyou to death.

Recently, because of the madness of the thugs from Yantai City's "610 Office" and thugs from the Police Department, three family members (all practitioners) of Zhang Yide, Xiao Hui, Jiang Dongsheng and other practitioners have been illegally arrested.

(Clearwisdom.net) Singtao Daily stopped carrying articles about Falun Gong on November 4, 2001. According to news disclosed by informed sources, this decision was the direct result of pressure that Mainland China put on Singtao Daily's Headquarters in Hong Kong.

For more than two years, Falun Gong practitioners bought a half page from the paper every Sunday (later switched to Singtao Weekly), publishing news about Mainland China's persecution of Falun Gong and about how Falun Gong is deeply welcomed around the world. Because of this publication, more and more overseas Chinese benefited and gradually got to know the truth about Falun Gong's persecution in Mainland China.

Although Singtao Daily is a newspaper distributed outside of China in free countries, it still cannot avoid the suppressive influence of Jiang Zemin's regime. His regime doesn't just practice state terrorism; it practices international terrorism.

I'm a Falun Dafa practitioner from Mainland China. I began practicing Falun Dafa in April of 1998. Falun Dafa has been purifying my body and my heart ever since. I have come to know that the real purpose of being a human is to return to one's true self, to become a person with high morals and to act wholly for the sake of the others. Within a few months of practicing I returned the gifts and money that I had accepted during the previous few years from the parents of my students. During the big flood in the southern part of China in August of 1998, I donated 25,500 Yuan RMB (The monthly salary for a typical urban worker is about 500 Yuan RMB) to the people living in the flooded area under the name of "a Falun Dafa practitioner." It was all the savings that I had. I did many other similar things and I did them because of my firm belief in Falun Dafa.

Since July 22, 1999, Jiang Zemin and his regime have been persecuting Falun Dafa and Dafa practitioners. The police illegally monitored my daily life and then they detained me and sent me to a forced labor camp. With high-handed policies and various means of persecution they tried to force me to give up my righteous belief in Falun Dafa. Remembering Master Li's words "Take the Fa as Teacher," I made it all the way through the ordeals and resolutely safeguarded the Fa. Finally, I smashed the evil's arrangements and came out of the devil's den. Now I would like to share my experiences during my practice and Fa-rectification.

Teacher said the above sentence in the article "Melt Into the Fa." During my cultivation I have come to deeply understand that only through "reading the books more and studying the books more," can we be "neither confused nor tempted." (From Teacher's poem, "In the Dao") I did my job well and I used all the additional time that I could find to study and to memorize the Fa. I told myself that I had to memorize one paragraph of Zhuan Falun everyday. On my way to work and in my spare time, I would silently recite Zhuan Falun. I joined a group study every night and I transcribed the Fa during my lunch hour. All this laid a firm foundation that helped me to pass the tests that I would encounter later.

2. "Take the Fa as Teacher," Deter Interference and Break Free from the Devil's Den

The Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp can be called evil's home base or the devil's den. It was difficult to bear the police beating, electric shocking, cursing and other forms of torture. However, it was even harder to deter the evil notions coming from those people that had "enlightened" along an evil path. I needed to constantly "Take the Fa as Teacher" in order to deter the interference. My personal experience enabled me to more clearly understand the importance and necessity of Master Li's words. We all know we should "Take the Fa as Teacher." However, it was much more difficult to achieve it. On September 10 2001, the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp unconditionally released me.

On July 20 1999, I heard that the police had illegally detained local Falun Dafa contact people all over the country. I immediately left for Beijing to appeal to higher government officials. The Beijing police took me to Fengtai Stadium and detained me there with other practitioners for two nights and one day. They didn't provide us with water or food. Being thirsty and hungry, I was sent back to the Dongfeng County Police Station. Thereafter the police started to monitor my daily life. I'm very firm in my belief in Falun Dafa and I have the courage to speak out about the truth. So those vicious people had no way to "reform" me. They then sent me to the Siping Mental Hospital and tried to persecute me.

First a woman doctor from the outpatient department came to check on me. The checking was done by way of a conversation. She asked me, "Do you have a mental disease?" I knew about the behaviors of mental patients. [Mental patients always claim that they don't have any mental disease.] So, if you try to explain that you don't have a mental disease, the doctors will think you have mental problems. So I answered, "If I tell you that I don't have a mental disease, you will think I am a mental patient. However, I can't say I am a mental patient because I am not." Then I told her how I had benefited from Falun Dafa. Basically I let her know that Falun Dafa is good. Finally, she said I had the "superstition mental disease." I said to her solemnly, "You should be responsible for me. As a doctor, you should have a doctor's ethics. I will take your examination results to a better hospital and get reexamined. You said I have the 'superstition mental disease'. Then show me your evidence." She looked through a book for a long time but failed to find the so-called "superstition mental disease." Ultimately she didn't say I was a mental patient in the results of her examination.

Since this did not work the police chief took me to another doctor who was male with whom he had previously made an appointment. I talked to him the same way I had to the woman doctor. Just when this male doctor said that I didn't have a mental disease, the police station chief jumped in and showed the doctor a note, saying, "I've already made an agreement with the hospital dean." The doctor read the note and then sent me to be checked into the inpatient department. Soon I was checked into the hospital. Just when they were about to send me to the ward, a thought came to me, "I shouldn't be here. They will lie about me and claim that I have become a mental patient after practicing Falun Dafa. They are going to smear Dafa and undermine the Fa." So I dragged my husband over and told him that once I was admitted to the hospital, they would give me shots and pills. I would then really become a mental patient within a few days. So my husband took me out of the inpatient department. However, these malicious people didn't want to give up. They insisted that I be checked into the hospital for a few days. I reasoned with them for about one hour, while many people looked on. The police department, the Political and Judiciary Committee, the Education Department and my unit leaders began to avoid the responsibility for watching me. In the end, they called the County Party Committee Secretary Han. Then they agreed to let me go home. I defeated the evil with righteous thoughts and a practitioner's wisdom. I thus avoided the inhumane persecution that I would have otherwise suffered in the mental hospital. The next day, I went to the County Party Committee and spoke to Secretary Han. I related to him the whole process of being checked into the hospital and I questioned him, "You don't want me to have mental diseases, do you?" I also told him that none of the practitioners are mental patients and that he shouldn't use this method to persecute other practitioners.

All the police I came across in the labor camp talked very dirty. No matter what I was doing, I could hear them screaming at me, "Hurry up!" If a person needed to use the toilet other than the allowed four times a day, they had to hold it. Allow me to describe the inhumane situations I had to endure while inside the labor camp including cruel force-feeding, frequent electric baton shocks, and time spent in the inhuman "small cells" in the labor camp.

Upon arriving at the labor camp, the staff at the camp ignored my appeal and Reconsider letter. I started to hunger strike with some other fellow practitioners. We appealed with our lives to protest our illegal sentencing to labor re-education. The camp supervisors not only refused to pass our request to the upper level, but instead used force-feeding to torture us. Doctors and male police inhumanly forced a tube into each of our stomachs, and then forcefully stirred resulting in miserable non-stop vomiting. They used a high concentrated salt solution, which made us incredibly thirsty. They even force-fed everything we vomited out back inside us. Some forced the tube in through our noses.

I was the first one to be force-fed. Because I refused their torture, they tied my four limbs to the bed, and forced down my head and hands. After one hour of this torture, there was no spot on my head that was not damaged. My whole head was swollen, and all my teeth were loose or broken. The perpetrators of these crimes can deny beating and cursing me, but my broken teeth were undeniable evidence. Despite my struggle, they force-fed me the tube, but I bit down on the tube to prevent any food from going through. One strong force enabled me to free my left hand from under the ties as well as from the male polices' hold. I pulled out the feeding tube instantly, and ended this round of cruel torture. I heard several voices say, "So capable, so determined!" During the second force-feeding, even a head officer said, "This is too cruel! Enough is enough!"

Inside the labor camp, whenever you practice the exercises, you get electric baton shocks; whenever you have Teacher's New Articles, you get electric baton shocks; if you do not give in, you get electric baton shocks; if you would go on hunger strike, you get electric baton shocks; if you refuse to betray Falun Dafa, you get electric baton shocks. The electric baton shocks are the most frequently used torture tools. All the time they would force us to take off our clothes. The vicious police team leader Xi Guirong and warden Jin Lihua would each shock one side of our necks. Sometimes there was a third baton shocking our most sensitive spots. We were shocked shaking and moving uncontrollably. When they hand cuffed us onto the bed before using the electric batons, the whole bed would move under the shocks. They would humiliate us while shocking us. The whole hallway smelled of burning flesh. They shocked me many times because I kept doing the exercises, and I was on hunger strike, but I was not afraid. They started with low voltage batons, and then changed to high voltage ones. After three rounds of baton shocks, they began to shock whoever still does the exercises. I was one of them. Two days after the baton shock tortures, I still continued to practice the [Falun Gong] exercises.

The infamous "small cell" in the labor camp was inside the supervised class on the first floor. There was no sunlight, and it was only big enough for one person to lie down. Inside, rats often visit you, and once inside, you are not allowed to wash. I was the first one sent in. They had me lie down with my hands cuffed during the night, but I'd have to sit during the day with my hands cuffed to the door. They did not let other Dafa practitioners lie down. They could only sit 24 hours a day with their hands cuffed. It was during November 5-15, 1999. I endured force-feeding for the first time. My mouth bled all night, but they would not allow me to spit the blood out.

My second time in the small cell was May 1-12, 2000. This small cell was made by the third team as a storage room. My arms and legs were tied onto an iron bed. I was not allowed to wash. Every time I ate or relieved myself I needed help from another camp prisoner. I did not want to make other's situations harder, so I would only eat one bite every so often. I only ate one day's worth of food in 12 days' time. The storage room was freezing, and I had to be tranquil to survive.

Upon getting out the small cell, it was Teacher's protection and Dafa's mighty power, which enabled me to be tranquil for that long period of time, and to recover easily afterward. During these torture periods, the team leader, and other wardens would curse at me, try to provoke me, and try to make me give in, but every time I would reason with them, and by the time they let me come out of the small cells, they would never bother to ask me, "Are you still practicing?" These are the inhuman tortures of the small cells.

During the tribulations and trials, I was always free from fear, and acted nobly. This is because I know Falun Dafa is good. It is the great law of the cosmos, the Truth of the universe. I defend the Truth of the universe. How magnificent! How sacred! Ever since the day I obtained Dafa, I was determined to cast off all attachments to everything on earth, and not to pursue any earthly rewards, but to assimilate with Dafa! I will not hesitate to give up my flesh body for the Truth. Of course it was not easy during the lasting tortures. I often use Teacher's words in the last lecture of Zhuan Falun to guide myself, "When you are overcoming a real hardship or tribulation, you try it. When it is difficult to endure, try to endure it. When it looks impossible and is said to be impossible, give it a try and see if it is possible. If you can actually do it, you will indeed find: "After passing the shady willow trees, there will be bright flowers and another village ahead! (second to last paragraph of Zhuan Falun)"

Since the September 11 attacks, terrorism has become a household word. Suddenly, we have come to learn that terrorist activities can occur even very close to home. Since September 11, the threat of terrorism has become part of our daily lives. We live in the shadow cast by the terrorists, and wonder whether new tragedies are imminent. This is precisely the goal of the terrorists.

This is invisible terror. It is different from the kind that does astonishing harm in an instant. Rather, it is a kind that resides in people's hearts and makes them surrender mentally to the evil power.

Tyrannical governments have access to terrorist measures that are more effective, more powerful and more comprehensive in creating terror in people's hearts. Using government offices, legislative bodies, courts, police, secret police, prisons, military and other bodies of the state, they exploit the government apparatus to crack down on any opposition. Using the media to spread carefully planned threats and propaganda, they drive their people to live in terror. If allowed to continue unabated, this type of terror becomes deeply rooted in people's hearts, making them react in fear compulsively to any different voices.

Such state terrorism intimidates the entire nation of China. For example, people are murdered openly by government forces. People condemn each other publicly. So-called "guilty ones" are paraded in the streets. During the "Cultural Revolution," this type of state terrorism also took place. Incidents such as public beatings and humiliation, the murder of those with opposing views and the ransacking of homes caused the terror in people's hearts to reach an extreme. Having lived through the "red terror," terrorism has already made a deep impression in the Chinese people's hearts. An effective conditional reflex has been established, namely: Opposition - State Apparatus - Persecution.

People become subconsciously fearful of having different ideas and opinions and for voicing different thoughts. In order to be free from this kind of terror, people suppress their thoughts and seal their lips. In order to be free from this kind of terror, people lie, deceive each other and live without dignity.

This kind of hidden, invisible terror has become the typical mental state of the Chinese people and has become an evil force that is chipping away the soul, the willpower and the sense of justice of the nation. After the September 11 tragedy, one could catch a glimpse of this evil force by taking a look at the sarcastic comments made by many of the Chinese people as well as the arguments made by some Chinese scholars in defense of the terrorist acts.

Perhaps the terror in the hearts of the people created by China's tyrannical government doesn't seem as powerful as the bomb in terms of causing instant catastrophes. However, the degeneration it causes through the erosion of the people's sense of righteousness over the years can be much more damaging than bombs.

My wife and I obtained the Fa on the same day in 1997. Since then, we have experienced virtually the same tribulations, and we have often exchanged our understandings of cultivation. As early as last year, however, I found that I fell behind her and the gap became greater and greater. Her physical body experienced all sorts of changes--too many to mention. On the contrary, I could not feel any changes at all. Still, her improved understanding and bodily changes gave me much confidence.

So where exactly did the gap come from? I often asked myself this question. The major reason seemed to be that I was busy outside everyday and everyday people's tasks made it very hard for me to concentrate on the exercises and Fa study. But then another thought came to my mind. In our system we cultivate among everyday people. As a result I should have been able to improve faster than her since I was exposed to a more complicated situation. I was confused.

One night, however, I was awakened while we were studying Teacher's new article, Lecture on the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Conference. We both sensed that time was very limited. At that moment my first thought was: since time is so limited, will I be left behind when Teacher completes this? In contrast, my wife's first words were, "Not much time is left now, and there are still many people who have not obtained the Fa or learned the truth. We really have to hurry up!"

Through this incident, I realized what was causing the gap between us. If a practitioner can always hold Dafa as the most important thing, then it doesn't matter if it's everyday work, getting along with people, or doing family chores--one will always be cultivating. In contrast, if a practitioner is always worrying about balancing everyday tasks and Fa study or doing the exercises, one will not be cultivating even while doing Dafa work. The former condition describes the process by which a divine being advances quickly, while the latter describes the condition of a human being, whose journey is marked by advancement and regression.

Because my wife received less education than I did, she often needs me to explain the literal meaning of Teacher's articles to her before she can understand them. As long as she understands that, she will act very well. She said, "I just believe it--believe in Teacher and believe in Dafa." Right now, I think I have found the reasons that caused the gap between us. I also need to cultivate diligently and make rapid progress.

As the Fa-rectification progresses, it has become clear that the arrangements of the old forces in the cosmos are obstructing Fa-rectification in the human world. Only after we fully realize this, can we break through and defeat it.

Break the Restraint Placed on the Predestined People in Big Companies and Consortiums Around the World

People on this planet have all come for reasons related to Falun Dafa. There may be some people working in big companies or consortiums who vowed to help spread Falun Dafa before they came. Since the old forces in the cosmos are obstructing Teacher in spreading Falun Dafa and interfering with the Fa-rectification due to their selfishness and jealousy, they deliberately impede those people from attaining Falun Dafa, fearing that if they attain the Fa, with their power and influence on TV, radio, and newspapers, they might promote Dafa in the media and make it easy for the public to attain it. Therefore, the attention of those people is made to focus on business interests, the stock market, and their fame and desires. In fact, this is unfair to them as individual beings. They have lost their goals in life and become unconcerned about the severe persecution of practitioners in China. The words "Falun Dafa" and "Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance," and even the graphic pictures of torture do not cause a stir in their lives of worldly pursuit. In order to maintain business relations with China, some choose money over conscience and remain silent. There are even some who help the evil.

A survivor of the Nazi regime, pastor Martin Niemoeller made a statement just before his death, which made people think deeply, "When they [the Nazi's] came to get the Jews, I remained silent, because I was not a Jew. When they came to get the Communists, I remained silent, because I was not a Communist. When they came to get the trade union members, I remained silent, because I was not a trade union member. Then when they came to get me, there was no one left to speak out for me."

Likewise, something is needed to touch their apathetic, overly pragmatic hearts.

The attack on the World Trade Center awakened many kind-hearted people. They began to realize the significance of "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance" to life. Even if one has everything in this world which values money as "almighty," he cannot buy health and longevity. "...many Western millionaires and wealthy people have discovered that there is nothing left after death. Material wealth does not come with birth, and neither will it go with you after death--they are very hollow." (Zhuan Falun, 3^rd Ed. English, p.361) As the last phase of the Fa-rectification approaches, we practitioners should think about how to awaken the people with the principles of "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance" in this human world and help them view Falun Dafa from a completely new perspective. Our purpose is not to ask them for money, but to let them know the truth so that they might not pass up the opportunity to attain Falun Dafa.

Break the Restraint Placed on the Predestined People in Politics Around the World

During the past two years of persecution by Jiang Zemin's regime in China, the foreign governments have only condemned the regime from the standpoint of being for human rights and against inhumane torture. Many of them do not really know what Falun Dafa is, or the relationship between Dafa and themselves or their country--let alone humanity as a whole. If the president of a country could understand the greatness of Falun Dafa as a practitioner does, he would treasure Dafa as much as his own life when dealing with domestic and foreign affairs. Therefore, when clarifying the truth, we really need to consider how to make the principles of Falun Dafa--as well as the great virtue, the solemnity, and the holiness of Dafa-- known to people in this world. It is something that requires solid work.

Break the Restraint Placed on the Predestined People in Media Around the World

A major reason for the long, severe persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in China is that there is no freedom of the press. There is only one voice, one opinion, and nothing else will be tolerated. Under the arrangements of the old forces, many media members are producing fabricated stories against their consciences to be used as government propaganda. Along with practitioners' clarifying the truth and exposing the evil inside and outside of China, many kind-hearted people, including those working for media, have come to realize the evil nature of Jiang and his associates.

Although the press in other countries has the freedom to carry different news, they focus on violence, sex, the stock market, and the lottery, etc. The old forces have even arranged for CCTV 4, the mouthpiece of the Chinese government, to broadcast slanderous news against Falun Dafa in the US. These are warped phenomena in this world. Changing the current situation of the media community requires the practitioners' wisdom, patience, perseverance, and meticulous work. Before the persecution, there were many journalists in China studying Dafa. I believe that, with our benevolence (not pursuit) in this work, there should be more journalists coming to learn about Falun Dafa.

Apart from clarifying the truth to the people mentioned above, we also need to break the arrangements imposed by the old forces on us practitioners and completely deny them. That requires us to study the Fa often and exchange experiences so that we can more readily discern the arrangements made by the old forces.

(Clearwisdom.net) Before, when we were making CDs, a practitioner gave us a big CD burner and I was very happy. But the fourth CD writer broke down when I just started using it. Two days later, the third CD writer also had problems. My daughter told me, "Probably it is a demon trying to interfere and cause damage. You can send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate it." I recited the Fa-rectifying verse silently, but in my heart I thought it was not the case. Then, we began to have problems one after another; several other CD writers had problems alternately. I felt very bad because Dafa practitioners lived frugally to save money to buy all these recordable CDs. In the evening, my daughter came home and I told her about the situation. She said, "Should we look into our Xinxing, then continue to send forth righteous thoughts?" I told her, "Don't relate these issues foolishly. It is a normal phenomenon for a machine to break down when it is getting old. It has nothing to do with demons and Xinxing. Why didn't the smaller one ever break down?"

The next morning, my daughter wrote Teacher's Fa-rectifying verse on a piece of paper and put it up on the CD burner. Then she sent forth righteous thoughts together with my 7-year-old granddaughter, Lele, and suggested that the spirits of the computer and CD burner send forth righteous thoughts with us. As a result, all CD writers were back to normal except for the fourth one. I was shocked, and it was very clear that a demon had interfered and caused damage. In the afternoon, the third CD writer broke down when I started making CDs. This time I asked Lele to send forth righteous thoughts with me immediately. Since then, not even one bad CD was made.

Although Lele is still young, she started studying the Fa at the age of three, reading Zhuan Falun by herself at four, and she is really a "veteran practitioner." From then on, Lele has sent forth righteous thoughts every day with me. Several days later, the fourth CD writer was miraculously back to normal.

When the problems had just started, the demon took advantage of a loophole in my mind to interfere with the Fa-rectification, since I treated the problems of the CD burner using human thoughts and notions. I was touched deeply by this incident and realized I must study the Fa seriously in order to do Dafa work better. Also, we need to have righteous faith, righteous thoughts and righteous enlightenment in every place and in every situation. We should not have any human notions and should be "absolutely strict, absolutely righteous."

In the article "Cautionary Advice," Teacher told us, "If you do not change the human logic that you, as an ordinary human, have formed deep in your bones over thousands of years, you will be unable to break away from this superficial human shell and reach Consummation." Master also said, "If every one of you can understand the Fa from the depths of your mind, that will truly be the manifestation of the Fa whose power knows no boundary--the reappearance of the mighty Buddha Fa in the human world!"

Going over this article, I ascended from a perceptual to a rational understanding of Master's cautionary advice of "Righteous Fa spreading, ten thousand demons blocking," and "Every pass must be broken through, everywhere are demons." (Hongyin)

One day, suddenly I felt terribly sick in my stomach and vomited continuously. In the beginning I thought it was because of eliminating karma so I just endured and suffered. The second day I didn't get any better and I realized it was not karma but the persecution of a demon, because before when eliminating the karma I always recovered quickly and it was less severe. Then I asked Lele to send forth righteous thoughts with me. Only 7 minutes later I felt better. Then I had a throat ache. My daughter sent righteous thoughts with me, and all my symptoms of karma purging disappeared quickly.

Several days later, one night, Lele got sick, and said she felt nauseated and had a stomachache. I told her that it was caused by a demon, but we could help her send forth righteous thoughts and she could also recite the Fa-rectifying verse herself. She fell asleep quietly within ten minutes. By the next day she was lively again.

One day, my daughter had a severe headache. She sent forth righteous thoughts, then the pain moved to her throat. She continued to send forth righteous thoughts, and when the pain moved to her eyes, she sent forth righteous thoughts again. Sometimes, it would take several times before the demon could be completely eliminated and then she could recover.

When I began to write this article, suddenly, my head felt painful and swollen, and my two arms were especially heavy as if filled with lead. I knew it was the demon's interference preventing me from writing the article. I asked Lele to send forth righteous thoughts together with me, and felt much better after ten minutes, and just a little sleepy. But I realized right away that this was a human notion. I am a Dafa practitioner--how could I be driven by a demon! I immediately picked up the pen and continued to write the article. The discomfort disappeared right away and I did not feel sleepy any more.

We send forth righteous thoughts constantly to eradicate the evil and the old forces. They really have come to the point where they frenziedly persecute and interfere with us. I cultivate completely locked up, but now I can feel that the war raging between the righteous forces and the evil forces has really become a close combat and is extremely intense. Therefore, the Fa-rectification requires us to be "absolutely strict, absolutely righteous."

We must think of ourselves as Dafa particles in every moment and use Dafa to measure our every word and deed. We must remember we are great divine beings in every moment, so that we will not leave any gaps for the evil. We can then work in the Fa-rectification and not suffer any losses while clarifying the truth and saving all beings.

I wanted to write these experiences and understandings one month ago, but did not start writing. After reading the encouraging experiences of fellow practitioners on Dafa websites I wrote this to use as a reference for fellow practitioners who have also experienced the same interference. Please kindly point out my mistakes so that they can be corrected. Thank you.

(Clearwisdom.net) In the past two years, Dafa disciples have been fearless in the face of all tribulations. They have firmly safeguarded Dafa and offered salvation to the people of the world. However, due to my temporary attachments, I did not come out to safeguard Dafa during a certain period. I even felt hopeless about myself because of the mistakes I made in my own cultivation. Yet I finally got rid of all interferences, made up my mind and merged into the mighty Fa-rectification current again.

In July 1999 I went to Beijing to appeal for the first time but police officers stopped me in the railway station. In the police department, other practitioners and I refused to sign our names to an interrogation form. Afterward, we were sent to the local police station. There we were asked to write a pledge denouncing Falun Gong. I said, "I will cultivate to the end; my mind will never be moved." Seeing me so determined, they had to let me go home. In a dream that same night, I saw up in the sky a shell that enveloped the earth. The shell had three layers. The inside and outside layers were both white but the middle layer was black. Several lotus flowers grew out of the filthy mire, unsoiled by even a speck of dust. I did not at that moment carefully think over what it meant. I now realize that it was Master strengthening me to see all these and encouraging me to do better, since I had done right this time.

During that period, my family watched me closely. There was a propaganda and rumor mongering campaign on TV. Added to which there were the threats from the police and the fear of my own attachments. I was at a loss about what to do. Seeing Master and Dafa being defiled, not knowing what to do, my heart was indescribably anxious. I wanted Master to give me some hints. Then, I received a false article allegedly written by Master asking disciples not to do anything. I had some doubts about the article. However, because of my fear of attachments, I heeded the false article and enlightened along an evil path to "genuinely cultivate" at home.

Later on, police officers from the local police station came looking for me several times. In the end, affected by my attachment of fear and the false article, I wrote "the statement" claiming to give up practicing Falun Gong. I felt really bad after I had written it. In the following days there were a couple of times, when others were slandering Master and Dafa right in my face, that I dared not validate Dafa or clarify the truth. Moreover, I felt sleepy for as long as I studied the Fa and practiced the exercises. At the same time, I could not see the inner meaning of the Fa, not even when studying it. I could not maintain my xinxing well in daily life either, and played video games all day. It was always like that. During that precious period, fellow practitioners, in the face of the threat of illegal detention, brutal bearings, prison sentences, and even a ruined family, stood up to validate Dafa. Compared with them, how could I be counted as being determined in cultivation? Indeed, I was too ashamed to face Dafa and Master.

In October 2000, I finally got in touch with practitioners who were participating in the validation of Dafa. Then I knew that what I had seen was a false article. At the same time, I obtained Master's genuine articles and experience-sharing articles by Dafa disciples. I realized that to stand up and validate Dafa was the right thing to do. I then began to clarify the truth to the people of the world.

In December 2000, I read Master Li Hongzhi's Lecture at the Great Lakes Conference in North America. Since I was not studying the Fa deeply and was not remaining calm, I fell into an extremely pessimistic mood. I felt that I did not deserve to be a Dafa disciple. I had let both Dafa and Master down. In Serious Teaching, Master also said, "Why does a person study Dafa? Those people only want to gain from Dafa, and they regard Dafa as a protective shield. What are they doing while Dafa encounters persecution, while disciples are being arrested, persecuted, and beaten to death for protecting Dafa? What are they doing while their Master is being slandered? Are they waiting for something good simply to fall from the sky? Are they waiting to reach Consummation once the tribulation ends? I'm really worried for them. They have no idea how dangerous the situation is for their true beings!" "Some people wanted to wait for Master to spell things out and tell everyone what to do and how to protect the Fa. They have waited for Master to spell things out and tell everyone to go to Beijing to validate the Fa, and for Master to tell them clearly that [they should] clarify the truth to people. Once I spell things out for them, however, what they do is no longer self-initiated by their own righteous thoughts. Once the answers are provided the test ends, and those afraid to step forward to validate the Fa forever lose their chance." I thought I had no chance any more. I felt hopeless, pained, and regretful.

I knelt before Master's picture, begging Master time and again in my mind, "Please save me, Master! I am begging you, please save me! Please give me another chance!" Master's facial expression was very solemn. My heart was extremely sorrowful but not resigned. So I begged Master again, "Master, please save me! I am begging you! Please save me!"

Master's facial expression was still serious. I understood that Master was establishing the foundation for the Fa and the future of the universe. He would not break a rule for anyone. Master said, "Whenever I see you suffer hardships, Master feels even more upset than you; whenever you do not take a step well, it really pains my heart." "I know all of the suffering of my disciples. The truth is, I treasure you more than you treasure yourselves!" (Eliminate Your Last Attachment(s)). Now I understand that Master's solemnity was to be responsible to me. He did not want my human side to absolve me from my fault and conceal my attachments. Master wanted me to be enlightened from the perspective of the Fa, to eliminate my attachments, and solidly to improve myself. This is to save me genuinely. How benevolent Master is!

I remember Master's words, "One should return to one's original, true self; this is the real purpose of being human." (Zhuan Falun) Those who risk their lives to validate Dafa have lost things maximally and yet stepped forward to safeguard Dafa. They are all lustrous gold, brightening others and themselves. Yet I had become a grain of sand. All of a sudden I thought, "Why should I give myself up as being hopeless? Why should I abandon myself to vice? I still have time. Dafa has given me my life. Dafa and Master are benevolent enough to give me another chance, though I had not taken proper advantage of the opportunity. But I still have a chance. Although time is limited, I can clarify the truth to others as well. Even should there be only one person, I will clarify the truth to him. Those practitioners are burnished gold illuminating others, and I am a grain of sand. However, when a grain of sand is burned and melted in a blazing fire, also it can radiate, though it is not as pure and beautiful as gold. I want to burn everything in my life to validate Dafa and brighten others, even if I brighten only one person. My life is not enough to repay the benevolence of Dafa and Master. But, since I am a living being in this cosmos, I want to use my life to validate Dafa. I must safeguard and validate Dafa. It gives me everything. This is my responsibility, my obligation, and my pleasure as well.

On January 10, 2001, our factory held a factory-wide meeting in recognition of the model employees. At the meeting, the factory director gave a review on the past year's projects. However, he suddenly changed the subject and started to smear Falun Gong. My heart sank, "Somebody is attacking the Fa." Our Teacher's words came to my mind, "... when someone comes to attack the Fa, what should you, a disciple, a particle of Dafa, do? Shouldn't you let the truth be known and make people aware of the facts?" (From the speech by Master Li Hongzhi at the Western U.S. Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference of Falun Dafa) I thought I should go up to the podium and clarify the truth to everybody. But my fear came up and my human mentality tried to find some excuses for my attachment of fear: "I haven't put the truth-clarifying materials in a safer place. It doesn't matter even if the police arrest me when I clarify the truth, however, what will happen to those materials if the police find them? Maybe I should take care of the materials first. And I can clarify the truth to people next time when I have a chance." But those words of Teacher's came up to my mind again. I struggled for a few minutes.

Finally I stood up and confidently went up to the podium, silently reciting Teacher's words, "Validate the Fa with reason, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and offer people salvation with benevolence." (from Teacher's article "Rationality") I went up to our factory director and said to him politely, "Director, please let me use the microphone for a little while." I took up the microphone and turned to face my five hundred colleagues. At that time, all the people were looking at me and it was very quiet. Time itself seemed to be frozen. The only thing that I needed to do was to validate the Fa. So I said, "Falun Dafa is not superstition. And it is certainly not an XX [the Chinese government's slanderous word omitted]..." (Later on I heard that all of the employees in my factory and their family members talked about my speech. About two or three thousand people got to know the truth this way.)

The police ran towards me and forcibly took me to the factory Security Section. They beat me and ordered me to write the "guarantee" to give up practicing Falun Dafa. They also required me to admit "mistakes" at a factory-wide meeting. I refused. They madly beat me. Then they ordered me to slander the Fa and Teacher. I again refused, and they again beat me. They also cursed me with the most malicious words. I felt pity for them since they didn't know they were ruining themselves. So I said, "Please don't have any bad thoughts towards the Fa. I do care about all of you." They beat me again. In the end they sent me to a police station since I refused to obey any of their commands.

I wasn't nervous on the way to the police station. I thought, "Now I can call myself a disciple of our Teacher." I couldn't help my tears. My only concern at that time was about those truth-clarifying materials. I asked Teacher to help me to protect those materials.

Later I was sent to a police custodial center because I refused to write the "guarantee." In the cell, I saw a few practitioners squatting on the ground with some criminals, eating half-cooked corn bread and drinking black soup with some frozen potatoes in it. I was very sad and I couldn't help crying. I thought, "Falun Dafa practitioners are inhumanly persecuted when they are trying to validate the Fa and save people. Our great benevolent Teacher has been bearing more hardships than we have. Then how many hardships and what hardships has our Teacher suffered?" I also learned that many practitioners were maltreated and even lost their lives when validating the Fa while in police custody. I cried for a few days.

I was detained in the custodial center and I lost all my personal freedom. However, my heart felt light and my body felt comfortable. I didn't have the feeling of suffering any more like I used to. I felt extremely relaxed and happy. During the first few days in the custodial center, no matter whether I closed or opened my eyes, I could see the gods and Buddhas all over the sky. There were layers of them. All of them were extremely solemn and magnificent. I knew Teacher was strengthening my divine powers. I couldn't have experienced all of these if I were staying at home to secretly cultivate myself. Teacher said, "Getting arrested is not the purpose. Validating Dafa is truly glorious -- it is to validate Dafa that you step forward" ("Rationality")

Thirty days later, the police transferred me to a detention center. I was the only practitioner in my cell. I kept clarifying the truth to those criminals and again those gods and Buddhas manifested themselves for me. After several days, my family came to visit me. They told me that if I refused to write the "guarantee," my father and my brother would be fired. My brother's fiancée would break up with him. My mother had a serious illness and the doctors said it might be cancer. My uncle's only son was born when he was in his forties, and his son was very ill at that time. Still, from hundreds of miles away, my uncle came to talk to me. His ears were even frostbitten. And another uncle, my aunt, my aunt's husband, my classmates, etc., they all came. They tried to talk me into writing the "guarantee." I thought, "On the surface, my family has suffered because of my validating the Fa. They couldn't understand me now. However, I know that validating the Fa is the most righteous and the best thing in the universe. So I'm being truly responsible to all the people, including my family and my friends. I've been truly good to them! The sufferings and pleasures in the human world are short and temporary. But the Fa can bring to people all the real and the most wonderful things!" So I kept clarifying the truth to my family and friends, smiling all the time.

Another fifteen days later, I was transferred to another detention center. There I received Teacher's article, "Coercion Cannot Change People's Hearts." Tears flowed from my eyes, "Teacher is so benevolent!"

After 108 days' illegal detention, I was released. I didn't write the "guarantee." My father and my brother were not fired. My brother's fiancée didn't break up with him. My mother was fine. My uncle's son got well also. I came to realize that all of these were tests for me. I passed the test of human sentimentality.

I want to say from the bottom of my heart to all my fellow practitioners who didn't do well before: "After reading my article, I hope we can encourage each other to break though the barriers. Let's make good use of the time left to firmly safeguard the Fa. Then maybe one day, you will find yourself a particle of the Fa again." Teacher has said, "Cultivation and Fa-rectification are serious. Whether you are able to treasure this period of time is, in fact, a matter of whether you can be responsible to yourselves. This period of time will not last long, but it can forge the mighty virtue of magnificent Enlightened Beings, Buddhas, Daos, and Gods of different levels, and even Lords of different levels. ... Disciples, be diligent! Everything that's the most magnificent and the most wonderful is developed in the process of your validating Dafa." After Jiangxi practitioner Hu Qingyun was tortured to death, the evil forces ganged up to obstruct the availability of information to the public.

Hu Qingyun is a cadre of First Criminal Section People's High Court of Jiangxi Province.

Practitioner No. "1015" was illegally arrested from a rented house by Chaochang Street Police Substation Chengguan District Lanzhou city on October 15. She was passed to Chengguan District Police Department National Security Brigade and later sent to Chengguan District Detention Center. She didn't tell a word about herself so police guards called her "1015." She started a hunger strike on the fourth day in the detention center. On the seventh day, she was sent to Dashaping Forced Labor Camp Hospital. The hospital force-fed her by inserting a tube through her nose to her stomach. Her resulting poor health caused extreme medical conditions on two occasions. The first incident happened around October 23 when she fell into a coma-like state caused by unknown medical complications, however she woke up after several hours of emergency rescue. The second episode happened on the evening of October 26. She twitched, her eyes went blank and her mouth lay open for long time, she lost conscious for two hours. There was insufficient blood to her heart, and she was exhausted after a long bout of pneumonia and she even had suffered from poisoning

Now, seven days later, we still don't know her current condition. We are worried about her situation and her health. Another male practitioner arrested at the same time with her was also sent to the hospital because of health problems during a hunger strike.

Besides, another Lanzhou practitioner Ma Jun (reported on Minghui many times) was detained passed the sentencing terms. Regardless of a weak heart to protest the illegal detention, she started a hunger strike on October 19. Because of insufficient blood supply to her heart and her life was in critical condition, the guards dared not to force-feed her. They tied her to a bed and gave her intravenous injections.

Practitioner Wu Xiaojing (female) was detained at Xiguoyuan Labor Camp long passed the sentencing terms. She was very weak after many hunger strikes. Recently, she again went on hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. She was sent to the hospital in the labor camp because she was in critical condition.

Starting from July 3 up to today, the practitioners in Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp have been on a group hunger strike. Sometimes 50 or 60 practitioners went on hunger strike, sometimes only a few practitioners.

Practitioner Wang Hongbing went on hunger strike for 58 days. On August 31, the authorities of the labor camp allowed him to go home for medical treatment and his family paid 5,000 Yuan for his bail. On September 21, police from the labor camp detained him again without giving any reason and without returning the bail money. So Wang Hongbing went on hunger strike again to protest. On October 12, the authorities allowed him to have medical treatment at home and released him.

In early October, practitioners in the labor camp started a group hunger strike again. The causes and reasons are still unclear. We only know that practitioner Li Liguo detained in brigade one started a hunger strike on October 8, asking for the return of the reputation of Dafa and releasing all illegally detained practitioners.

[China] Dafa Practitioners Hang Up Truth-Clarifying Posters Openly and Aboveboard

Around 5:00 p.m. on October 29, under the protection of Master, Dafa practitioners hung up the "Falun Gong Truth Answers and Questions" posters in a building in the downtown area of a city in the northwest part China. This frightened the evil people.

On October 31, 2001, a department in Nongan County, Changchun City held an evil picture show and required the attendance of every office, enterprise, business unit, teacher and student currently enrolled at the school. Some Dafa practitioners acted out of benevolence in order to save the people and eradicate the evil; they decided to use righteous thoughts and go to the County Cinema which was being "protected" by the police. They printed, brushed, posted and hung Dafa posters on the site. They returned safely. Other Dafa practitioners cooperated by sending forth righteous thoughts at home to eradicate the evil. Because the evil banners were hung too high, Dafa practitioners could not reach them, so they sent forth righteous thoughts to have the wind blow off the evil banners. On that night, the fierce wind blew and reached its peak at 9:00 p.m., roaring with light snow. The next day, the evil banners were blown away and even the inside display windows were damaged. The evil people were frightened by the mighty virtue of Dafa and stopped hastily.

In April of this year, a Dafa practitioner and his relatives in Chengdu City of Sichuan Province went out for a walk after dinner. They were arrested on the charge of "being suspected" of distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials. In the detention center, even though this Dafa practitioner's relatives did not practice Falun Gong, but because he insisted that "Falun Dafa is good," he was detained for four months without being given a reason.

Every month, on the days when relatives of Falun Gong practitioners come to visit, the wicked people at the Longshan Labor Camp and Zhangshi Labor Camp in Shenyang City of Liaoning Province will place the picture of Teacher on the ground at the entrance of the interview room and have every relative step on it, otherwise, they are not allowed to meet their relatives.

She was taken to the detention center in June 2001. She did not tell her real name when she was brought in. Everybody called her "prison blossom" out of their sincere admiration for her.

When the provincial public security department and city public security department fetched her for interrogation, the evil police tortured her in order to extort a confession from her. She was hung on the doorframe and beaten while swinging. Her face turned dark from the beating and she had wounds all over her body. But her resolution towards Dafa enabled her to never yield to the evil force. In order to protest the cruel torture of extorting the confession, "prison blossom" started to hunger strike. Finally, 19 days later, with the positive intervention of the detention center, the wicked police promised not to beat her any more. Now, "prison blossom" has recovered and faces everything happily. She said, "I only have teacher and Dafa in my heart. The wonderful flower in the yard will surely blossom in the spring, there is no need to worry even if the wind and rain continued on for several nights." She firmly believes that the day will come when flowers will blossom in warm spring.

In the detention center, the guards and other people all call her "flower." She really deserves to be called a wonderful flower in the cultivation of Dafa.

Changchun Dafa practitioners, please be alert. Recently, the wicked police kidnapped four or five more Dafa practitioners. Since April 25, 1999, the wicked police team leader Zheng Dianyu and his followers, a total of 500 policemen illegally arrested about 100 Dafa practitioners and are responsible for guarding the brain-washing classes of Agriculture Farming School of Changchun City. This wicked person has been the chief officer of Changchun City Procuratorate [a department for examining and monitoring the conduct of party members and state employees]. Because he committed adultery, he was removed from his office. Afterwards, he bribed a higher level leader and was transferred to the police detachment in Changchun City. He was known for harassing female coworkers and visiting prostitutes. He was called "experienced hoodlum" by his fellow workers.

Changchun City Dafa practitioner Yao Yongchun, male, 48-year-old, elementary school teacher has been detained two times for going to appeal for Dafa. On October 30, he was detained again for distributing truth-clarifying materials. The evil plans to illegally sentence him to forced labor.

On October 25, Changchun City Dafa practitioners Fu Jing, Qiao Yaqiu, and Sun Ning were kidnapped by the evil in Beijing. Now, they have been sent back to Changchun City.

Since the publication of Teacher's article "From Master to the Second Dafa Conference in Russia," we realized that practitioners in China should also enhance communication and exchange experiences with each other. We should "encourage each other, and progress together with diligence." (from "From Master to the Second Dafa Conference in Russia") This week, practitioners in our city have held four experience-sharing conferences at different locations over the period of two days, with over a dozen or scores of practitioners in attendance each time. During the Fa-conferences, little disciples have seen our great Teacher, large Falun protecting every disciple present, white cranes and the heavenly maidens scattering flowers, etc. At the beginning of each conference, we sent forth righteous thoughts together. Then we exchanged our ideas on how to completely deny the arrangements of the old forces, how to step forward from human mentalities and how to rectify all that is not righteous.

On September 23, Huang Guang, the vice Party secretary of Shengli Village, together with Liu Guiqing, justice assistant, and his driver came to Yang Zhehui's home, and asked her to write a guarantee statement to stop practicing. Yang refused their demands by kindly expressing that she had greatly benefited from practicing Falun Gong and that all that she had previously written while under pressure, which was not in agreement with Dafa, was not true and should be corrected since it was against her will. She also told them she will always nobly practice Falun Gong and never do anything that is not up to the standard of a Dafa disciple.

On September 24, when she went to pick up her pension paycheck, she was informed that her pension payments had been stopped since October and that all the pension previously owed to her (about 2,000 Yuan, equal to three months' average income of an ordinary worker in China). She hasn't obtained any pay since then, which has caused financial difficulty in her life.

In order to gain promotions and get rich, he has become a vicious thug in persecuting Falun Gong in Wanan County. He extorts money from practitioners, using the excuse of cracking down on Falun Gong. He persecutes practitioners' family members and relatives as well. He illegally detains practitioners under the pretense of holding brainwashing classes. Local people have greatly suffered from him, but they are forced to keep their resentment to themselves.

Around eight o'clock on September 24 of this year, approximately ten bad policemen in plainclothes from the Tongzhou District Branch of the Beijing Public Security Bureau, with submachine guns in hand, claimed that they were there to repair a water pipe and thus tricked me into opening the front door. They illegally searched the temporary home that I rent from local people, confiscated over ten Dafa books, more than 30 tapes and two tape-recorders, over 1,500 Yuan in cash. They illegally detained my 10-month-old baby and I for over 20 hours. During the detention, my baby was badly frightened. Since I was still breast-feeding, I was sent back to my temporary home on the evening of the 25^th, and was asked to move away soon.

When they broke into my room, I was in my underwear. When I asked them to leave, they said, "You can't be regarded as human. You don't have the right." They then forcibly photographed me, and sent my baby and I to the police substation separately. A male policeman, who is over 30-years-old, threatened me, saying "If you don't cooperate we'll take the baby away, give it to others or send it to the orphanage. No matter who they are, they can raise it better than you." He even tried to frame me by claiming that the child was frightened because I practiced Falun Gong, rather than due to their evil persecution.

On the 25^th, they confiscated all my property that was in my temporary home and took it to the warehouse of the police substation, including my quilt, clothes, gas cooker, stove, electric heater, and even my baby's diapers. Two days later, I went to ask for these things, and the vice director of the police substation refused to give them back to me. I then asked somebody else for my things, and was told that I had to first write a note of reception. After I got back all the stuff, I found that my 1,500 Yuan in cash had disappeared. They gave me 500 Yuan and self-righteously said that, "This is for your rent. Not a penny of the sum we confiscated is yours any longer. We give you this since we know that you have financial difficulties at the moment." They also asked me to guarantee not to rent local places to live.

[Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Supporting Practitioners on Hunger Strike in Dalian City's Zhoushuizi Labor Camp, to Protest the Brutal Persecution.

According to reliable resources, over 60 female practitioners and some male practitioners, their number is unknown, are on a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention in Dalian City's Zhoushuizi Labor Camp. One male practitioner successfully walked out of the labor camp. Now the vicious wardens are perplexed and do not know what to do.

[Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Partial Statistics of the Persecution against Falun Gong Practitioners

From July 20, 1999 to October 30, 2001, around 1,000 female practitioners suffered long-term illegal detention in Zizhong City's Nanmushi Female Labor Camp, Sichuang Province.

The following statistics are based on the cases of 439 persecuted practitioners whose names are known and confirmed:

Zhou Zhuqing, male, 55 years old, is an engineer whose postal address is Chengdu City Airplane Company P.O. Box 103. In August 2000 he went to safeguard Dafa in Beijing and was illegally sentenced to three-and-a-half years of forced labor. He is now detained in the Deyang Labor Camp.

Jiang Hong, a middle school teacher with a bachelor's degree at Shuangliu County's Huayang Middle School went to safeguard Dafa in Beijing in August 2000. He was illegally sentenced to three-and-a-half years of forced labor and is currently detained in the Deyang Labor Camp.

Sun Chunfan, a driver affiliated with the Shuangliu County Committee went to safeguard Dafa in Beijing in August 2000. He was sentenced to three-and-a-half years of forced labor and is currently detained in the Deyang Labor Camp.

Kang Li, a resident in Zhonghe Town, Shuangliu County was illegally detained for three month in June 2001 for clarifying the truth to the public. He was later forced to leave his home and is now living in exile.

L Shengyun was illegally sentenced to one-and-a-half years of forced labor in June 2001 for clarifying the truth to the public.

[Liaoning Province] Liaoning Province Authorities Will Send an Additional 200 Female Practitioners to a Labor Camp

We have heard from sources from the Liaoning Province Judiciary Department that more than another 200 female practitioners would be put into labor camps. Some would be sent to the Masanjia Labor Camp and others to Dalian City's Labor Camp.

The vicious wardens in the female unit of Dalian City's Labor Camp started a new round of persecution against practitioners. Yang Jing, the head of No.2 Class of the female unit inhumanly tortures those determined practitioners.

With steadfast righteous thoughts, practitioners Ding Yuqi and Sun Yan firmly rejected the shameless betrayers' [those who became brainwashed and help to abuse Dafa practitioners] evil enlightenment. Having failed to achieve anything from mentally torturing them, the vicious wardens put the two practitioners into solitary confinement in small cells for 'sealed up' persecution. It was said the wardens in the female unit always persecuting practitioners this way. The door and windows of the small cell were sealed up, leaving only a small hole in the door for monitoring. This cell is completely cut off from the outside world. These determined practitioners are suffering twofold torment of mental and physical torture in solitary confinement in the small cell.

Practitioner Hu Guilian was beaten up at the same time when Teacher's article was taken away from her.

In the new round of forced brainwashing persecution, which took place in the middle of March 2001, at least one practitioner was tortured to death; one practitioner was forced off a tall building, and was crippled as a result. The police shocked Dafa practitioner Zhang Zhikui with electric batons and then poured cold water on his body and shocked him again, so that Zhang Zhikui' s whole body was electrified. They intensified the torture with this cruel method. Zhang Zhikui's flesh and clothes were burned. The policemen also electrically shocked Zhang Zhikui's genitals so that Zhang Zhikui could not control his bowels. Others had to support him when going to the washroom. Even under such brutal tortures, Zhang Zhikui still persisted in studying the Fa and practicing the exercises, and steadfastly continued with Dafa cultivation while in jail. Zhang Zhikui has now been sent to a labor camp.

Authorities from the male unit of Dalian's Labor Camp intensify the persecution of Dafa practitioners. They regrouped the illegally detained practitioners, and once again established a 'Class under Strict Discipline' (Note: a special class organized for practitioners who were hard to break). Practitioners who went on a hunger strike were sent to this class, with their arms and legs fastened onto the bed with leg irons and handcuffs. In Team No.1, there have been cases of force-feeding. Due to the tight information blockade, details yet need to be further investigated.

Earlier, Minghui.net reported the persecution of Dafa practitioners by people from the Dalian Labor Camp in collaboration with the Guanshan Labor Camp in Changtu City. Following is some additional information about the situation: Dafa practitioners Wang Zhiyong, Liu Changhai, Liu Renqiu, Qu Fei and Luu Kaili were among those who were sent to Guanshan Labor Camp from Dalian Labor Camp. The former is notorious for enslaving practitioners with highly intense labor, and the living conditions there are extremely adverse. At midnight on October 7, 2001, Ge'ermu City government and police illegally searched practitioners' homes and arrested almost all the practitioners who steadfastly cultivated Dafa. Six Falun Dafa practitioners, Liu Fanqin, Jiang Guolan, Yin Chengqun, Sun Xiaoli, Wang Hong and Wang Qingrong from Beibei District in Chongqing City were illegally detained in the Chongqing Female Labor Camp for one to two years. Though released after the original term was up, they were again forcibly sent to Chongqing Beibei District's Teachers' Training School for detention without any good reason. It has been over half a year now. Dafa practitioner Zhang Youkao was directly sent to a brainwashing class after being released from the labor camp, without even notifying his family. These practitioners have suffered severe torment both mentally and physically. They have completely lost their personal freedom.

[Dalian City, Liaoning Province] The Persecution Dafa Practitioners Luu Kaili and Sun Yan Had Suffered

Dafa practitioner Luu Kaili had been kept in a labor camp for one year for being steadfast to the practice of Dafa and for his active participation in Fa-rectification. He was detained in the Masanjia Labor Camp. When he came close to the release date, he was transferred to Dalian Labor Camp. As soon as he arrived there that afternoon, the vicious police and prisoners brutally tortured him, in an attempt to force him into giving up Dafa. However, Luu Kaili endured the savage torture once again. Because of his firmness in practicing Falun Dafa, his detention term was prolonged by 6 months. After his release, he was still tailed and watched closely. During a get-together with some other practitioners, he was again illegally arrested and sent to a labor camp. He is currently detained in the Guanshan Labor Camp.

Luu Kaili's wife, Sun Yan, was illegally detained in the Dalian Detention Center because of her firmness in practicing Falun Dafa and her participation in Fa-rectification. While in the center, she firmly adhered to righteous thoughts and actively resisted the evil. She was released when she was on the verge of death after months of being on a hunger strike. Later, when her husband was once again illegally arrested, she was persecuted too. She was illegally detained in Dalian Labor Camp, and is currently locked up in solitary confinement in a small cell.

Li Hongqing, a police officer from Zhejiang Shiliping Labor Camp was directly in charge of the illegal detention of Dafa practitioners. Under the orders of its Chief, Xue Yongxing, he brutally persecuted Dafa practitioners. In the winter, the police stripped practitioners, leaving them only their undergarments. They tied practitioners' hands on seats and forbade them to go to toilet or to sleep. Practitioners were allowed only 2 or 3 mouthfuls of food per day. The doors and windows were left wide open to freeze them. When practitioners passed out from such torture, they would infuse them with medicine and continue with the torture. As a result, a few practitioners became disabled. Those practitioners who persevered in Dafa practice have been locked up in solitary confinement in small cells all the time, suffering unspeakable inhuman torture.

One day, when seeing a wicked policeman with a brush paint over a Dafa sign on the wall, without hesitation, a practitioner from this township stepped forward and said sternly, "Aren't you afraid of receiving retribution?" This practitioner is a "key monitored target," designated by the police station of that township. The wicked police had earlier beaten her severely in order to force other practitioners to write the so-called "Guarantee Letter." (A statement saying that one would give up Dafa practice) As she didn't have any fear in her heart, the words she spoke were very powerful though her voice was soft. The wicked policeman was startled. He took a look at her but didn't say anything. In the end, he only hastily brushed off a couple of the chinese characters and left. The local police came to check his handwriting. The practitioner was then illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor.

Mudanjiang City Police Department officers intensified the persecution against practitioners. Recently, they illegally detained five practitioners, including Jiang Chunmei (female) and Fu Ying (female). Their current situation is unknown.

Zheng Chunzhuang, director of Dengta City's Police Department, in order to gain a promotion through persecuting Falun Gong, has run several brainwashing classes and has illegally detained, beaten and arrested practitioners. He has successively sent a dozen practitioners to labor camps. In order to get the upper hand of others, he even went so far as to shamelessly report an official in charge of the provincial higher authorities, saying that person was "going easy" on Falun Gong. Even so, Zheng's hope of promotion has come to nothing.

As practitioners in China face tremendous pressure to give up their beliefs under the Chinese regime's brutal persecution, there are those who have given in and signed documents renouncing Falun Dafa. However, many of these people deeply regret doing so after they are released from detention and labor camps. "Solemn declarations" are the public statements made by such practitioners, often at great risk to their personal safety, to declare to the world that the documents they signed under duress are null and void and that they will continue to practice Falun Dafa.

(Clearwisdom.net) In 2000, Fangqiang Labor Camp sent personnel to Masanjia Labor Camp to study the "techniques" used there to torture Dafa practitioners. Soon after, they intensified the persecution on Falun Gong practitioners. The camp strictly controlled and tormented Falun Gong practitioners by using the "Three Collection" method, i.e., two criminal inmates watch one Falun Gong practitioner, always following Falun Gong practitioners closely, even when they were using the toilet, brushing their teeth or washing themselves. If the inmates made an effort to control Falun Gong practitioners tightly, their imprisonment term would be reduced. Under such an incentive policy, Falun Gong practitioners had no personal freedom at all and they were even forbidden to talk with other practitioners. In early April of 2001, Dafa practitioners in Team 7 protested against the system, but the police instigated the prisoners to drag away those who were making this reasonable request. Then, Dafa practitioner Xu Aihua refused to work in protest, thus she suffered severe persecution. They took off all her clothes on the working site, pressed her down on the ground, piled up soil on her body and dragged her on the ground. The persecution was intensified to such an extent that it is beyond imagination of all kind-hearted people that this is happening in the 21st century China.

Instigated by this policy, the vicious prisoners used shoes to violently strike Dafa practitioner Zhang Yulong's face until his head, face, eyes, nose and mouth were out of shape. The wicked inmates hit and kicked Dafa practitioner Pan Rujing because he refused to slander Master Li and Dafa articles. The labor camp police themselves used electric batons to shock the Falun Gong practitioners.

During the evil persecution, team 4 Dafa practitioners collectively submitted a letter that requested the government to restore the reputation of Master Li and Falun Dafa, release all illegally imprisoned Dafa practitioners, and provide Dafa practitioners a safe practice environment. The police were furious at the Dafa practitioners' just request. They punished the team 4 Dafa practitioners physically by locking some up separately and electrically shocking others with batons. They tormented one Dafa practitioner in the "Severe Punishment Team" (where determined Dafa practitioners are locked in and suffer more brutal persecution) with 6 electric batons.

In order to accomplish the criminal task assigned by the higher officials, since this July the labor camp has used the team 2 as a brainwashing base, threatening, cheating and misleading in addition to the regular beating, cursing, electric shocking, and constantly brainwashing them around clock. Everyone locked in team 2 has experienced the constant brainwashing without any sleep, from one week to half a month. They aimed at breaking down one's spirit so as to reach their criminal goal.

It is the police who has instigated and supported the inmates' evil acts. However, who is it that has instigated and supported the police's brutal persecution?

One policeman of team 2 admitted voluntarily: "We have the order from above that we will have to take legal responsibilities if other inmates die, however, we don' t have to take any legal responsibilities if Falun Gong people are tormented to death."

It is self evident that Jiang Zemin and other evil authorities have been instigating them to commit crimes.

In the brainwashing class of Hanchuan City Party School, the helping and teaching officers have applied different means to force Dafa practitioners to give up cultivation. First, they asked practitioners to write so-called recognition letters in a way like adults coaxing babies. But all the practitioners wrote only their pure insights and righteous beliefs. A couple of days later, the officers started to yell. Once they had seen the practitioners' determination, they began to punish the practitioners by making them run. Then they did not allow them to eat, and handcuffed them outdoors for the night "to feed the mosquitoes." Seeing that all their brutality did not affect the practitioners, they viciously cheated and threatened the practitioners' families, forcing them to beat the practitioners badly. One practitioner's husband is the owner of a Mamu [a kind of transportation vehicle, much smaller than taxi, similar to motorcycle] shop and her son owns a repair shop. In order to attain their goals, the officers went to her home many times to coerce them into beating this practitioner. Her husband said to her, "How can I be willing to beat you? They disturb me every day, detain my Mamu and fine me. How can I have money to be fined?" Her son said, "They prevent me from opening the door of my repair shop and don't allow me to work. How can I be willing to beat my mom?"

At last the steadfast practitioners were sent to No. 2 custodial center, where officer Ma Huofa wouldn't allow practitioners to see their families. The family has to pay "living expenses" in order to see a practitioner. Some practitioners' families are very poor and have no money to give. Some families gave them money, thereby submitting to humiliation. When the families saw the practitioners, officers Ma Huofa, the director Li Jiangao and Zeng Fanjin always cursed them and ordered them to beat the practitioners. The officers also beat the practitioners and forcefully apply injections to the practitioners who are on hunger strike. These evil people all have received various degrees of retribution:

----- One day, director Li Jiangao saw a practitioner practicing, so he viciously ordered a male criminal to beat him. The practitioner was faithful enough to continue practicing, so the director commanded the criminal to beat him again. After a while, Li fell down. His arm, leg and mouth had all been hurt, especially his arm, which had a thick black scar.

----- Zeng Fanjin cursed the practitioners because they refused to count. Zeng cursed the practitioners for half a day in front of the door, sitting on a chair holding a cup of tea . The next day, he had a sore throat and could not speak. So he had to have fixed intravenous treatment for couple of days.

----- Zhang Hongcai from the brainwashing class of the Party School slandered Dafa. His mouth festered to under his nose because he often read slanderous materials. He said without enlightening, "My mouth was sore, so I have not talked to you for a couple of days."

----- Evil policeman Xiao Yangming beat practitioners and felt arm pain right away. But he did not enlighten at all, saying, "I would beat them again if my arm were not sore."

----- Evil policeman Zhao beat a practitioner, felt uncomfortable and had to take medicine the next day. A criminal asked him if he had beaten the "Falun gong," he waved his hand and replied, speaking quietly "Don't say that, don't say that."

----- Evil policeman Chen Zhiqiang beat a practitioner. A couple of days later he was dismissed.

It is such a pity that those ignorant lives have done things so offensive and reason under the motivation of the interests and disregarded warnings from gods after they received retribution. They don't know that persecuting other lives is actually failing to cherish their own lives and burying their own future.

(Clearwisdom.net) Xu Yuman, female, 35-years-old. She went to Beijing to appeal on December 23, 2000. The Beijing police illegally arrested her and sent her to Harbin City liaison office in Beijing. They sent her to Acheng City's detention center and illegally detained her for fifteen days. Teng Jianjun from the "610 Office" (An agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) extorted 1,000 Yuan (about two months salary for an average Chinese worker) from her. Yang Zhizhong from the second division of the provincial water department extorted 2,000 Yuan from her.

Li Xuelan, female, 26-years-old. On January 14, 2001, Zhao Guofang from the neighborhood's management office brought Zhang Ke from the police department to Li's house and threatened her. Zhao said, "You and your sister are important targets. The '610 Office' has labeled you as important targets." They forced Li and her sister to write a statement of guarantee to give up practicing Falun Gong. The sisters did not agree to their request. These hooligans frequently went to her house to harass them and finally dispatched vehicles to arrest her. They had no choice but to hide in their relatives' home. Those wicked people then went to their mother's home to try to arrest her. They scared her mother so badly, she had a heart attack and had to be sent to the hospital. The 6-year-old girl living with her mother was frightened and often had nightmares and woke up crying. These wicked thugs also went to her father-in-law's house frequently and made him ill from the threatening and he also had to go to the hospital. These wicked hooligans are threatening the safety of Li's family members; they are punishing these innocent people who are related to Li.

Ping Guifang, female, 39-years-old. On Lunar Calendar December 29, 2000, when she was working in a supermarket, the unit secretary, union president and cops, totaling 8 people, tricked her into a police vehicle by saying that they wanted to talk to her. They took her to the Heping Police Substation where policeman Zhao Yaguang took her by the hair and slammed her against the wall; she passed out from the impact. When night fell, the hooligans sent her to the detention center for illegal detainment. She went on a hunger strike to request unconditional release. The hooligans forcibly fed her with salt-water, after which she became paralyzed. They detained her for 3 months for no good reason. She became delusional and couldn't take care of herself. Her older sister took her back home to take care of her. At this point, Ping still cannot perform any tasks. During the Spring Festival period of 2001, the Heping Police Substation sent two police vehicles and over ten cops to her house to arrest her and her two sisters. They refused to comply, and the cops pushed Ping to the ground and stomped on the temples of her head with their hard leather boots and then tried to stuff her in the trunk. They pushed her in with force when they couldn't stuff her into the space. Her two older sisters went to her rescue and pulled her out. The cops proceeded to beat them up inhumanly. These are Jiang Zemin's political gang of scoundrels' deeds, and it's the real side of Jiang Zemin's political gang. The cops that tortured Ping included the policeman Zhao Yaguang. The wicked assistants from the Acheng City agricultural machinery factory: Party Secretary XXX, Union President XXX.

Ping Guizhen, female, 52-years-old. In October 2000, she and her two sisters went to Beijing to safeguard Dafa. The police captured them on Tiananmen Square. They put them into the police vehicle, sent them to the police substation, and locked them in steel cages. Each cage had about 300 practitioners in it. That evening they transferred the sisters to the Huairou Prison. The wicked cops stripped them of their clothes, leaving only underwear and illegally searched them. Then they gave the sisters to Zhao Yaguang from Acheng City to take them back. Zhao Yaguang took away their last 300 Yuan, sent them to the Acheng City Second Detention Center and illegally detained them for seventeen days. The sisters went on a hunger strike requesting their unconditional release. The cops from the police substation extorted 1,000 Yuan and released them. Their work place refused to pay them for seven months, a total of 1,900 Yuan. The sisters were forced to support themselves as vendors selling miscellaneous products. During the Spring Festival of 2001 the police substation sent some cops to force the three sisters to write guarantee statements for giving up practicing Falun Gong. Guizhen refused to sign. About seven or eight cops tried to forcefully take her to the jail around midnight. With the family's assistance she escaped through the window and wandered about for two months. On April 29 as soon as she entered her house, the factory's party secretary and other people broke in and held her by her hands, trying to force her to write the "guarantee." She refused to write and these hooligans contacted the police substations. Five cops were sent and they sent her to the detention center and illegally detained her for two months. They extorted 300 Yuan for food, and extorted about 200 Yuan from her family. Four days later the cops extorted another 500 Yuan before releasing her. These wicked individuals always go to their house and harass them. One day two vehicles and about ten cops went to arrest the sisters and stuffed them into the vehicles. The sisters held each other's hands and refused to let go. Around this time their 70-year-old mother ran in front of the vehicle and tried to stop them from going. They shoved at the old lady and she passed out on the ground. The sisters shouted, "Suffocate the evil!" The wicked cops became scared, released them, and quickly drove away. Many people witnessed the cops' silly performance and all broke into laughter.

Ping Guilan, female, 48-years-old. On December 2000, the Heping Police Substation sent two police vehicles and about ten cops to arrest Ping Guilan and her two sisters. They resisted boarding the cars by holding on to each other. Their 70-year-old mother tried to prevent the cops from taking them, and the cops pushed her to the ground; she passed out from the fall. The three sisters shouted, "Suffocate the evil!" The cops fled in horror. Around 4 p.m. on March 7, 2001, the cops stopped her husband's rickshaw, threw the rickshaw to the ground, took him into the car and forced him to take them to Guilan's house. The cops asked Guilan if she would continue to practice. She answered, "Yes," and about six or seven cops pulled and dragged her into the car. They sent her to Yagou's brainwashing class. They made her and other illegally detained practitioners watch the evil's tapes that attacked Dafa based on made up information. She refused to watch it and the cops beat her up. The cops hired about twenty or so thugs to be their assailants. Under the orders of the cops these violent thugs beat her up again. They didn't stop until she lost control of her bowels and bladder. She went on a hunger strike for seven days for her unconditional release and they illegally detained her for over five months before letting her go. The units and the hooligans that tortured her were: the Heping Police Substation of Acheng City, the Acheng City Hosiery Factory, the Second Detention Center of Acheng City, the Yagou brainwashing class's wicked cops and assailants.

Jin Runsheng, male, 53-years-old. On July 23, 1999, he was illegally detained in the Heping Police Substation for three days because he organized a group practice of Falun Dafa exercises. Lu Jitao from Heping Police Substation extorted 200 Yuan from him. On June 20, 2000, he was again illegally detained; this time for fifteen days and the Heping Police Substation officials extorted another 2,000 Yuan because he voiced support for his fellow practitioners. He went to Beijing to appeal on November 30, 2000, and was illegally sentenced to forced labor in Changlinzi Labor Camp. He was released on September 1, 2001, and the Heping Police Substation extorted yet another 3,000 Yuan. Throughout all these ordeals, he was inhumanly tortured.

Xu Shuyuan, female, 43-years-old. In March 2000, she was fired from her job because she diligently practiced Falun Dafa. The evil persons involved in persecuting her are, Sun Xiaodong, Jiang Yiping, Zheng [first name unknown], and Fan Yuhua. On November 10, 2000, she went to Tiananmen Square to safeguard the Fa and was taken back to the factory by the Public Security Division police where she worked. Evil policemen from the Acheng Relay Factory, Zhu Dameng, Sun Siling, Li Chunjiang, Fan Yuhua, and Jin Zhongxue extorted 3,000 Yuan from her. During the Spring Festival in 2001, because she refused to sign her name to the "statement" she was forced to become homeless and destitute for over two months. During this time, her factory personnel kept sending people to her husband's workplace to coerce and threaten him. Her husband tried to use rationality, but the public security people threatened to arrest him; they insulted him in the middle-level cadre meeting and often went to harass their family late at night.

Xu Shuqin, female, 47-years-old. She went with some other Dafa practitioners to Beijing to safeguard the Fa in November 2000. They were illegally arrested and sent to Zhanqian Police Substation, where they were put in a large iron cage to be body searched. They were interrogated one after another by the police about their addresses. If they did not answer, the policemen used batons to beat them. At that time, Xu was having her menstrual period and she wanted to go to the washroom. The evil policemen did not let her go and instead beat her severely. She promoted the Fa to them but they did not listen to her, instead, they forced her down onto the table, beating her from the neck to the buttocks with the batons. She was beaten black and blue all over her body, yet the evil policemen doing the beating had not slaked their hatred enough; they beat her on the face with batons so that she could not even move. They asked whether she would continue to practice; her answer was "Yes." In the dead of night, the evil policemen took all the practitioners to the suburbs and released them.

Ji Wenliang, male, 62-years-old. On December 29, 2000, four evil policemen including two from the Acheng 610 Office, Teng Jianhua,Wu Yanchun, and two evil policemen from the Hedong Police Substation,Yang Zhizhong and a young man, abruptly conducted an illegal search of his home.

Huang Fujun, male, 39-years-old. He was forcefully detained in the Yagou Brainwashing Class on February 16, 2001. Later he was sent to a detention center. An evil policeman and warden, Zhang Jingyi, gave him six slaps on the face. A prisoner, Zhang Bao, ordered other prisoners to pour more than twenty basins of cold water on him until he was shivering and icy cold all over his body. He was sent to brainwashing class and was tortured there for over two months but the brainwashing class failed to change his mind.

The list of units and persons involved in persecuting Huang Fujun is as follows.

Zhang Dawei, fifty years old, Deputy Secretary General of Acheng Municipal Party Committee and the Secretary General for the Commission for Inspecting Discipline

Wang Yufu, 57-years-old, is the Secretary General for the Commission for Inspecting Discipline

Zhang Jingwen, 56-years-old, is the Director for the City's No. 1 Detention Center

Zhou Xiaozhang, 41-years-old, is the deputy director of the City's No.2 Detention Center

Li Xueqin, female, 35-years-old. She went to Beijing to validate Dafa in January 2000, and was arrested by evil policemen from the Beijing Qianmen Police Substation and detained in a large iron cage. She was then sent back to the Acheng Railway Police Substation. The evil policeman forcefully stripped off her clothes and body searched her and confiscated over 240 Yuan from her. She was sent again to No.2 Acheng Detention Center and was illegally detained there. She went on a hunger strike to demand her release and was released. The police department extorted another 3,000 Yuan from her. They also extorted 10,000 Yuan from her husband. In March 2001, when she heard that the evil ruffians would persecute her by sending her to a brainwashing class, she left home and became destitute. The evil police went to her home many times to harass her and asked her mother where she was. Her over 70-year-old mother was so frightened she had to be hospitalized. The evil ruffians went to her older sister and younger sister's homes to arrest her. Her relatives' homes were often put under surveillance and they were allowed no peace. The names of the evil persecutors are Yang Zhizhong, Lang Mingjie, Zhang Baocheng, Di Jianming, Cong Lizhen, Zhao Yacheng, and Li Juan.

Yu Junjie, male, 43: On September 8, 1999 he went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong. He was arrested and sent to the Heilongjiang Liaison Office in Beijing. When the police from Shuangcheng City came to pick him up, the policemen Yu Zhanjun and Sui Guangcheng body-searched him and took away 180 Yuan (Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban laborer is about 500 Yuan). He was detained for 66 days in the Shuangcheng Detention Center. His family asked for his release many times, but police refused them every time. After the family was extorted 5,000 Yuan by Wang Guodong and Zhang Shiyao from the 610 Office (a bureau specifically created by the Chinese government to persecute Falun Gong. It has absolute power over each level of administration in the Party, as well as over the political and judiciary branches), another 2,500 Yuan for so-called "travel expenses to Beijing to bring Yu Junjie back" by the town's vice mayor, 500 Yuan by Wang Jingui from the local police station and 580 Yuan by Shuangcheng Detention Center, he was finally released. On January 18, 2001, police from the local station broke into his home and asked if he was still practicing Falun Gong. Yu Junjie answered yes. The police immediately sent him to the Shuangcheng Detention Center and jailed him for 65 days. Wang Jinzhu from the police station along with Wang Guodong and Zhang Shiyao from the 610 Office extorted 1,000 Yuan from him before releasing him. On May 16, 2001, he was arrested by the local government on the pretext of "illegally gathering," while he was talking with other Falun Gong practitioners. Vice mayor Sun Jihua and policeman Li Heji beat him up and left him unconscious for a long time in the cell. He was unable to eat anything for several days. He was detained for 60 days. The local government paid some thugs to monitor and follow him.

Zhao Dongyan, female, 29: In November 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong. She was arrested, sent back, then detained in Shuangcheng's 2^nd Detention Center. Practitioners were not allowed to read Falun Gong books or practice Falun Gong, and were forced to sit on wooden benches for a long time. She and other practitioners were locked up in an empty house in the backyard of the Center. Every one was detained in separate rooms. The guards stayed in the big living room. There were no daily necessities permitted, and for eleven days they were denied bathing facilities. Later she was sent to the cell in the front yard. The food offered was black and mildewed corn gruel with fish bones or chicken bones in it. 3,000 Yuan was extorted from her by Zhang Guofu from Shuangcheng's 610 Office, and she was forced to pay 200 Yuan as a meal fee. After being detained for 49 days, she was released. On June 24, 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal again. She was arrested and sent back. She was handcuffed together with another practitioner, which made moving very awkward. During more than 2 months of being detained in the Shuangcheng Detention Center, 3,000 Yuan was extorted from her by Zhang Wanliang from Youlian Village and 200 Yuan as a meal fee by the detention center before she was released. The local police station and village officials searched her home and took away all the construction materials and tools (estimated at 7,000 Yuan) which her family had prepared to build a house. On January 1, 2000, she was arrested while distributing Falun Gong flyers in Qiqihar City, and detained in Qiqihar's 1^st Detention Center. Police tortured and beat her up in order to force her to give them her name and address, but she didn't. She was locked up on a iron chair for three days without food or water. The police put shackles on her twice. Once she was sent to the Longsha Police Patrol Section in Qiqihar City where she was brutally tortured. The police broke a broom handle while beating her. They also used rubber hoses to beat her; especially the section chief beat her up fiercely. Her face was black and blue, her lips swelled up, and her mouth was bleeding. Shackles were put on her, she was forced to wear a heavy helmet, and her mouth was tightly sealed by a towel. After half an hour, when the police stopped torturing her, her hands turned purple-black and had lost all feeling. On the 26^th of the last month in the Chinese lunar calendar (in Jan. 2001), police poured cold water on her and another practitioner, opened the window to freeze them, forced them to sit on a brick floor, and beat and kicked them. She was recognized by someone and sent back to the Shuangcheng Detention Center. She was released after going on a seven day hunger strike, and is now homeless.

Wen Yonghua, male, 37: On November 4, 1999, he was illegally arrested by Handian Police Station. The police interrogated him by torturing him for an entire night, then sent him to the Shuangcheng Detention Center the next day and detained him for one month. Before he was released, Zhang Shiyao from the 610 Office forced him to pay 4,500 Yuan. On June 20, 2000, he went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong. He was arrested on Tiananmen Square and jailed in Yanqing Detention Center for seven days, then sent back to Beijing before he was escorted back to his hometown. He was detained in the Shuangcheng Detention Center for 86 days, and had 500 Yuan extorted from him by Wang Hongsheng and Liu Yingwu. The Center transferred 750 Yuan out of his bank account.

Dong Guozhong, male, 48: In July 2000, he went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong. After the village officers heard this, they stole his cow, and forced his wife to either pay 2,000 Yuan or they would sell the cow. His wife had to borrow money from friends and relatives to get the cow back. During the 15 days in the Shuangcheng Detention Center, he was brutally tortured. His chest was swollen. Police kicked him on his ribs with their boots on and hit his ears with their fists. His ears were swollen and he had a blood blister. His ribs were so badly wounded that he could not turn around on his back or breath freely. This is the brutality of Jiang Zeming's thugs!

Dong Yinghui, female, 22: On December 22, 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong and got arrested. She was detained in the Huairou Detention Center in Beijing. Because she refused to tell her name and address, the police threatened to throw her into male cells. She went on a hunger strike and the police used electric batons to beat her up while she was tightly handcuffed and could not dodge the blows. In Chengde County Detention Center in Chengde City, Hebei Province, she refused to tell her name and address, the policeman Meng Guixiang and the Section director, Chang threatened to send her into the cell's that held convicted murderers. She was sent back and detained in the Shuangcheng Detention Center for 50 days. The local government and Liu Yingwu from the village committee extorted 2,500 Yuan from her.

Yang Lihua, female, 31: On December 30, 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong, and was arrested at the Fengrun Train Station, which is around 100 kilometers from Beijing. She was sent back and detained in the Shuangcheng Detention Center for 100 days, leaving her two children unattended at home. Her relatives went to the detention center asking for her release, but were refused. The local government and police station forcibly took away the four-wheel tractor from her home. Without the tractor, her family could not do anything on their farm and missed the planting time, thus losing several thousand Yuan. The village head extorted 6,500 Yuan from her family before returning the tractor.

Zheng Yanxia, female, 31: In December 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong and was arrested. She was sent back and detained in the Shuangcheng Detention Center for 15 days. Zhang Yanbin (the communist party secretary from Xinli village) extorted 800 Yuan from her before she was released.

Wang Zhifen, female, 52: On September 10, 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong and was arrested by the plain-clothes police. She was sent to the Shuangcheng Liaison Office in Beijing, where the police stripped her in the lavatory and took away all her money. Her township government took her to the Shuangcheng Detention Center and detained her for 81 days. Policemen Liu Chunyang and Zhang Shiyao extorted 3,000 Yuan from her, and she was forced to pay a 670 Yuan accommodation fee. Wang Jinzhu and Zhang Dianqi from the local government extorted 2,500 Yuan from her.

Lei Minggong, male, 33: On September 5, 1999, he was detained in Shuangcheng Detention Center because he went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong. He was brutally beaten in the detention center. You Guoxia from Handian town extorted money from him three times for a total of around 16,000 Yuan. Handian township government extorted another 2,500 Yuan. Shuangcheng Public Security Bureau and Yang Xu extorted money from him twice for a total of 4,000 Yuan. The police took away his 500 Yuan and the detention center forced him to pay 1,200 Yuan for meals.

Liu Quanguo, male, 43: On September 5, 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong and was arrested. He was detained in Shuangcheng Detention Center. Handian Police Station extorted 500 Yuan from him. Handian township government forced him to pay 2,500 Yuan. On November 26, 2000 he was detained by Shuangcheng Detention Center for the second time. Shuangcheng Public Security Bureau extorted 2,000 Yuan from him. He was forced to pay 500 Yuan for meals, and was tortured and beaten up during the period he was detained.

Xiong Chunqing, female, 34: On July 20, 2000, she was illegally detained in Shuangcheng's 2nd detention Center. Guards and police often beat her in the detention center and extorted 400 Yuan from her.

Zhang Xiuqin, female, 32: On July 6, 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong. She was arrested by plain-clothes police and sent back to Shuangcheng Detention Center. Zhang Shiyao the head of the detention center extorted 2,750 Yuan from her.

Jiang Minghua, female, 36: On September 9, 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong and was arrested. She was sent back to Shuangcheng Detention Center and detained for 21 days. Zhang Shiyao the head of Shuangcheng Detention Center extorted 3,000 Yuan from her. Handian township government extorted 2,500 Yuan and Handian Detention Center extorted 500 Yuan. In April 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal again and was detained in Shuangcheng Detention Center for 32 days. Because she and her family didn't have any more money, the secretary of the village often brought people to her home asking for the House Certificate and money. Police often came to search her house.

Three German Dafa practitioners returned to Berlin yesterday by train from Frankfurt. Many local practitioners welcomed their arrival and held a press conference nearby. In the train station they unfurled huge banners reading "Falun Dafa" in both Chinese and German. Reporters attending listened to the recount of their experiences in China. Reporters from Deutsche Presse-Agentur inquired about each person's situation in detail.

The practitioners said, "They (the Chinese police) gave each of us a big bag of food that was enough for 5 people and tried to videotape the scene. We insisted that they removed the video camera."

"Thirty-six of us were pushed into a underground cell about 2x10 meters (6x30 ft) in size. There were no windows."

One practitioner said, "When they wanted to see my passport, I said, 'I'll show you only if you say 'Falun Dafa is good.'"

In the afternoon on November 21, 2001, 7 Swedish practitioners who participated in the Tiananmen appeal stopped over in Copenhagen Airport, Denmark on their way back to Sweden. They were warmly welcomed by Danish practitioners and interviewed by the media.

After learning that the Swedish practitioners were coming, Denmark practitioners immediately started their actions of faxing news releases, contacting media and leaving for the airport from their offices.

As soon as the Swedish practitioners came out of the exit, Denmark practitioners welcomed them with bouquets of flowers. The practitioners from both countries had a group photo taken with a banner reading "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." The Swedish practitioners appeared a little tired after the maltreatment by Chinese police for over 20 hours and the long flight back. However, during the short stopover, they still recounted their experience in China to reporters. Bruises were still clearly visible in the corner of a practitioner's eye from the beatings. Bruises were also visible on the arms of several other practitioners. The criminal actions against people that Jiang Zemin's regime committed and tried hard to cover up were exposed before the eyes of the people worldwide. "Your current performance as Dafa disciples is outstanding. All of your benevolent conduct is what evil fears most, as those who attack goodness are bound to be evil. The actions they are now adopting in the persecution of Dafa and its students are extremely wicked and shameful, and they fear these will be exposed. Their evilness must be made known to people around the world-this is also offering people salvation." (Rationality)

The Swedish fellow practitioners also shared with us their experience of getting rid of attachments one after another, their minds becoming purer, and rapid Xinxing improvement during this Fa-rectification activity and during the several days before going to Tiananmen Square through studying the Fa and sharing experiences and insights. One practitioner said that they had strong feelings when they sent forth righteous thoughts in Tiananmen Square because they knew that they had the support of tens of millions of Dafa practitioners worldwide. They recounted that when clarifying the truth to police, they wanted to save these lives with great compassion and tolerance. On the way back, they felt gratified when they clarified the truth to the Chinese sitting beside them.

These practitioners who had always led a comfortable life had been maltreated and arrested. During their detention, they were even deprived of sleep. Then they were deported by being escorted to a plane. However, they did not have any resentment or complaints but only care and compassion towards others in their mind. All of these were so naturally revealed. "The great Fa and the great epoch are forging the greatest Enlightened Beings." (The Disciples' Magnificence)

Irish Western practitioner Brian was detained in a police station with other over 30 western practitioners after arrested by Chinese police for a peaceful appeal on Tiananmen Square. He secretly walked out of the police station with wisdom from Dafa and protected one precious video tape recording the western practitioners' guarding and validating Dafa on Tiananmen Square. He returned to Dublin safely on November 22, 2001. His family and other Dafa practitioners warmly welcomed his safe return in the airport. We played the Dafa music Jishi for 10 minutes in the airport with the permission from airport staff.

After Brian's parents and his other family members learned that he had been arrested by Jiang Zemin's regime on Tiananmen Square, they expressed great support and understanding and actively contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Chinese Embassy in Ireland to rescue him. Brian's mother contacted us by phone and listened to Brian's letter to his parents and other family members. She cried over phone, "I am proud of my son." Brian's father said, "We support him. He's very courageous to stand out to defend his belief." Brian's sister said, "He's a hero. I am really proud of him."

The mayor of the city of Brian's home called Brian's parents in person and expressed his concern to Brian and Brian's family. He said, "I am proud of Brian. I must meet him after he returns and greet him in person."

Patricia McKenna, Member of European Parliament from Ireland also wrote to the Chinese ambassador to the European Union, the Irish Prime Minister, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs to express her extreme concern regarding this matter and strong indignation regarding China's persecution against Falun Gong and the infringement of people's basic rights by Jiang Zemin's regime.

All Irish media including various newspapers, radio broadcasting stations, TV stations covered the event that 35 western practitioners demonstrated on Tiananmen Square peacefully to protest the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners by Jiang Zemin's regime.

Brian, the 22-year-old Irish practitioner had the wish to go to China and Tiananmen to validate Dafa long time ago. Now his wish has come true.

After coming back, Brian joined in the Fa-rectification again by writing about his experience in Tiananmen and organizing the information he brought back, which can show people around the world how Jiang Zemin's regime treated the western practitioners by punching and kicking, pulling female practitioner' hair, twisting the limbs of female practitioners and even knocking them unconscious to the ground, and then claimed the treatment as "humane and fair" to the world (claimed by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman).

We extend our deep respect to the 35 western practitioners who went to Tiananmen to validate Dafa and tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners in China who have gone to Tiananmen to shout, "Falun Dafa is good!" from the bottom of their hearts since the evil's persecution began.

Along with 35 other practitioners, I also went to Tianamen Square to Send Forth Righteous Thoughts. This was the purpose of my trip. Although I knew that this would shock the old evil forces beyond words, it would validate Fa further in both the human world and in countless other dimensions.

Before I had heard about the event, I had a dream about Fa study. In the dream I was told, "you know that you should study the Fa more" (not exact quote). I had already decided to participate in part of a European SOS walk, so I assumed that the dream was to prepare me for this. I felt later that it was a message from Master to encourage me do strive forward even more.

Many other practitioners shared experiences through E-mails and I felt myself merging into Fa more and more. The feeling is indescribable. We improved together and I also felt I was being pushed higher, rather than raising myself up. I knew I was doing the correct thing for Fa, and every-time I had a notion about the outcome, I tried my best to us righteous thoughts to eradicate it. The Fa finally became everything to me. Again, I can't describe this properly.

I had decided to apply for a visa through the regular channels since I could remain vague with the dates of travel (this was suggested by other practitioners). I applied nervously, and also collected the visa nervously. Especially since I had gone to the Chinese Embassy a few weeks before to talk to the staff about Falun Gong. On that occasion, they refused to talk with me, but I still looked two of them in the eye while requesting to speak with a member of staff from the Embassy.

There was no major problem with the visa. I wasn't surprised because I knew that I was meant to go to Tiananmen Square. But the nervousness showed me that I still had needed some improvement.

Flights, accommodations, and media, etc. were done rather hurriedly with short notice before the trip. However, everything fitted neatly together very quickly. Everything went smoothly, even when I checked through the arrivals gate in Beijing airport. I went to visit many tourist spots. But everything was lining up for the Tuesday at 2pm (Beijing time).

I left early on Tuesday morning, after reading the Fa for about 4 hours. I went to the Embassy area to roughly find the Irish embassy. I also took many precautions in case I was followed. At 1.45pm, I walked from Tiananmen West station towards Tiananmen East station. I met three fellow practitioners, two of whom were posing as a newly married couple. Within minutes, all the practitioners who were participating joined together and there were pictures taken of everyone standing (in the form of a wedding photo).

At this time, I felt nervous. However, I didn't think I would be arrested. I innocently thought that I would just walk away with the others to our embassies. When I heard the screech of brakes from the police vans, I was shocked. Then I heard others being dragged away by police. I continued to send forth righteous thoughts -- although my mind was disturbed.

It came to my 'turn' to be taken away, an "officer" tried to pull me but I didn't move that much. Then two police officers tried to lift me up and onto the police van. They stomped on my left leg (still in the lotus position) and it slipped down. I didn't struggle, instead I left my arms go limp and I just slid through their grasp. I continued to resist.

I had opened my eyes slightly and seen a female practitioner lying unconscious outside the police van. However, I continued to resist. I tried to freeze the police officers by shouting "Ding", however at this point my mind was severely disturbed. I did not succeed. Eventually, my right leg fell down and I walked onto the police van. I noticed the female practitioner (who was unconscious) had been lifted onto the van. Later, at the police station, I saw this lady being carried, still unconscious, into the station.

While in the van, one of the practitioners was filming everything with a digital recorder. I sat two seats from the back and the situation didn't bother me that much. Being arrested on Tiananmen Square was not the purpose of our journey, but we had succeeded in showing so many people that practicing Falun Gong was legal in other countries. So it was a success.

One practitioner confidently said "Shall we leave?" I agreed, saying that they had no right to detain us. The practitioner sitting next to me left the van through the window, I followed along with the digital tape on which the footage had been filmed. Just about everyone on Tiananmen Square had come to gather around the police vans. Every one of them witnessed the contrast between our peacefulness and the police brutality. I walked away but was detained for being a westerner with a camera on Tiananmen Square!

I was detained with four other westerners and three members of the media. The police station was dark and gloomy and I witnessed the police forcibly taking the others through the corridor. After two hours, I was released without any charges.

After returning home, I heard that others had been punched, kicked and even beaten because of their participation in this peaceful appeal. I have a deep respect for the practitioners who participated, and who had the courage to face their oppressors with dignity.

My heart is eternally grateful for having the chance to show Chinese people that "Falun Gong is good."

(Clearwisdom.net) November 21, 2001 -- Four Swiss practitioners participated in the peaceful appeal made on November 20 on Tiananmen Square in Beijing by 36 citizens of 11 Western countries. The Swiss Falun Gong Association reacted quickly by informing the media through a press conference in Geneva Tuesday morning. Patrice MUGNY, a member of the Swiss Parliament (from the Green Party), attended the press conference, saying that he was impressed by the courage of those young demonstrators. "One might call it a provocation, but in positive terms, what they have done is to manifest their right to express their spirituality, and whether in Switzerland or in China, everyone has the right to express his or her convictions," he added.

The spokesperson of the Swiss Association said they didn't participate in this action. "As there is no chief, no hierarchy and no administration among the practitioners, every individual may act on his own initiative according to his conscience," stated one practitioner to the journalists.

The Swiss Association also contacted the Swiss Embassy in Beijing and the officials of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They were told that the Swiss authorities are acting together with other countries involved in order to solve the situation. A lot of human rights NGO's based in Geneva were also alerted and some of them are preparing a reaction. Another press conference will be held on Wednesday in Geneva to give follow-up information.

When ARD-correspondent Stefan Nieman wanted to file a report about the Falun Gong protest action happenings at Tiananmen Square last Tuesday, he found his workday brought to a halt at the police station.

He had been arrested, together with journalist Jutta Lietsch, who writes for the Leipziger Volkszeitung (Leipzig People's News), and a CNN-camera operator. No one carried a hand-held camera. Lietsch had stood a few meters too close to the action. That in itself is a breach of conduct in the eyes of Beijing's leaders. Both those two journalists were detained in police custody for two hours and then officially presented at the Foreign Ministry. "They have broken Chinese laws and had to expect serious consequences," so said Beijing bureaucrats.

Mr. Niemann and Ms. Lietsch had only carried out their jobs, and that can sometime be somewhat complicated in the PRC. Several dozen foreign reporters were present at Tiananmen Square last Tuesday. Falun Gong followers had alerted them via telephone and Internet that "something big is going to happen that day at Tiananmen Square." Since Beijing's laws of censure require pre-notification and permits for any kind of activity [at Tiananmen Square], the world press appeared in the guise of tourists. A German reporter appeared to photograph his posing girlfriend and in the process set his zoom lens exactly for the Falun Gong group. Radio correspondents wore tiny microphones pinned to their collars, to document the protest cries. An Australian photographer held a miniature camera at hip height and photographed a policeman as he stamped on the stomach of a Falun Gong member. In spite of the more open economy, to date, nothing has changed in China's censure laws. According to the official "Handbook for Foreign Journalists," every planned interview must be pre-registered with the proper foreign departments. When journalists travel inside China, it is the rule that they be accompanied by chaperones, whose expenses must be paid for by the journalists. For a few years now, some of these rules had been somewhat relaxed. A Lake Forest man detained last week in China for protesting repression of Falun Gong said he hoped to show the government that foreigners support the meditation practice.

Brad Carson was one of 35 people from 13 countries arrested Tuesday in Tiananmen Square. The 1999 graduate of El Toro High School was held 30 hours before being released to spend Thanksgiving weekend with his family. He left Lake Forest on Saturday for California State University, Sonoma, where he studies theater and psychology.

"Our purpose was not to be a martyr," Carson, 20, said. "We weren't there to get arrested. We were there to tell them that Falun Gong is good."

China banned Falun Gong in 1998 as an [slanderous term omitted]. Thousands of followers have been jailed, and hundreds have died in custody, according to human-rights groups.

The foreign Falun Gong practitioners traveled separately to China to avoid detection. "All we knew was that we'd meet at Tiananmen Square at 2 p.m., sit and meditate," Carson said.

The 35 gathered at the scene of the 1989 massacre of pro-democracy demonstrators in front of an enormous poster of Chairman Mao Tse- tung. They sat in the lotus position and unfurled a yellow-and-red banner that read "Truth, Compassion, Tolerance," the Falun Gong motto.

Carson took his shoes off to meditate. One of them is still in Tiananmen Square, he said.

As they shot photos, police surrounded them and shoved them into vans. Some used cell phones to call their embassies and the media.

"They dragged women by their hair and pulled one guy by his fingers," Carson said. "I saw them hit my friend in the back with their fists. I saw them kicking a guy on the ground. A girl from Australia got her hair ripped out, which was not cool."

The police interrogated the demonstrators during the next 30 hours, holding them first in a jail and then in a hotel conference room. None of the guards laid a hand on Carson, he said, because he meditated to remain calm, which had a calming effect on his jailers.

"In English, I said, 'Be nice to me and I'll be nice to you.' I think it worked," he said.

Carson has practiced the breathing, balancing and meditation exercises of Falun Gong for about 18 months. He said it has helped him overcome asthma and clarified his thinking. Falun Gong is not a religion, Carson said, but it has allowed him to "react compassionately" and have the "tools to look inside and become a better person."

He spent Thanksgiving with his parents, Fred and Lois Carson, and other family. "I apologized that I made my parents worry," he said.

Xu Qihui, lecturer and director of Zhongjiang County Party School in Deyang area of Sichuan Province was illegally sentenced to 2 years forced labor for clarifying the truth to his relatives and friends.

My son has been illegally detained in Huanxiling Forced Labor Camp of Jilin City for more than a year because he went to Beijing to appeal. He has suffered all kinds of cruel mental and physical tortures. Every time I visit him, he always tells me resolutely, "Mother, I will never yield to the evil!"

Voice of America reported on the 21st that foreigners had gone to Tiananmen Square to appeal for a stop to the suppression of Falun Gong and had been arrested, violently beaten and sexually harassed. A German reporter who witnessed this incident was detained for two hours and warned not to report it. The reporter for Channel 1 in Germany had all his photography equipment and films confiscated, and the telephone line used by this TV station to report this incident was disconnected.

The Political Journal of Denmark reported on the 21st that 35 western Falun Gong practitioners had been arrested while going to appeal on Tiananmen Square. One detainee said that they had been subjected to violence in the police vehicles.

98 people published solemn announcements today, declaring that all they said, wrote and did under threats, coercion and torture that don't conform to Dafa are completely void! They will double their efforts to make up the loss they caused to Dafa, firmly cultivate and become qualified Dafa practitioners.

--The director of Tonghua City Railroad Hospital of Jilin Province publicly attacked and cursed Dafa and its founder on numerous occasions and died in a car accident.

--Two old men in our neighborhood resent Dafa and tore up truth-clarifying materials and suddenly died.

--A resident of Longhua, Hebei Province took down a Dafa banner and put it under his bed, and right away his daughter's lower abdomen starting aching non-stop. He couldn't understand why until later, he guessed it was retribution. He hung the banner back up and his daughter's stomachache immediately disappeared.

A relative of mine talked about some thugs at a train station who were forcing people to curse Teacher and Dafa, saying, "I'll curse whoever they want me to curse." He also said some disrespectful things about Dafa. I immediately stopped him, "you'll suffer retribution if you say things like that." Later, he was stung by a mosquito and the swelling became infected and developed pus. His wife was shocked, "It's impossible to develop pus from a mosquito bite. This really is retribution."

Radio France Internationale (RFI) broadcast the news simultaneously to China and the greater Paris metropolitan area: Western practitioners of Falun Gong peacefully protested in Tiananmen Square against the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese government.

A German newspaper reported on Nov 17, 2001: a group of young Chinese people now walking from Berlin to Munich are calling for people's attention to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

On a bus, a practitioner promoted Dafa to the people who tear off Dafa materials posted in public. The practitioner eliminated her attachment of fear. As a result, people on the bus with predestined relationships heard about the truth of Dafa.

A Dafa practitioner from Sichuan Province completely opposed the evil's brainwashing class. With the wisdom and compassion that she had obtained from her cultivation, the practitioner was able to see the real truth. With the righteous thoughts and determination of a Dafa practitioner, she deterred the interference and clarified the truth of Dafa to people. She closely follows Teacher and eliminates her attachments, never losing her bearings in her voyage of cultivation.

Falun Dafa Practitioners in Guangdong Province and in Beijing send congratulations on the founding of Falun Dafa Associations in Israel, Austria and Belgium.

39 people solemnly announced that all they had written, said, and done against Dafa under extreme pressure and persecution are completely void. They have made up their minds to steadfastly cultivate Dafa and double their efforts in making up the losses they caused to Dafa.

On the morning of November 11, Dafa practitioners in one city in northeast China put up in the sky several over ten-meter-long banners on ropes. The golden characters of "Falun Dafa Glows For Ever," "Restore Innocence to Teacher Li Hongzhi," etc., on the red banners were easy to see. It eliminated the evil and encouraged the practitioners in that city.

On the morning of November 10, nine practitioners of us sent forth righteous thoughts, recited Teacher's articles to eliminate the evil and went to Tiananmen for Fa-Rectification. We came back safely on the night of November 11.

A young teacher's medical examination result in 1994 was that the HBSAg, HbeAg and HbcAb were all positive. Medicine could not solve any of these ailments. Soon after starting to practice Falun Gong in March 1996, the teacher's body has become light and his face looks rosy. His medical examination results three months later showed that all of the above ailments became negative.
