(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 23 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Xinbin County, Liaoning Province] The Case Against Mr. Li Qingsheng Submitted to the Procuratorate
2. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Junfang Arrested
3. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested
4. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Yuping Arrested and Detained
5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Guiju Arrested and Detained
6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Ding Baohui and His Wife Arrested
7. [Fenxi County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Cai Shuiyun Arrested
8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Suhua’s Home Ransacked
9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ding Dongmei Arrested and Detained

11. [Ezhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Ailing and He Chunhua Arrested

1. [Xinbin County, Liaoning Province] The Case Against Mr. Li Qingsheng Submitted to the Procuratorate
Mr. Li Qingsheng, 78, learned in April 2024 that his case was submitted to the Shuncheng District Procuratorate by the Xinbin County Police Department.
Mr. Li was arrested by officers from the Yongling Town Police Station on November 14, 2023, and was later released on bail pending trial.
2. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Junfang Arrested
Ms. Wu Junfang from the Huangshu Village in the Jinan New District was placed under official arrest by the Ci County Procuratorate on April 10, 2024.
3. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested
Officers from the Hong’an Police Station went to Mr. Feng Zimin’s home on April 26, 2024. They broke the door with an electric drill and entered the home. They arrested the four practitioners who were reading Zhuan Falun . They are Mr. Feng Zimin, Zhang Jie, Ms. Feng Hui, and Ms. Sun Haizhu. The three other practitioners who were coming were also arrested just outside of Mr. Feng Zimin’s home. They are Ms. Sun Yufang, Ms. Yang Xiuhua, and Ms. Gao Yongzhi.
4. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Yuping Arrested and Detained
Ms. Zhang Yuping from the Xiahuayuan District and another practitioner were arrested when they were posting stickers in a residential community on the evening of April 27, 2024. They were placed under 10-day detention and are currently held in the Zhangjiakou City Detention House.
5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Guiju Arrested and Detained
Ms. Wu Guiju from the Wuchang District was arrested along with several other practitioners by officers from the Qingling Street Police Station in the Hongshan District on the morning of April 26, 2024. Ms. Wu is currently detained in the No.1 Detention Center of Wuhan City.
6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Ding Baohui and His Wife Arrested
Mr. Ding Baohui, a doctor who works at the Caofeidian Hospital, was arrested along with his wife and his wife’s sister on April 22, 2024. His wife’s sister was released. Mr. Ding and his wife are still detained.
7. [Fenxi County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Cai Shuiyun Arrested
Ms. Cai Shuyun from Duizhu Town, in her 60s, worked as a home care provider for an old person in Yuci District of Jinzhong City. It was learned on April 26, 2024, that Ms. Cai was arrested in the Yuci District.
8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Suhua’s Home Ransacked
Ms. Li Suhua lives in Yuanfei Residential Community. Her home was ransacked by police in the Fangzi District on April 26, 2024.
9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ding Dongmei Arrested and Detained
Three officers from the Zhoushuizi Police Station went to the shop that belongs to Ms. Ding Dongmei’s husband at 2 p.m. on April 26, 2024. They showed him a video clip from the surveillance camera of someone distributing truth clarifying materials. They suspected the person in the video was Ms. Ding. Ms. Ding and her husband were taken back to their home, and the police ransacked it.
The couple was taken to the Zhoushuizi Police Station in the afternoon for interrogation. Ms. Ding did not cooperate with the police and was released at 10 p.m. Her husband was pressured to return to the police station the next day and sign a guarantee statement to make sure that his wife would not go out and distribute information about Falun Gong.
Ms. Ding was arrested on the evening of April 28, 2024, and was placed under 15-day detention.
10. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Ximei Arrested
Ms. Zhang Ximei was arrested by officers from the Tianwei Police Station in Jingxiu District on April 9, 2024. Her home was ransacked. The police confiscated several books, computer, etc.
11. [Ezhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Ailing and He Chunhua Arrested
Ms. Zhang Ailing and He Chunhua (gender unknown) from Huarong District were recorded by surveillance cameras when they distributed truth-clarifying materials on the evening of April 24, 2024. They were arrested the next morning and their homes were ransacked. The two practitioners are currently detained in the Ezhou City Detention Center.
12. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Su Xiuying Arrested
Ms. Su Xiuying was arrested at home on April 24, 2024. Her home was ransacked. The police confiscated a Falun Gong book and several pictures. Ms. Su was taken to a brainwashing center and was released that evening.
13. [Chongqing] Zhao Chunfu Arrested and Detained
Zhao Chunfu (gender unknown) was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of April 11, 2024. Three officers from the Huayuan Road Police Station went to Zhao’s home on the evening of April 12, 2024. They ransacked the place and took Zhao to the police station for interrogation. Zhao was placed under 10-day detention.
